These thought never crossed her mind, she was too busy even to think all these things. She thought everything was fine till morning, till she met mallika! After khushi's exist ashu looked lost most of the day, always looking at the painting which khushi did on their bedroom wall or else just looking at her scribbling. Whenever nidhi found him like that she saw smile creeping in his eyes, a small happiness in his heart ?she know he loved Khushi dearly as if she is his own! Khushi was always special to him and always will be ...why not? She is the first who ignited the emotion of fatherhood?may be he saw his lost childhood in her and tried to live it?And today to cheer him up a bit, she forcibly took him out. Nidhi purchased a red tie for him and asked Ashuthosh to gift her something, at first ashu just shrugged his shoulder and asked her to choose whatever she wants that he will pay. But after her constant nudging ashu selected parrot green color kurtha for her which put her in bright mood.
It was then they both spotted mallika, she was busy strolling in baby section, looking at the tiny shoes not bigger than her palm. Even before she could react, ashu was moving towards mallika." Mallika,?When?.I mean how come you here in lucknow?"
Mallika smile broadened looking at them both "Ashuthosh ?what are you doing here ...I mean, that's a stupid question to ask! ,oh nidhi How are you ?"
Nidhi just smiled and mumbled a "fine"
Mallika looked back at Ashuthosh " Aditya had some work in lucknow , so we all came along just for a couple of days ?..I am born and bought up here so at this time ?I mean you know ..right now I just felt like visiting lucknow once" and she caressed her little bump with so much love and affection
Nidhi looked at mallika and for first time she saw her smiling like that..that smile was so warm that it reached till her eyes ?she looked happy and content with the mere thought of her baby. Nidhi was still looking at her when mallika picked a small red colored jumper and smelled it " Haaah ?I love to simply stroll in these baby shops , I love this smell?mixture of milk and baby soaps! " and she smiled looking at nidhi .
Nidhi just nodded her head when she heard ashu speak "Hmm ..mallika , I think?we are getting late , we should be going now ?Nice to meet you " and he turned towards nidhi smilingly with expression " chale"
Mallika smiled back and bid them good bye .
Nidhi just dragged herself and sank in her car seat and from that time how hard she tried ?she could not able to shook the feeling that she is not understanding ashu's desire to be father , she felt guilty and what not that she missing something beautiful, precious for things which are not so important?
She was still lost in her thoughts when ashu came and sat next to her " Nidhi, what's wrong ? from afternoon you are bit down ?.i can see something is bothering you !?"
Nidhi throwed her hair brush and buried her face in his neck " I don't know , I am feeling bad ?"
Ashu lifted her chin up "for what?"
Nidhi became silent for a while as she searched words to explain what she is feeling "mallika, looked happy today?"
Ashu looked confused " are you feeling bad that mallika is happy ?...I mean I dint get you ?"
Nidhi " no no?I mean , she looked really happy ..Content, I never saw her like this , you know Ashuthosh when she caressed her little bump I saw a new happiness in her eyes ?something pure and precious ! "
Ashu pondered a while and then replied "yes nidhi , she looked happy ...!"
Nidhi became silent for a while and spoke again " I ?hmm..just wondering , Am I really doing right choice here?.I mean not having baby right now ?"
Ashu looked at her for as second " So, is this what was bothering you ?.Nidhi , you are not doing anything wrong , see we agreed to wait for 2 year ?its not bog deal, only 2 years !"
Nidhi shook her head "no?I mean , I know its just 2 years ..but still "
Ashu" is this thought came to your mind after meeting mallika ? Nidhi ?.I don't want you take any drastic decision thinking that you are not understanding my feeling, I can wait ? only for next 2 year , mind you ! "
Nidhi smiled and hugged him " I love you Ashuthosh ?you know that rite ?"
Ashu hugged her back " I love you too?.how about I show, how much I love you " . Even before nidhi could react , ashu pulled her towards him?.
Nidhi got up with her phone vibrating near her head. Nidhi looked at called ID , it was from anjie " Nidhi, ?come here as soon as possible , I want to talk to you !"
Nidhi: arey yaar , its just ?.8?oh my god , I slept till 8 , anjie I talk to you later . I am getting late "even before anjie could respond she cut the call and ran towards bathroom.
She was busy checking patient just after luch break when anjie called her again "Nidhi?I asked you to come and meet me , I want to talk to you ?"
Nidhi" whats it about ?...I mean kya hua ?"
Anjie ; I cant tell you over phone , can you pls come "
Nidhi : ok ..I will come in half n hr ?
When nidhi reached anjie was waiting for her , she dragged nidhi towards her car and without telling anything she drive towards verma office .
Nidhi; why are you taking me to baba's office ?
Anjie; you will come to know ?.just wait for some time.
Anjie stopped her car and asked nidhi to follow her, once they went inside?anjie took some papers and showed it to nidhi
Nidhi: yeh kya hai?I mean to show these papers you called me?
Anjie : nidhi ?pls dhyaan se dekh , this is the same paper which I signed to approve your baba's consignment ?this is the quality which I approved not that filth which that mansukhani used .
Nidhi look at her : why now?I mean , where you found this ?"
Anjie: Nidhi ?I have more proof ?you know yesterday when I went to buy grocessary I saw mallika talking a guy ..i don't know his name . he was blackmailing about the thing which she done ?he was telling about some house she purchased from you !
Nidhi; anjie , I know that ?I know she pressurized aditya to take back money which baba took it from his bank .
Anjie : you knew all these things but still you did not cared to tell me ?.
Nidhi: arey yaar , now leave it ..I wanted to gift it to Ashuthosh and now since it belong to him why simply dragging same old thing
Anjie : nidhi you are so stupid ?I don't understand how you got 14th rank in your MBBS

