So because there exist terrible other itv heros makes dev's actions acceptable.

also i've never seen people only bashing dev without suggesting help for him. actual therapy.

sorry for not accepting all terrible actions just because fateh or whoever else on itv does worse.

who said we all must think, like, write same? are we all not individuals? Last I know this forum was open to all for writing their views about the show as they observe. Why are you assuming any one or "Six members" bashing Dev?

i mean for one i have criticised literally every character from asha to mamaji to vicky elena, dev even sonakshi. but you can't deny with all the itc heros you've pointed out maybe you think dev is better. i don't watch those shows and objectively dev has done reprehensable actions without as much a proper apology for a lot of them.

edit: also i think i've at least called out multiple times how the writing of dev is inconsitent af.

like same dude gives 5 crores but can't acknowledge.

same dude remember's the temperaeture sonakshi drinks water at and can't remember what he called her khargosh or hiran.

same dude is worried about sonakshi getting little hurt and doesn't bother checking on her for 7 years knowing they are probably on the streets.

its not just dev as person but the terribly written character.

The characters you mentioned seem pretty horrible to me too. Trust me, had I been watching those shows, I would have gone to their respective forums & bash those characters diligently too 😃

As for Dev, nah I don't want him to die. Dying doesn't solve problems. Can Mamta show him realising he is a 40+ man who should grow up & behave like a responsible adult leaving his Mommy's pallu now and maybe.... just maybe....own up his actions & apologize for them instead of arm twisting others into apologizing to him?🤔 That would satisfy me 😳

1. thats on him literally. sona at least made an attempt to come to him. he thought due to his actions sonakshi's entire family was on streets. like literally. so his actions have consequences, facing consequences is not redemption.

2. He did

a. when he was drugged and wasn't informed by sonakshi ever that he did say that.

b. also where is the apology. i mean girly what. i mean am sorry regret /= apology

green: by objectively i mean if this was put as facts in courts it literally counts as emotional abuse.

i can't help you if you are biased and can't see how sonakshi isn't a victim. narrate the story once to yourself or someone else and it will be clear as day whos' the victim. idk man i can't help you see facts either you do or you don't. i just know if i was sonakshi i wouldn't deal with all this maybe you would.

How many times did he apologize to Sonakshi for throwing her out of his house? How many times did he apologize for saying such horrible things to her as a parting shot? How many times did he apologize for flaunting his random girlfriends to her & rubbing it on her face how she never mattered to him, she was just one notch on his bedpost among many? How many times he apologize for blaming & accusing her of keeping Soha away from him while it was actually his mother's doing? How many times did he apologize for slapping her father & continuously mocking taunting him inside her house? ZERO as far as I remember.

His only confession was that he wasn't with her during when she needed him & that too under the influence of a drug (that Radharani slipped in) AND since he was also suffering, he was not happy either, Sonakshi should just forget everything & give him another chance (3rd chance by this time). Even intoxicated, he couldn't form a sincere apology, let alone sober.

Even after their "reunion", he didn't bother apologizing to Bose family for the hell they were put through because of him / his family. Sonakshi sure did a lot of apologizing & amending with Ishwari. She even went on & said tons of Sorries to Dev on her knees in the middle of a road because apparently it was her fault that she wasn't with him for the past 7 years when actually it was him who threw her out

Honestly I don't just dislike Dev, I dislike Sonakshi too for discarding her self respect & going back to a man who doesn't value her only to be his punching bag & his Mother's doormat all over again.🥱 The whole series is toxic in my opinion.

Then he left his job to help Sona with her career (but let's forget that season because Dev did something nice there).

So you are saying everything Dev did is discounted and we will only remember his problematic deeds & call him a monster and it's a fact and no one can dare question it. Got it

red : the reading emails i agree he regretted and did actually apologise for not being there and made up for it. off screan because sona's pregnancy we didn't see but i am assuming he did.

purple : even sonakshi mentioned it the next day, he just blurted out his regret and suffering. regret for actions has to materialise in a proper apology irl. you can feel bad for somthing without actually making up for your actions. ho sakta hai aise.

green : lol i have been harping on this for i think since i am here. am tired of the skewed view of society so won't even go there. its actually sad you talk this way as if it's not a basic requirement as a parent to be there for your kid. if not dev it would be sonakshi and noone would be talking of her as this amazing person because she took care of the kid she decided to give birth to.

also he didn't leave a job he was just the way he was for 7 years
