As nidhi sank in her car seat , Sanjivani's words haunted her" yes I asked mansukhani to help me ….!" how can this be possible , how she miss something this big …There is no way she can forgive Ashuthosh for whatever he did , he is the reason for her baba's condition…its mixture of feeling , hurt, anger and what not hopelessness that Ashuthosh could do something like that …she wondered whether she will ever be able to look at him like she used to! .

Anjie who was looking at her silently spoke at last "yaar Nidhi, I don't think jijaji is wrong here …I mean look at this way …"

Nidhi cut her in between " Shut up anjie , stop defending him ….I don't think , I need any more explanation to understand who is wrong and who is not !"

Anjie just hit her head and thought "why on earth she tried to expose mallika …"

As anjie dropped her home, nidhi went straight to her bed room …..Both BB and HK were not there, so she went inside her bedroom and collapsed on her bed. , As sanjivani's words kept on haunting her, she felt like closing her eyes and never to get up again .Just then she heard heavy footsteps coming towards her bedroom…she know its Ashuthosh …who came running behind her but she don't know what she will do and how everything will be fine again ..Or ever will be! She wondered whether life is going to be just like before and again she did not had answer so she closed her eyes to block the tears which are collated in her eyes.

Ashuthosh stood near door way looking at her frail body; yes he asked sanjivani's to take that house from her using whatever way she can...but he don't know what and how she did it? he ever cared to ask that …when sanjivani's called him to tell that the girl is ready to sell that house , he did not wanted it !because by that time he realized that Nidhi is true owner …he went up to her and called her softly " Nidhi, Listen …I…"

Nidhi just shrugged her shoulder and got up averting her eyes away from him "Dr Ashuthosh …please leave me alone "She spoke controlling whatever she is feeling from inside …because she feared that she will say something which she might regret later

Ashu: Nidhi…I don't know any

Nidhi: I said leave me alone..I don't want to talk about it! Please …

Ashuthosh buried his face in his hands and knelt down in front of her "Nidhi….Please I can't see you like this!"

Nidhi pushed him away and got up "you can't see me like this!, Ashuthosh …do you have any idea what I gone through that night , how my baba suffered..How can you do this! To get one house you spoiled everything my baba built..He could have died that night!, You know I was ready to gift you that house because I knew what it means to you ….I wanted to give you that house back and wanted to see you happy , you could have just asked me …why you did that now you expect me to forgive you for that ..tell me how "

Ashu was loss of words, it killed him to see her in pain .he wished to go back in time and undo the past..he cursed for trusting sanjivani on this… yes he asked her to take that house from her but he clearly told that way should be within legal boundaries …he could have never supported this if he ever came to know what sanjivani was up to…he cursed himself for not caring to ask her how she got it in the end!

He looked at Nidhi for some time and spoke again "Nidhi …I will do anything to undo the past ...I mean...I am sorry for whatever pain I gave you and your family "

Nidhi snort "you are sorry …you think your sorry will solve everything, at least Mallika is better than you… Dr Ashuthosh! because whatever she did , she did in front of me ..she never tried to hide the fact that she is using her brother to pressurize my baba to get the money back…she did everything to spoil my life , my career and even my baba's life …but you ..how can you do this ?"

Ashu looked at her with shock "mallika …she…she did that? Why you never told me?"

Nidhi: it's not important what Mallika did to me …To me it does not matter that she used her brother to pressurize my baba and made me sell the same house to her..It does not matter that she made a clear use of situation where I was left with no other choice but to sell that house …the situation which you created Ashuthosh!

She looked at him as a void in her chest beginning to fill with anger. Quiet, defeated anger that believed no one could possibly understand that hurt…she gave one last look at him, there was so much in her eyes, sadness, heart break, hatred..Betrayal as she uttered" I will never forgive you Ashuthosh, never "

Ashu shuddered with the tone of her voice, she sounded so cold and ruthless..he moved away from her as her words reverberated in his conscience, he felt weak, drained …'he don't know how to fix this same time he just can't image his life without Nidhi…He opened his mouth asking her not to leave him, not to hate him but he stopped, he moved away …he was still lost in thoughts when his mobile vibrated, it was from ranganath "Hello sir , there is a emergency , we need you here .."

