Let me go two steps back and take off from interesting bits of the previous chap as well.. Mallika insisting on being a part of Delhi trip and being told off..I mean seriously..people are going for work not some leisure trip that she has to tag along..although leisure trip mein double resistance hota😆..

loved arman for the way he snapped at her..only he could have done that..

Oh yeah.. I love this guy.

Coming back to this chapter..

Nidhi although is sure about it this time, and has made her mind to accept HER man with open arms, but still talking to Anji again puts light on the sisterly bond she shares..that urge to discuss most important events of one's life with dearest person, who better than you( and suku) to understand this feeling.. wanting her friend's opinion and their convo was so sombre and sweet..

true..friends are sounding boards, advisers and naggers too. ❤️

Now the highlight of the chap..Ashu-Nidhi..coming together of these two..can't even write in words what it made me feel..their longing, apprehensions, love and most of all the PAIN these two have endured and let themselves suffer for the past two years..all these emotions came to the fore one after the other..Mingled with each other and took away all the misery in one stroke or shall I say one HUG..And what remained thereafter was SHEERBLISS...And they let their hearts revel under the effect of this pious feeling, away from all evil(read Mallika)... Marvellous part in deed... Wished time would have stood still for them...kaash...

MALLIKA IS NOT EVIL!! 😡 😡 😡

And yeah it was interesting the way you steered the story to Ashu's room 😆.. especially Nidhi and Ashu were left alone with Dr. Sunil's approval🤣..hatke idea..otherwise others' always act as kabab mein haddi😆..

I thought and thought about this. How to send her there without the act being preplanned or deliberate. I didn't want either of them to initiate that on their own. It would have been too cliche.

Back to KGH.. I liked Ranga teasing Ashu..that bit was fun but missed Arman there..

He will come. Don't worry. 😆

Mallika and Nidhi working together was good for a change..but the calm behind Mallika's stand is I guess she has already played her card..spreading the gossip or indeed maybe by plotting that Kiran..Shrewd lady I tell you(both)..

No. She did not plot anything. In that scene, she was genuinely albeit reluctantly impressed with Nidhi's professional skills. She is a doctor above everything. And she came to KGH AFTER the gossip had already taken root. So what is there to plot? But yes, she did take advantage of the situation.

Mallika tries to influence Ashu by feigning concern for Nidhi's career and reputation and is too full of herself that she feels that again she has struck gold..but I believe she's gonna be in for a shock..this Ashu is different lady..

You sure about that, huh?? 😉😆

Nidhi got a big boost o confidence from Rohan the previous evening. Yet it's so natural to want that reassurance before taking that big decision. And in her case there is only Anji who knows her history and to whom she can confide without fear, It's a very nice friendship, very sisterly, one that has withstood the test of time. anji understood why Nidhi called, what she said and unsaid and what she wanted to know from Anji. exactly. And she loves her baba..looks up for his approval and this info by Anji gives her the boost. And the courage to take the next step.

Anji also tells Nidhi what's in her mind, how she feels about Ashu. Both know the risk Nidhi will be taking but also know that he was the only one who could give Nidhi all the happiness in life, bring back the smile she lost. So Anji is right, this is Nidhi's one chance at happiness but the risk of her break down if it failed is greater.

True. She has seen Nidhi in tatters the previous time so is worried about the fact that another setback will blow her friend to smithereens.

At the same time as she hears Nidhi give her POV about Ashu now, hears what Rohan has to say she slowly becomes more comfortable, but still assured Nidhi that she will be there for her. As for Nidhi as she extrapolated Ashu's qualities now, she herself gained more confidence and even determination to face Mallika and not back off. While talking to Anji, maybe even she saw Ashu's changed attitude towards Mallika more clearly, another confidence booster that maybe Ashu was finally seeing the truth behind his friend's faade...

yes. trust is a funny thing na. doing it the first time is always easier and faster. but thats broken once and rebuilding it again takes a lot of time and effort from both sides.

