Hi Dr. Rajeev and other forumites,

I recently lost my brother to pancreatic cancer. The prognosis was 3 weeks at best since it was discovered. This was what the experts at Sloan, and Mayo told us. With prayers, a very positive attitude from all around him he made it to 18 months. And he lived as complete a life as possible for these 18 months, he worked almost every day, went out for small dinners and met and entertained friends at home. I am not saying there were no setbacks in the 18 months, we made a number of trips to the ER and got numerous scares over the 18 month period, but he and we moved on, after making small life style changes.

And during this entire time the banter, ff's and camaraderie on the forum kept me going😃

So, please keep praying not only for Dr. Malvika but also for family and friends.

Bina...so true..i completely understand what you are saying...i lost my dad to brain tumour...it was stage 4 when it was diagnosed and he survived for 2 yrs after that. So..i am not giving up hope and neither is Doc's family...or this extended virtual family...and what you said is true...this forum is a world away from the world...🤗

aww ...sad to know that bina ...

but am sure he wouldnt have made it to precious 18 months without your all's prayers and support ..

and we all want to wish for our malvika as well...every single prayer and wish counts ...

Any idea how old her daughters are? They must be going through hell...Wish God gives them the strength and recover Malivika.
