A total emotional episode with excellent acting by all the three...
The outing and the celebration was too much of a strain for Baba and he fell sick again...then came up the question of surgery or no surgery again...For Ashu the fear of losing his Baba - the only person whom he knew as a "family" before Nidhi came, is so strong that he cannot think of taking a risk...He is only feeling that without surgery Baba may be with him for 6 months but what if the surgery is unsuccesful and he loses him earlier or worse still what if Baba is paralysed for the rest of his life...On the other hand Nidhi is hanging on to the hope that maybe 5% turns out to be 100%...Nidhi's idea to let Baba take the decision was the best in such a situation...and of course both agreed that they would not influence his decision making...
The scene where Ashni face baba and tell him that they know that he knows abt his illness was very good...The three of them were now free to express their grief in front of each other...for a few moments there was no dialogue - only the 3 of them crying together...and feeling the pain of each other...Neither one wants to see each other in pain and yet all were facing the worst time of their life at that time...
Baba was so disgusted with Dr Vincent...saara khel bigaad diya - stupid fellow he says...
The other thing I liked is when they were discussing abt the surgery...Baba being a doc was fully aware of the consequences and so it was easy for them to discuss freely abt the same...for some time it was 3 doctors discussing...Baba did not get emotional and deny the surgery idea...he only asked for time to decide...Once again proves that he really is a well balanced and logical person...He also stopped the argument between both his children on the matter of going home and put his foot down saying that it is his decsion and they should abide by it...
We know that Baba will be taken home now...We will have to see today's episode to know what he decides...
Dont know how long this track is to continue and in what way - but we have got to see very good performances by SK, KK & AN...Nidhi has proved to be rock solid at the time of crisis where as Ashu's fear of losing the person who has made him what he is today, has overpowered his professional thinking and has made him emotional...and it is Nidhi who time and again is bringing him back to face the reality...

Thanks for the analysis Kaks,I requested for it.Yesterday ,for me the performer of the day was Ashu, his scene with BB was truly heart breaking, the way he asks Aapko pata tha and then breaks down,it was brilliant.I have one question, like Ashu,Nidhi is also on the verge of loosing someone very close and she too is heart broken but we are yet to see Ashu comforting her, hope to see something like that.

Thanks...Iam not trying to justify Ashu's emotions...I can relate to him as I know what it is to lose your father...Have faced it...Your senses dont work and you tend to just be angry and helpless.. not everyone can be as strong as how Nidhi is being shown,,

Truly that scene was heart breaking..Ashni were looking at each other helplessly when Baba was crying...beauty of the scene was no words - yet the feelings of the 3 were visible...

Fab analysis Kaks. Ashu's decision was realistic. 5% chance is as good as no chance. He is very practical. Nidhi's nature is different. Its good to be positive but doesn't work always. Col Verma is matured to say no to Nidhi and Anjie.
I have taken practical decision for my Dad when I was just 16 and my Dad 42.. I lost him but there was no point in living with brain dead (due to hypoglycemia) Whereas my cousin took emotional decision and opted for amputation for her father (caused due to angioplasty and some bubble treatment) and he eventually died after a month with so much pain and trauma at the age 0f 75.
So I could relate yesterday's episode with reality in life.
