Monish B and KritikasJodi is highly appealing! He is decent, sober and a someone with a great personality. and She is cute, sweet and innocent...i thinkthis jodi is the best after Karan and Kritikas jodi - The script is the problem...its hard for people to take Dr.Mallikas plotting and scheming against Dr.N its too much and too soon like in alsmost every episode...that gives a bit of Balaji serials (saas bahu walay) touch to this one which people didn't expect from this serial.

This is my first time posting on this forum and I found this discussion really interesting. I have my own set of theories, having watched the show from the beginning, wandered off in the middle and come back recently.

KTLK as an idea, before it started was flawless. It was based on a timeless and unique love story (from what I have heard, I have never seen DK, but it sounds amazing), had the perfect cast and excellent production value (I love the wardrobe!).

However, where it failed was the establishment of the characters before getting into the story. Everything I knew about the characters, I knew from their character sketches, rather than what I actually saw on the show. So I feel the characterisation was sloppy and rushed at the beginning, which meant that they couldn't hold on to people who were trying it out as a new show, after all the promotion.

There were also certain logical flaws that really bothered me (and I am not even going into the medical side of things), like how the kids at the hospital fasted for a doctor they had known for a total of two days. I felt they could have extended Nidhi's first stint at the hospital for at least two weeks or even a month to make that more believable. In this time we could have seen more allegedly characteristic grumpiness from Dr. Ashutosh, which was lacking from the script.

Finally to have the substance of the story move so fast and then conversely to spend one whole episode with them missing each other at the mall is really confusing for a viewer. To me these mistakes which they made in the beginning cost them that edge over other competitive shows in the time slot. So even though the show and the characters have been greatly strengthened since then, and I am loving the show, coming back to it in the last few weeks, I think many people, unlike me, do not turn back once they have left.

I think we should stop blaming peoples' mentality for the shows limited success. If there is a well-thought out, well executed story, the age and demographic becomes irrelevant because everyone loves a good story. I sensed a lot of complacence at the beginning of the show, where the makers seemed to be riding on the popularity of their leads and the classic story the show was based on. It's only now that I really see some effort being put into story and characterisation.

Hopefully KW provides a good reason to attract viewers and give visibility to this fresh effort.

as i already mention 2 times before the reason is simple suppose there are 100 people who watch tv show only 20 out of 100 understand other will think its rubbish or not practical

If i remove bad luck option from d poll ..then d result is that ppl r not happy with this jodi 😲 n i guess this is bcoz of d fact that cvs dint able to create that magic so far which a jodi requires ...n ppl havent seen good romantic scenes bw ashni ...there was only some cute scenes but not so romantic one ...SO OVERALL WE CAN SAY THAT CVS FAILED TO CREATE A LOVE STORY IN KTLK .😕 n we cant blame viewers every time ..as d viewers r same who watches balh , parvarish etc ...but if they r not liking ktlk then we have to accept that there r serious problems on creative side , execution n story line . ...

N 1 MORE THING IF THE TRP GET INCREASE AFTER KW ENTRY THEN WE WILL HAVE TO ACCEPT THAT THIS CURRENT JODI IS NOT APPEALING N MAY BE BCOZ OF D FACT THAT LOVE STORY OF YOUNG N OLD IS A GHISA - PITA FORMULA TO WOO VIEWERS... N ONLY EKTA JI IS ABLE TO PLAY WITH IT .
