Lets write a story round 3! Fairytale :p - Page 3

Abruptly, Shourya woke up from his sleep panting and slightly perspiring. Curse these horrid dreams! Now that I've Niyati, why do I keep getting these nightmares about Agni? Maybe because I'm scared he threatened me. Shourya got up from his bed, took a gulp from the glass of water next to him, and walked to the window. It was a clear night, with the stars shining and the full moon reflecting majestically in the lake below. What could Agni be planning? This was the same question that kept Shourya bothered and nervous every moment. He returned back to his bed, closed his eyes and dozed off to sleep once again, still thinking the same thoughts........

A fuming Agni arrived at his castle, and without speaking to anyone, went upstairs to his room. He stopped at his door, turned around and spoke quite sternly to the crowd of servants below, "Do not disturb me tonight for any reason. Is that clear?". "Yes sire", everyone said unanimously. With that, Agni went inside and locked his door. He dressed into his night clothes, laid down on his bed, thought over what he was about to do, closed his eyes, and finally went to sleep. Meanwhile, downstairs the servants were worried about their Prince. "Whats wrong with him? I dont think I've seen him this angry before", a maid asked. "Who knows? Lets just get back to work and not disturb him", another maid said. With that everyone returned to their work.

The night was still young and calm, but not everyone was having ease in their sleep. At one hand, Prince Agni slept with confidence and Shourya slept with unease. The only one sleeping peacefully in her house was Niyati, who had no care in the world. It would seem like that 'apple' had worked its charm, but for how long? Will she ever return to her beloved Agni? Only time will tell.....

Niyati suddenly wakes up from her sleep, and feels tht something is missing, she feels a strange unusual lonliness around her,but she did'nt give it so much importance and went back to sleep,she saw a dream.............

Next Day

A knock is heard on the door. Niyati opens the door to find Shourya standing. "How are you doing this morning?", he asks her lovingly. "I'm good. Come in", Niyati replies. "No, lets go out for a walk. Its a beautiful day today", Shourya says pointing out towards the sky. "Alright", Niyati walks out behind him and locks the door.

Prince Agni wakes up from his sleep and dresses up. Meanwhile a maid comes in and cleans up his bed.

"Good morning sire", the maid says.

"There's nothing good about this or any other morning", Agni replies gruffly.

"Someone's waiting for you downstairs in the study. He says its important".

"Who is it?", Agni contemplates as to who might come this early in the morning.

"Dont know. But he doesnt look like someone from this area", the maid said as she finished up cleaning Agni's bedroom.

"Fine. Tell him I'll meet him after breakfast. If he has the patience, then he'll wait", Agni walks out of his room and downstairs towards the breakfast table.

Shourya and Niyati are outside walking through the Royal Rose Gardens which are open to the public. Every now and then they would stop and admire the Rose and its intoxicating scent. However, Shourya kept glancing back at the Castle, which loomed high over the Gardens. He had a feeling that they were being watched and he was afraid of who was watching them.

"Lets go already, I'm tired", Niyati yelled at Shourya. He turned around and seemed surprised that Niyati had already walked far ahead of him. "Alright, lets go", with one last glance at the Castle, Shourya started chasing Niyati back home.

Their laughter and screams of joy could be heard in the Castle. A figure standing by the window, watched Shourya and Niyati walk through the Gardens and now running back home.

"Breakfast is ready sire", a servant appeared at the door.

"I'm coming", relied an angry voice with bitterness in his every word.

Agni turned around and walked out of the door towards his chair where he sat down to eat. All through breakfast he couldnt forget Niyati's happy face and how she enjoyed Shourya's company. When breakfast was over, Agni cleaned himself and stood up.

"Its time to visit the guest. Tell him I'll be there in five minutes", Agni ordered a servant.

"Yes sire", the servant replied as he hurriedly went off to the Study room.

Agni walked along the corridor and reached the Study. He opened the door and was shocked to find the person waiting for him.

"Hello Prince Agni. How are you?", the person asked gently with a smile on his face.

