Btw, after a long long time.. my MIL has started liking a daily show and thts BALH.. so i tk her liking as general peoplometer ratings.. 😆 .. it reflects wat the other ladies in neighborhood r watching...😆😆😆... thy have no exposure to news updates, star-fan power, or publicity like v do.. so wen i get back in holiday, i wud luv to know wat she thinks abt KTLK and MB..😆

Agree.. BALH is by far th only show which deserves to be in th top...such a lovely concept..

Yeah *touchwood* to that...so far compared to most shows, they've managed to keep the subtlety of many scenes intact...hope that continues to be.

So the opening TRPs were around 1.1?? Not bad...I do hope that the subtle treatment of this show doesn't go against it...in general TRP audiences only want LOUD MELODRAMA...it's rare that shows with subtle treatment get their due...but hoping for the best in the case of KTLK😊

What I loved the about the episode was the fact that Ash got up to speak to her. He knows she has been sort of slapped and he wasn't going to talk down to her instead he was trying to be equal with her. Ash was also considerate enough to offer a driver to send her home.

As for the earring reflecting on her, I thought it was symbolic that something new is beginning to shine in her life too.

I like the symbolic subtle gestures shown, nothing OTT and plain, it's just done on cue.

I dont think so subtlety was ever a problem.. luk back at Sasural Genda Phool.. even tho Suhana overacted a big time.. it worked till the story was kept real and interesting for family viewing.. the pnt when thy started focusing solely on Suhana-ishaan and started dragging the plot it became stale.. v so wanted to c the rest of characters and thy jst provided more n more dose of SI..

Beautifully put, Fuzzy...I loved that symbolism too...it was shown very nicely and subtly



@achiever: Sasural genda phool has a SASURAL in it...the #1 draw for TRP audiences regardless of treatment...so it has that going for it...I would hardly call SGP a SUBTLE show...it was heartwarming in it's heydays, yes...but it wasn't ever really a subtle show.

KTLK is showing some things more subtly and that combined with it's unconventional couple might not be enough to draw the standard TRP audience...let's see.
