meet the new me: Akashdeep Saigal

Akashdeep 'Ansh' Saigal went unrecognised at a party hosted at Kabbana by music-video director Shenazz recently (Saigal plays a model wooing singer Sharon Prabhakar in a music video for her new album Dilruba). Not surprising, since he's been sporting a newly cropped look. Although there have been mixed reactions to his 'sober appearance', Akash is confident that gradually viewers will "get over my nasty Ansh hangover".

Meanwhile, the scene-stealer at the party was Sharon's daughter Shazahn. She's into event management and plans to go the US for a course in filmmaking. "Strangely, my dad (ad guru Alyque Padamsee ) is not too keen that I pursue modelling, but I've been getting quite a few offers for commercials," says Shazahn.
