I think i know why you right so seldom. Because when you do, you ensure to control your readers attention, have them fully engorssed and make sure they feel every damn emotion.

Everything you wrote about Abhi expressing his lack of trust in her, Pragya finally confronting him in the best possible way about everything that has gone wrong in their relationship...i think you understand these characters the best on this forum.

And, i think i found an answer to this one question almost everyone raises on this forum...that why does Pragya take all the crap of this meaningless marriage? Simply because she genuinely married him! Oblivious of all the revenge drama and every bit of misunderstanding. Loved your explanation of what is keeping her in this marriage and her being attracted to this weirdest man of all mankind.

If anyone wants to really understand why Pragya and Abhi do what they do on the show...they should read your write-ups. Most of the things on the show, suddenly start making sense.

PS. I NEVER wanted AbhiGya to consummate their marriage without Abhi realizing how much wrong he has done to Pragya and also making up for it all. Thank you for keeping that intact. 😳

OMG, that's a huge compliment, Saara. Thank you so much for the kindness!

I just think a lot of times, some of us question these characters because we wouldn't do what they did if we were in their position. It's perhaps easier to empathize with them if we let them be what they are and understand their choices.

So that way, Pragya's falling in love in totally understandable for me. She fell for Suresh too even more easily. She is the weaker one here when it comes to love.

On the other hand, Abhi is not weak for romantic love.. but he is the weaker one in general with emotions. He is merely driven by them and does everything based on what he feels impulsively. I guess that explains a lot of his OTT reactions.

Tia!! So many things to love about this fanfic! So let me go through them one by one:

"But when I married you, I married like any regular girl getting into an arranged marriage, a little afraid, a little nervous but happy too. "
So perfectly describes Pragya's attitude. Like someone else said, you are one of the most insightful people in this forum who really understands the characters' motivations so well.

"And somewhere in the middle of that long kiss, he felt it. He didn't know if it was the emotions he was feeling or the way she was hesitantly but sweetly responding, he had found a clear answer to one question that had bothered him. He had known she was his. To think of it, he did not care if she was a virgin, nor did he care if she had loved a man before, all he wanted was her to be his and the kiss told him she was absolutely his.

And she had found her answers too. Her unreasonable faith in him and in their marriage had suddenly felt right. He wasn't punishing her for supposedly being with another man nor was he in a hurry to invade her body to make sure she was untouched, but he seemed to be cherishing every moment of their closeness with utmost care."

Beautiful passage! I especially like how Abhi no longer cares whether she is a virgin or not, whether she has had someone before or not. The hypocrisy when the man is experienced but expects the girl to be a virgin is a pet peeve of mine so I was happy to see this. I was also happy to see earlier Abhi say that there is no way to "prove" virginity - if only society at large understood this :(

"He did not deserve to take pleasure from her although she seemed willing to give her everything to him. He needed to earn that on his own although he couldn't figure out how." So lovely! In my headcanon Abhi has a lot of groveling to do before they can consumate their marriage. I love how unselfish he is here in pleasuring her, it shows his true remorse.

And I LOVE how it ends. Finally they manage to communicate! Fantastic job Tia and I'm excited to hear more from you!

Thought I was the only one thinking like this, but I always knew that was the reason ... her marriage was real for her ... and then there was her respect and feelings for her elders!!! ... you see despite being modern, am also old fashioned 😕 !!!!

Yep, although she is highly educated, she is still the old fashioned TV soap heroine.

Thank you so much putturani.
I did want to make a point about "proof" or virginity and the man in the fic not caring about it. So happy you noticed.
