Cannot imagine how you must have pulled thru the pain at that time... Loss of father to a girl is incomparable to any loss in the world and indescribable too... Sorry to know abt yr Dad. I also lost my dad when I was 18 years old...It is actually a gamble when there is so less chance of success...If surgery is successful then it is a victory - on the other hand if it fails - it will be trauma for both the patient and the family...a very difficult situation - no one can be termed right or wrong here...
