Somehow I feel I am living through Bade Acheche Lagete Hain earlier days.. when RK and PK used to fight got married because of arrangement, RK doing everything for his sister etc etc... Now I hear Pragya is going to do a drunk act this too sounds all too familiar.. I guess history keeps repeating on TV shows

This bad boy-good girl (sort of, in this soap) or opposites attract stories are evergreen. And I think KKB has a different treatment to the whole thing, so I am alright so far.

Yes. Lot of similarities with balh. Poor girl. Rich boy. Unmarried older sis and the younger one prettier. Couple fighting like cats and dogs. Hero getting married to the girl he doesn't like becoz of his sis. Also pragyas dadi was rams mom in balh. And now the drunk scen e.

don't get me wrong, I am also enjoying the show so far. However, I feel the sillyness they are depicting (Specially last eapisode yesterday) every now and then can easily be avoided and they can show a polished drama and move on with story.

I haven't watched BALH, so I'm alright with the story. I'm sure had I watched it and didn't want to see the same again, I would be a little irritated with the repetition and lack of creativity.

Oh gosh I didn't really know if I should reply partly because it's 4:30 in the morning & I might not put what ever is goin' on in my head into words well but don't mind me 😆 it's just that I don't exactly know what u mean by silliness like I admit this show is funny but I gotta admit it has good quality humor. It's the opposite of most of Ekta's Zee shows which are overall serious shows & one doesn't even feel like letting out a chuckle while watching them but I am glad KB is not like these past works of hers because I really don't like Indian serials that are so serious like that. I can see why someone would want the story of KB to go at a faster pace though, like come to think of it, pretty much nothing has progressed w/Abhya since Abhi revealed to Pragya that he's gonna make her life hell. He still doesn't know the truth w/the Purab situation & neither of them have fallen for eachother.

Ok I will have to once again bring the BALH analogy. In spite of all the fights and arguments, the leading pair were always shown to be 'polished' and 'classy'. No slapstickness there. Here while the Heroine is shown to be almost perfect... Abhi is often coming out as a "joker" which I don't expect in a lead. Some "buffoonary" I think can be easily avoided. I really didn't like one bit Abhi trying to twist and turn Pragya during the dance so much and to prove what? That is to me is downright silliness. But like I said I am still enjoying the show as it is based on age old trusted theme and will always be interesting.
