Chapter 1
Its been two weeks since she locked herself in her room. Everyone was worried about her, especially bulbul. She knew what happened but she couldn't tell her mother because she will get devastated. she understand her pain, after all shes going through the same thing. Sighing she knock on the door,to give her food,but she refuses to answer or open up.
"behain...please open the door,everyone is worried about you." she said, when she didn't get any answer, she said "i know you wont open if i'm here, so i will leave the food at your door, please eat it mam is really worried about you, she thinks something happened to you and abhi." she replied before walking away disappointedly
Elsewhere, abhi was in his room practicing his guitar when the string broke cutting his hand in the process, screaming he sucks his finger then search for a bandage when pragya came in smiling at him "here abhi, this should help. i told you many times to be careful when you play, don't be so aggressive." she said while sitting him on the bed and blowing on his wound before bandaging it.
Abhi blocking her out,kept staring at her, wondering what shes doing in his house. he watch as she touch his fingers worriedly, her hair falling on her face hiding her from him. out of impulse he tucked her hair under her earlobe surprising her, looking up she eye him and he did the same. He was gonna touch her face when someone called him, making him snap out of whatever dream he was in.
"abhi! dadi..shes...shes awake." aliyah said excited
Abhi hearing this ran to her room, forgetting to put bandage on his hand. When he reached their he got down on his knee and hold her hand, rubbing it softly.
"Dadima! its me abhi." he said
She turn her head to him and than look behind him to see everyone, even tanu. She didn't care to ask why tanu was their at the moment all she care about was her daughter-in-law, looking at the door she expected pragya to walk in and be by her side, but when she didn't she knit her eyebrows together.
"wheres pragya?" she asks, making everyone silent
Dadi will have to know sooner or later, how pragya wanted to divorce him and her cheating on him he thought
"dadi, the thing is ... pragya left two weeks ago." he said surprising her
"what are you saying abhi" she asks
"she divorced me to be with her lover suresh." he said making dadi narrow her eyes
"this is not true,abhi...pragya would never do that." she said in denial, everyone watched as dadi tries to get up to leave, they all panicked when she almost fell.
"Dadi, please you have to rest.your not well." Aliyah said,but dadi ignored her and kept calling pragya name
"aliyah's right dadima,please rest and get better, I don't like to see you like this." he said making her lay back on the bed. When she relax everyone sigh with relief, but that soon disappeared when she asks to see pragya.
Meanwhile, pragya was in her room, crying and remembering the moments she had with abhi, she was hoping for a miracle that would prove her innocent before she signed the paper but nothing happend. pushing her face in her pillow, she cried for abhi, and their intimate moment. she remembered when he almost got intimate with her and she wanted to cherish that. she knew it was stupid to think he would love her, yet she still had hope.
Ashamed and hurt she got up and walk to the window to get fresh air, the wind blowing on her hair whipping the tears from her face. i'm making everyone worried, i have to stop this. mam can't know about the divorce, she might have a heart attack. i have to act like nothing happend to protect abhi and mam. she thought looking at the moon one last time before going to the door and open it. I have to move on with my life, no more abhi. no more pain, or suffering, it will be better this way. she thought