Anjie : cant you see ?.mallika planned all this ?only she wanted to purchase that house because she knew that it belonged to Dr Ashuthosh ?..you remember the call you used to get from one lawyer asking you to sell it for whatever price you want ?

Anjie : See here is the truth ..mallika contacted the lawyer , she asked her to contact you but when you refused ..she took another route , she used mansukhani ?by giving him money she made sure that your baba loose that consignment and then with the help of aditya, she pressurized your baba ..And you know the rest .
Nidhi: but how you know mansukhani also involved in this ?
Anjie : you know ? the guy who used to work along with mansukhani ?he told me !! ?Yesterday after seeing mallika and that guy ?.I went to meet him , it was just a guess because I always doubted that mansukhani and his buddy ..I told him that I got some papers which shows he did fraud while working under your baba ?and that guy such a fool , he believed me ..Without even thinking twice he told me everything!
Nidhi started outside for a second, she was stunned hearing what she just heard ?." Anjie , ab kya kare ?I mean its too late now ab kyun khamoka yeh sab "
Anjie cut her in between "Now ?I want you to go to that lawyer and I already asked Dr Ashuthosh to come there as well?he deserve to know that truth! Don't you think so?"
Nidhi; you what? You asked Ashuthosh to come to that lawyer's house ?
Anjie : no I asked jijaji to come to tandoor express , even that lawyer is coming their !
Nidhi : anjie ?yeh
Anjie cut her in between ?" just shut up and now lets go "
Anjie literally dragged nidhi along with her ?.after some time anjie nudged nidhi and pointed her finger towards door way ..Where they found lawyer sanjivani coming!
Without wasting any time anjie came straight to the point "?I called you here to clear few things! ?I hope you remember nidhi "
sanjivani: yes of course, I do remember ?. Hello Nidhi verma , nice to meet you ?its been ages since I heard from you !
Nidhi smiled back "I am fine ?.after whatever you and your client did to me!"

Sanjivini: yes nidhi , he wanted to purchase that property from you ?.I don't know any mallika !
Ashuthosh looked at nidhi with expression " what is happening ?"
Nidhi exhaled hard " Dr Ashuthosh ?you ?, you did those things ?.you let mansukhani bankrupt my baba..you did that?" Nidhi stared at ashu As if struggling to hold on something which is slipping through her fingers..she just stared " nidhi , what are you talking about ? I don't know any mansukhani ?.what is happening sanjivani?"
Nidhi felt as if her inside is burning with pain , controlling her emotions she looked at ashu " tell me Dr Ashuthosh ..did you ever asked sanjivani to get that house from me by any means ?"
Ashu looked stumped " I ?.nidhi ( he give helpless look at sanjivini)..I "
Nidhi cut him in between " I got my answer Ashuthosh ?.." and without giving any chance she push him away from her path and move out ?ashu run behind her , asking her to stop ?.he pull her back towards him , nidhi shrug and move away "I never meant to

Nidhi put her hands up, pressing her palms against her eyes. "Dr Ashuthosh ?"
"You hate me do you?," Ashuthosh say in disbelief, hearing the
panic tingling his own voice. "I'd be ?"
"Alone?" Nidhi lowered her hand, but she is smiling now, crookedly. "And
whose fault is that Dr ashuthosh?".. There was so much sadness , heart break and hatred in those voice ?. That Ashu shudder !
Nidhi look at him one last time and moves away from him as thick fat tears run down her cheeks ?..!
