Chapter 6 Review

Wow, what an end to this chapter... a skeleton on the bed that was covered but its eyes and jaw moved... a moving skeleton! 😆

I thought that was obvious. The skeleton moved because of the insects that had made it their home. But in a dark stormy night and in illumination provided by a torch...

Nice mystery you a building up... pseudo horror, and I like it. I used to love mysteries, action, murders when I was younger, so I am enjoying this tale...

And Ashni... a cat! just a cat! I had imagined you would say something like a snake lying in a basket in the corner stirred or something... that would have freaked me out a lot, but a cat! 😆 Though the description of the at, the green eyes is lovely, it all adds to the eerie feeling. So Nidhi wants to leave because of a cat! 😆 And then they reach the house with Varadarajan fooling them into a false sense of security... good! 👍🏼

A cat, a black cat would have added to the scare quotient, so put it there. ANd in the darkness, the glowing eyes...that are the only thing visible!

Now, who hit the detective... guess that is part of the mystery now. Is it that elusive watchman? And the thing with the door that was first locked and then somehow just opens... nice touch there, definitely added to the fear factor and goes so well with a mystery. 😛

All the mysteries are solved in the epilogue.

And Mallika, with all her false bravado thinking if Masukhani was better or Dadlani was hilarious even in that situation!

ISnt that again obvious? she is a teenager, a college student, rich man's spoilt kid, who fell for Mansukhani, who is practically nothing? She is going to have second thoughts about the entire thing soon..

Now, two things, where you manage to imbibe scientific descriptions in your narrative... one where you describe Varadarajan sneezing and second Mansukhani's reaction to the skeleton is truly a 'Sagi' touch! Honestly, this is something I cannot write. I really enjoy reading them...
