A very nice epi today.
KK was fantastic in her opening scene with Shehenshah👏👏...I'm seeing her mature as an actress compared to her previous roles...and I liked the extra touch they added in of her tying up her hair in irritation...Zoya didn't have that luxury in the original thanks to her boycut😆...there was something very raw about Nidhi today without the makeup...she looked so broken but trying to get a grip on herself as she pleads with the child not to die on her...very good scene.
Next scene...MB with his Kaka...lovely scene once again...I think he has better chemistry with the Kaka than with Alok Nath in the Baba scenes😆...and I have to say, MB looked really handsome in this scene...aaj kuch zyada achha lag raha tha😆...especially his smile in the bit when Kaka offers to bring him chocolate milk😆...I loved the dialogues later on where Ashu talks about how all his relationships began and ended with Baba...that is why no other relationship can take that place in his life.
The Ashu-Nidhi next morning in the ICU was brief but nicely done too barring the slightly random bit of Saiyyan playing in the end after Ashu puts her earrings in his pocket😆
Next, I liked the Ashu-Nidhi scene in their favorite haunt...Ashu's cabin...the way he asks her, 'aap naraaz hain mujhse'?😆...the line about galti and haq was nice too...the entire lecture he gives her after that was very well enacted by MB👏👏...the right balance of firmness yet genuine concern and advice as well...and the way he asks her if she is ok to drive home.
Nidhi's reaction to the earrings when she opens the envelope in the car was nicely shown too...KK enacted that nicely and subtly...interesting touch they added in of the earrings sparkling on the dashboard as she drives back home thoughtfully.
The father-daughter scene was nicely shown too...subtly...where he realized that she needs time alone for contemplation.
Overall I have to say I liked the treatment of the earring scene more in KTLK than in DK...they showed Nidhi's contemplation in a more interesting manner and kept the subtlety right for the reaction to the earrings.
I'm looking forward to the next epi to see how this unfolds.
