There are certain changes in the original story which is now in the form of a dialogue .

Yes. I just turned some of her thoughts into conversations.

Dr.Ashutosh meets Nidhi in Kgh after 2 years and remembers the reason for their separation--his pushing her out of his life citing their age difference of 15 years.

His trying to findout about her from the orphanage from where she brought the patient that he is still in love and wants to know her well being. Having come to know of her completion of Pg and her continuous association with the orphanage makes him feel proud of her achievements.

A nice start for a lovely story.

Thank you Jayasreeji. yes, he successfully avoided finding info about her for two years. But now he has seen her and can't resist his desire to know more.

chapter two

Dr. Ranganath and Dr. arman are finding ways to bring Ashu and Nidhi together and finding that they are shot of staff hire Dr.Nidhi's services for 6 weeks. Dr.ashutosh on his return finds out that Nidhi is working there and god has offered a second chance to try and hold on to happiness whose key is in Nidhi's hands.

yes. but he thinks it is still temporary. That he would be able to let her go at the end of those 6 weeks.

When Nidhi wanted to quit he shows the trump card of unprofessionalism and stops her.

The best part of this chapter is Ashutosh's surprise on knowing that Nidhi has done her PG in neurology.I just loved it and felt as if i am witnessing the scene.

Yes. I know that was a surprise for a lot of readers and also to Ashutosh. He assumed since she loves kids, she would be a Paed.

Waiting to see what our guardian angels plot to bring them together.

Chapter Four

Ranganath convinces Anji to bring Nidhi to the party given in the honour of US doctors and anji with great reluctance agrees.Arman with the help of Ranji manipulates the whole scene and requests asutosh to drop Nidhi home.

Well... both of them talking at the party is an impossibility given their stance, right? so they put them in the forced confines of a car to get some results. and it worked too

ashutosh is shocked to know that Nidhi no more stays with her Baba and the circumstances lea ding to that. He was shocked to know that Nidhi sacrificed her happiness, family and refused her engagement with Rohan who according to ashutosh is an ideal life partner for Nidhi., as she loves him and continues to do so.

the punch line is--"Why do you care sir? They are probably just impulsive acts of an immature girl fifteen years your junior."

Believe me Jayasreeji.. it used to grate on my nerves whenever he or Mallika used to utter that word - Immature. 😡 The way Ashu behaved post marriage, HE deserved to be called that. Not Nidhi.

chapter Five

This chapter does a balancing act between serious issues and hilarious conversation.

This story in itself is a serious one. So added humor to balance things a little. Glad you all enjoyed and liked it.

It starts with ashutosh's introspection. He is happy that Nidhi is still madly in love with him and that he was biased then and pushed her away having been influenced by Mallika. He regrets it and finds ways to regain Nidhi's trust.

yes. Hindsight is 6*6

Nidhi goes to ashu to submit her resignation and the dialogues there in his cabin are really funny.

Ashu thanks Ranganath for posting Nidhi as his assistant in opd and

by saying that you should not kick people under the table hints to arman that he knows what both Arman and Ranga are upto.

And gives his approval too. He knows he can't win this battle without help.

The Icu scene again brings forth how they complement each other and work as a team. Nidhi's assurance to the parents of the patient that Dr. Ashutosh is not one of the best but the BEST shows her immense faith in him as a doctor.

true. In tense situations, the heart of the matter or the truth comes out .

ashu takes the Raja titli story forward and says that raja left titli as he wants Titli to be happy.

Loved this long and very well balanced chapter Suvikaji.

Nidhi is afraid of believing ashu's words as she is afraid of rejection again. On the other hand ashutosh is worried as 5days of opd are over and Nidhi will be working with some one else as he does not know as what is conspiring behind his back.

yes. and he also not seeing any signs of softening in her. now HE fears HER rejection.

Arman and ranga's manipulating ways with Dr.bhargav are too good and finally Nidhi is again teamed up with ashu.

😆 there is nothing these two won't do.

nidhi's reaction to her Ashuji's injury shows her concern and love for him.

Ashu's accepting the invitation to attend the orphanage's annual day and his convincing Nidhi that he too would help in getting the children ready for the performances and reminding her that once he was also an inmate shows his longing to spend time with her. Poor fellow is really trying hard.

Yeah. but two years can't be wiped away so fast. Nearly three years if you count the time she was with him yet didn't have his trust.
