This story is quite a delight, particularly for its the chirpy-chirpy Mallika(for a change) and the retentive Ashu!. Written with a flair for garnishing even the most abject of circumstances with humor. Wonderful. .

So Ashu needs transforming…….

Neither has he asked about why my ring is missing from my finger, nor did he notice my new dress, and now, he doesn't even realize why I cooked this. God, did I imagine last night's events? He is behaving simply as if nothing happened.

He is yet to be sure about his feelings for Mallika!But his attraction towards Nidhi was instant ( am not speculating anything , wud wait for the story to progress), I guess AshMal relationship is not going to be simple!

Being friends was so easy, being engaged was a different thing altogether, how was he going to manage

Yesterday, when you and Baba insisted, I thought, let me take the plunge, phir dheere dheere, we will develop our relationship and .. I thought we are such good friends – that should be a starting point, the rest will follow.
This extract shows Ashu needs time to take his friendship to the next level…

However , together they are perfect for each other. Mallika is the pure soul, full of life and she manages to bring out the friendly side of Ashu( I hope she manages to bring out the love too, that he's never been able to show ,atleast not for Mallika).

She replied with a blush, "why do we need another spoon?" and handed him the same spoon.

N Mallika wearing the ring close to her heart…….i was deeply touched by that gesture……simply beautiful. I hv actually started loving this Mallika.

They have fun, they laugh . I loved how playful they were together and how they were always able to completely be their selves around each other. The 'Halwa' episode clearly etches out the comfort of their friendly relationship.

The trio share a lovely frndship……honest ,adaptable , supportive ,trust worthy.

So Mr. Solanki wud b introducing Ashu n Nidhi! Innovative , very diff from the usual gooey style of first intro of the leading patragonists!

Nidhi Shyama relationship , again diff from the original track .Verma n DB not wanting Shyama to interfere in their daughter's life is very realistic.. The way in which the mother chooses to deal with the daughter can strengthen or weaken their future perspectives. I guess Verma realized it a bit too late!.

Hi Shirley..read d chapter..itz unique in the genus of FF in this forum...my heart went for Col verma's agony...u have succeeded in depicting it very realistically...however I am not fully convinced about Ashu's hesitancy to Mallika...I presume its not the prophesy...is it his gut feeling which says she is not his ideal partner...I am bit bemused😕...may be as the story proceeds u will give reasons for his lack of conviction...great attempt..and ur style of writing is captivating...enjoy ur vacation
