It takes a lot of courage to acknowledge the truth without allowing your thinking to be clouded by personal prejudices...I know how fond you are of Mohnish Bahl...and yet, you have come out and acknowledged what Sharad has given to this show...what he means to the show...let me be honest...if I were Sharad Kelkar, this post would mean a lot more to me than any press interview of Rajan Shahi or Kamlesh Pandey or anybody else for that matter...to win a word of praise from an ardent fan of the actor you have replaced is no mean feat...and in achieving that, Sharad has proved what he has been and continues to be to the show...even now when the show is a blink away from wrapping up...he does not need to be called the heart or the soul or anything else..

I have already said a lot about Sharad Kelkar...so, I have nothing new to add...suffice to say that for me, he has been the one and only reason to watch the show...in a medium dominated by female characters, Ashutosh has created an impact that very few male Indian TV characters can rival...Savi from Hasratein and Kalyani from Udaan rank among my favourite characters on Indian TV...now, Ashutosh ranks up there with them...he is not perfect...in fact he is quite flawed...maybe that is why I love him so much...for me, Ashutosh as.a character defines soul and Sharad Kelkar has invested his soul in him...MB did a wonderful job to begin with. Sharad built on the foundations that he laid and created a character so beautiful that I am sure even MB would be pleased, the inane tracks notwithstanding...

Today, even when the show is wrapping up, he continues to put all his heart into his performance,..I can say unashamedly that I cried when I saw that smile on his face on hearing of his impending fatherhood...why do you think there is so much anger on the forum now against the CVs...it is only because they have destroyed a oved one's dream...this was what he so desperately wanted...and they are conspiring to deny him his wish till the end...I am sure the CVs must have been called multiple names by now...And people would be willing to shoot them at sight even...such is the resentment that has been roused...fuelled primarily and largely by the thought of Ashutosh's heartbreak...this man is one of us...like a family member...would we not react violently if someone tried to ruin the happiness of someone so near to us...this reaction is just that..!

Anyway, Sharad Kelkar deserves every praise that comes his way...he is a fine and a committed actor who gives his 200 % to the character he plays...I will just say this in conclusion...if I were a filmmaker, Sharad Kelkar would be the only TV actor on my wish list...!

Thank you Sharad for bringing Ashutosh to life!