But then, so soon it all happened! Thanks to our gentleman in distress, Dr. Sunil! But I'm sure neither he nor Nidhi, who ran in her PJs stopped to think how it will appear! And thank God! What a scene... right from their reactions on seeing the un-groomed side of each other, which by the way both read perfectly to later, after Sunil's departure from there... finally Ashu literally begged to hold Nidhi close! Poor man, has been holding himself in control so that he does not frighten Nidhi. So Nidhi saved the day and their presentation!

Yeah. I don't think even Nidhi knew how much he had been holding back until that point.

With that out of the way, they finally focused on the situation. He walks away, knowing staying in the same room and holding his emotions was impossible especially when all he wanted was to hug her! but her "Ashuji" is like saying "I love you, please hold me!" and he melts.

Yup. That whole scene was like a flow. I never stopped to think or ponder anything. Just went with the flow. Glad it came out well. 😳

But he gets his green signal too! What a beautiful scene, both not so much as expressing with words as through their actions, their need to be close to each other. Words of love are not needed but words of assurance are... he needs to hear that she will not go away even if he tells her and she needs to hear that he trusted her and will not tell her something like that. loved that a lot... and also loved his restraint when one can feel that all he wanted was to not let her go. At the same time his display of restraint will help boost Nidhi's trust and confidence in him, knowing he is looking out for her well being.

Correct. That is what I felt too.

A quick change of scene now... so we are to assume all went well in Delhi and the successful team is back.

😆 Yes. You all already know the case. So why repeat it again?? 😉😛

Ashu and Nidhi have succeeded on the personal front too and it is reflected more in his abstracted demeanor whereas Nidhi is able to maintain a calmer faade. For the first time his heartstone exterior cracked. But what a vicious attack by the nosy Dr. Kiran and MAllika is ther to enjoy the ride. Guess she does not have to do except fan the flame of doubt in Ashu...

Correct. And it worked fabulously the previous time.. didn't it??

At least that's her plan but she does not realize that in the last two years Ashu has thought long and hard and is now more confident and more than ready to grab the chance Destiny brought to his doorstep. One good thing is all this happened after Nidhi did her duty, so that gave her an added self-assurance to speak her mind, not harshly but just to lay out a few points and not drop her poise!

Yes. she is confident professionally and slowly gaining her footing in her personal life too. And that comes out in her behavior.

So how will he react to all the vile allegations? Nidhi has shown her devil may care attitude in her firm, heartstone manner... now it's his turn. He has seen Nidhi;s reaction, that should give him a boost definitely... What will he do? Listen to Mallika who is playing on his former insecurities or follow Nidhi's lead and maintain his new found strength and behave appropriately?

Indeed that was the scariest Operation I ever read! Good god, brain surgery along with C-section 😲and loved the way you described the whole procedure with Nidhi helping Ashu and in the end they came out with flying colors by saving both lives👏👏👏 ...

It was scary for me also. I tried watching the brain surgery on YouTube. 🤢

And Now Ashu want to amend his mistakes but he is not sure from where he should start , he want to talk to her but he scared as in how she will react and very clearly one can see Nidhi's pain , I can feel how insecure she was/is ...he had made her feel so insecure and small by not trusting her , by always choosing mallika over her , yes he did that but he want to amend his mistakes ...but how can Nidhi trust him based on his wrds...what is the guarantee that he will not hurt her once again,??😕

Yes. I guess that was the main thing that i hated in KTLK. The way she ditched and joined her profession as if it were some regular office or a desk job (please no offense to anyone). She is a doctor for God's sake! I come from a med family. I saw my sis going to hospital for her duty when she was full term pregnant and again joining duty when the baby was a month old. So i guess I am compensating for that in this story.

Well the common branch of their profession helps Ashu a little here. He has the experience and she has the zeal. Combine both and one wall is broken down. at least temporarily.

But let me tell you I LOVE the dialogues of Nidhi before leaving the car...some times I think Nidhi contributed to all this non-sense of AshMal foolishness...she was not brave enough to cut them...

True. I agree with you there. Although why Ashutosh couldn't use his own head instead of borrowing Mallika's is also a mystery to me.
