at least Abhigya even though there is no movement in their relationship...they have their own sweet nhok-jhok and moments but for Rabul...its only pain...crying...angst...its been ages since seeing them...happy...smiling...romantic...purab has completely lost his smile...he is so lonely and living life like a devdas minus alcohol...and I miss our old BB who lives life to fullest...very chirpy and full of energy...
when it comes to Rabul...I really miss the old charm...the office track...
I wish the office track comes back...those golden moments of Rabul in the office was precious and special

they have so many KMH in their love story

abhi
aaliya
sarla
dadi
pragya (due to sarla's nonsense)
suresh
BB (family...pragya...abhigya...sarla...family)

is there anyone I miss...list it down 😆

I can never be like Purab in my real life - Arjit Taneja

11 Oct 2014 11:50 AM | TellychakkarTeam

Arjit Taneja moved from Delhi to Mumbai at the tender age of 19, on the lookout for interesting career prospects. After being seen on TV for the first time in Channel V's The Serial, the young lad bagged the plump offer of playing Purab in Balaji Telefilms' Kumkum Bhagya for Zee TV.

Well, after a fruitful journey of nearly six months, the actor feels he has achieved a lot and has gotten better as an actor.

Expressing his pleasure of being part of the popular show, Arjit tells us, "My Kumkum Bhagya journey has been amazing, with my character having seen a lot of ups and downs. My character started on a very different note, wherein he was the happy-go-lucky guy, and now you can only see him crying. So it is really cool to play so many different shades. Of course, it gives me a new high to be associated with the #1 show. And it is fun to work with actors like Shabbir Ahluwalia, Shikha Singh, Sriti Jha, Mrunal Thakur etc."

Ask him about the major plus point of the show, and he says, "Ekta Kapoor shows will always click as she has the power to do the right stuff. Also, if you look at Shabbir in the show, he has a very good connect with the audience. Everything about him is so very good. When I sit at home watching the episodes, I fall in love with Shabbir's character instantaneously. Also, the show had to run as there are only positive vibes on our set."

Arjit has seen a remarkable improvement in himself as an actor. "I was pretty new when I got the role of Kumkum Bhagya. I had shot for one month for Vikas Gupta's The Serial, and that's the experience I had. However, my director and co-actors in Kumkum Bhagya gave me tremendous support. Everyday has been a learning curve for me, and now I have reached a phase wherein I know what I need to do as Purab. I have started improvising on my lines, and am settled in the character. As for the graph of the character, Purab earlier shared a great equation with Abhi. He was his manager and confidante. Later, Bulbul came into the office and they had all the nok-jhok possible. I would say Purab has matured with time, but I can never be Purab in my personal life."

Arjit is excited because his character is a typical lady's' boy. "I have got every girl in the show till now (laughs). Aaliya wants me, while Abhi felt I am in love with Pragya and the guy is in love with Bulbul. Only Tanu needs to be taken now (smiles). And I need to tell you, working with all these ladies has been fantastic. Sriti has been very nice, supportive and is an amazing actor. She is probably the best in TV today."

Ask him about the one actor he looks up to, and pat comes the answer. "It has to be Shabbir Ahluwalia. He is too good; the way he improvises his scenes are remarkable. His one liners in the show are always impromptu and I just love the way he performs. Off the screen, he is a typical rockstar. I would say he is tailor-made for the role. He is chilled out, makes everyone around him comfortable. He keeps everyone in a jovial mood with his conversations. If you see, his chemistry with every character in the shows comes out good. This is only possible when you have a great rapport with your co-stars and Shabbir manages to do that."

Here, Arjit lets out a fact, basically a destiny's play. "I was just 19 years old when I came from Delhi to Mumbai. I was auditioning for everything, when I got a call for an audition for Pavitra Rishta for a post leap character. However, when I went there, I ended up auditioning for their upcoming show, Kumkum Bhagya too. So you can say I was destined to get this role."

Ask him about his long-term goals and he gives us a clear thought. "Films, all the way. I am now 21 years old, and have a lot of time. I wanted to do TV to get the mode of acting. Yes, TV has a huge audience, but I definitely want to do films. That's my goal and I am working towards it."

Arjit, we wish you all the luck!

@anam...TFS for the interview...at last something abt arju/purab...a very interesting interview...

I just love this guy...the immense respect he gives to shabbir-sriti...infact he worships them...I completely agree with arju abt shabbir-sriti...shabbir in real life is very jovial and chilled out while sriti is the best in TV...I just love her expressions...and Arnal loves her so much...including me

it seems like arju is a big fan of abhi...

the hilarious part is...he can't be purab in real life...noone can be actually...purab kind of gems are rare found in real life especially being faithful and loyal to the women they love...but somehow I feel through interviews...tweets...pics...arjit and purab are similar in some ways...especially the importance of friendship and family part...purab values friendship and family so does arjit...his tweets...his pics with friends and family shows the person he is...

"ladies boy"...indeed he is one and true...aaliya wants him...even though to save BB...pragya did pretend that she loves purab...he is in love with BB...only tannu is left...but sorry to break arju's heart...she is taken by abhi...it seems like he is a darling to all the beautiful ladies of KKB...shikha..sriti..madhurima...mrunal...he shares a great rapport with all the ladies and they adore him too...I would love to add charu(purvi) too

his acting skills has been improved tremendously...that when purab cries...it pains our heart...

arju confess that he watches KKB during his off days... 😆 ...I hope he sees the mess that KKB is going through and convey the message to cvs morons...

god bless KKB sets and the off-screen bonding of all the co-stars...they are one big family...

thanx ekta for not selecting arjit for PR otherwise I got an headache...she did the perfect selection for KKB...handsome and dashing...Mr Purab Khanna

Arjit's interview was nice, finally got something about him after ages. I'll be more happy when there is a proper Q & A interview of him but this was also good, at least we got something.
Arjit is nothing like Purab and it's good that he also knows that. Very often actors say they are similar to their onscreen characters but when you see them offscreen they are totally different. In fact I was telling someone Arjit and Purab are 2 very very different people. Purab is almost a perfect sort of guy and Arjit still has a lot of growing up to do.

Arjit is extremely fond of Shabir and that's been evident right from his first interview. The way he speaks about Shabir shows how much he respects him as well as Sriti. Shabir is a good guy to have as a role model and it's at Arjit's age it's nice for him to have the influence of someone like Shabir.
Arjit also knows that all he's doing these days is crying and even if he doesn't enjoy it he can't say it out because KKB has given him a lot. I'm glad he was not a part of PR, the show had become an absolute mess & there would be even less focus on his character than over here in KKB. KKB still has a little more time before it reaches that stage of becoming an absolute mess. Arjit still got a lot more experience, screen space and recognition as Purab than he would ever get in PR.

Arjit still has a long way to go as an actor but it's good if he is gaining a certain amount of confidence, it's going to help him in future as long as he keeps his head on his shoulders.

I wish there was something specific about Mrunal but it's ok. I think the order in which he mentioned his co stars is actually in order of whom he gets along best with. And as usual Arjit's interview is incomplete without mentioning Tannu😆 If Madhurimma has to leave the show, Arjit will be really upset.