And all Agni could reply was, "You!".

"Yes. it is I your beloved cousin Rajveer.."
Why are you afraid to see me.. and from what the servants tells me you have been a real a** since morning.. Tell me cousin... why this sudden change of mood... last time i left you you could do nothing but talk about your beloved niyati.. i wanted to kill myself seeing you two love birds all lovey dovey!! .. and now this!!.. what's wrong with ya..:"

Agni: i dont wnat to talk about it.. what are you doing here.. i thought vikram uncle took you to Rathord Town to look for a KULVADDHU for you.. wha thappened did you find one.."

RV: Yea.. you know daddy's choose.. the more momey she has the more she is likely to be my wife. if it was up to him i would be marrying a giraffe as long as she has property and LOTS and LOTS of money!!>.

Agni half listened to him.. he could not concentrate.. all he could think about is think of niyati and shourya.. together.. doing all those things that he use to do with niyati!! 😳..

RV keeps on talking and yapping something about the weather and girls.. when eh realized that his cousin is not paying any attention to him!>.

RV says..

ok..you continue.. i think the story was getting a little sad what with revenage.. so use RV for some comic relief..

Rajveer asks Agni, "What's up? Where you lost at?". Agni gets startled from his deep thoughts and looks at RV and answers, "Nothing. So why have you come here?".

RV laughs and answers, "Can't I come and visit my beloved cousin? Why do you always suspect me of wrongdoing?". Agni knew that RV never goes to anyone unless he has something to ask for or wants something. Agni didn't reply and kept staring at his greedy, good for nothing cousin, which made RV uber uncomfortable because even he knew that Agni isnt the sort of person to mess around with.

"I dont want to marry anyone! And I cant make Vikram Uncle understand. He says that I've been putting off marriage for quite a long time and now its time that I should get married. Everyone is taking his side. No ones willing to stand by me. Thats why I came to you. You are the only one who could talk to him and make him understand. He will definitely listen to you. I knew you would be on my side. It was jus.....", RV kept ranting on and on while Agni looked at him angrily.

"SHUTUP!", RV stops mid sentence looking confused at Agni. "Whatever made you think that I'll talk to Vikram Uncle for you? I've much more important business to attend to than your silly little squabbles. Sort it out yourself and leave me alone", Agni starts to walk towards the door, when RV shocks Agni.

"Vikram Uncle wont be happy to hear that you are still in love with Niyati even after he warned you to break off the relationship or else he will have to cut you from his Will and take away all the property you own", a wicked smile spread on RV's face as Agni turned around to face him. "Imagine how furious he will be when he comes to find this out. But no one knows this except for me", RV kept looking straight into Agni's eyes while speaking.

Agni's face turned red with anger as he walked towards RV and grabbed his collar, "You conniving little ******!! How dare you?!".

"Now, now dearest cousin you shouldn't worry. You dont expect me to spill the beans, do you? You can trust me wholeheartedly, but if you dont help me, then I wont be able to help you. Its all fair in love and war Agni", RV took Agni's hands off him and walked towards the window. "Now what will your answer be? I wont leave without it".

Agni knew that his Uncle didnt like Niyati at all because she didnt belong to a Royal family nor was she rich. But, despite his warnings Agni had kept the relationship because he truly loved Niyati and wanted to marry her. However, Agni knew that as much as he loved Niyati, he also wanted to be part of the Will or else he wont get anything and everything might go to RV, which he refused to let it happen. Agni saw no other choice.

"Alright, I'll speak to him on your behalf. But be warned, one word you utter about Niyati and me to him, forget your marriage. I'll kill you with my own bare hands", Agni spoke so menacingly that he was shaking.

"Ah thats the spirit Agni! I'm so happy that at least one person in the family is with me. Well I'll be off now. The day is young and beautiful, why spend it in here?", RV was smiling broadly as he opened the door. He turned around before he left, "And you be warned too, Agni. One mistake and I'll ruin yours and Niyati's lives both". The door clicked and Agni stood there watching it.

Why must I always get the thorns in my path?!