Ashu "yes …yes ranganath , I will be there "….he looked at nidhi helplessly , his heart cried out in pain..He know when he return she will be gone leaving him alone same time he felt he deserved it for whatever he did to her ..even though unknowingly ! He imagined the night when nidhi sat in hospital all alone contemplating what to do and how to collate money …he imagined her moving towards mallika with her shoulders drooping, unsure …helpless being a pawn in one of mallika's manipulative plan! He wondered how much nidhi suffered because of him ..he felt ashamed , guilty and what not sad for things he let happen to nidhi …even though unknowingly !

He turned towards Nidhi "you said it does not matter what Mallika did to you …Well it matter to me Nidhi, that she did all those things with you and your baba..It does matter to me "

Before Nidhi could say anything, he moved out.

Anjie knew Nidhi will come, she knew that …now Nidhi will leave everything behind and come to her baba's house..Anjie banged her head because she is the reason for all these. DB and her baba did not sensed anything when nidhi came and told them that she planning to stay for the night ..

DB: arey , meri bachi…Good that you came , I was preparing gobi ke paratha for you …Doctar ko b bulao "

Nidhi shrugged " Nahi Db , he is busy ….that's ok no need to call him "

Db: arey aise kaise chalega ….haan …

Nidhi cut her in between " DB please ..I am tired, can I sleep for some time!"

Db looked at her questioningly "Nidhi...sab teek hai na tere aur dactar ke beech main? "

Nidhi: DB..Please …I am tired...Can I sleep now?

DB: Acha tu soja ….chal ab

Just then Anjie came in between and dragged Nidhi to her bedroom "Nidhi, how come you are here….I mean don't tell me ..you again fought with jijaji and came here "

Nidhi: anjie , you very well know …that I fought with him !

Anjie: Nidhi ..do you really think jijaji did all those things ….I mean ..I don't think so!

Nidhi: I don't know anjie …..I don't know, I just want to stay away from him for some time, I don't know what I am feeling right now …it is hurting really bad anjie

Anjie hugged Nidhi as she sobbed silently …

It was pretty late When Ashu came back from hospital, Hk opened the door for him …he went straight to bedroom hoping that Nidhi did not left him but to find empty bedroom…Standing their staring empty bedroom all he could think is what she must be doing right now and how he wished she is here with him ..Right here!

His thought were interrupted as BB called him for dinner, he tried hard to swallow his food, with each bite thinking about Nidhi …" Ashuthosh, when is Nidhi is coming beta ….see already without her whole house look so empty"

Ashu: Hmm...She will come soon baba...She was missing her baba so she went to meet him..She will come back soon

After dinner ashu rolled on his side...he reached and put his hand and touched the pillow where Nidhi used to sleep...he desperately wanted something which will lessen his pain..Which will assure him Nidhi will come back..He looked out at empty sky and at his empty bed and wondered …how he can convince Nidhi to come back to him.

He woke up as sun rays touched his closed eye lids...he slowly got up with so much sadness.When suddenly he heard Nidhi talking to his baba..he jumped out of bed and ran outside to find Nidhi , his Nidhi standing in kitchen helping HK to prepare breakfast….he felt so relaxed with mere sight of Nidhi as if relief washed over every cell of his existence ..He could not stop smiling like a fool looking at nidhi ….he thought, if anything which can put him in bright mood is nothing but nidhi …and that moment he sensed how much he love her and how much she is part of his life …..

He was still looking at her when BB interrupted him "Ashu…What happened, why you are smiling like that?"

Ashu looked stumped "nothing….hmm ...Nothing baba...I was just "

BB: Ok, I will ask Nidhi to get you tea ….you go get ready and come out soon.

Ashu nodded and ran inside to get ready to find Nidhi following him inside. Without looking at him she took his clothes from closet and placed it on bed "geezer is already on …you can go and take bath now "

Ashu stopped her in between "Nidhi …I…I want to "

Nidhi pushed him away " Ashuthosh , please don't touch me ….I came back because I don't want to burden my baba for the mistakes you have done …now if you allow me , I have to go outside to prepare breakfast …. pls "

Ashu moved away from her , he looked at her retrieving back he felt himself being invaded through and through, until he crumbled, disintegrated, and only emptiness remained….!
