So there is this colleague of mine. She is an intern so she is quite young and is a Christian so she has zero knowledge or interest in Hindu mythology. Anyways I will refer to her as Random Colleague (RC)-

RC- Hey have you read Mahabharat?

Me- Yeah I have but when did you start to developing an interest in it?

RC- Oh I still don't care but I watch MB so I was just curious (the dubbed version of Star MB has been telecast repeatedly here)

Me- Okay what do you want to discuss?

RC- Have you seen this actor who plays Arjun? 😆

Me- Yeah I have seen him while flipping channels. What about him? (everyone around here thinks am a nerd so gotta maintain the image, also no one really knows I watch daily soaps and worse post and discuss about them online 😆)

RC- Dude he is so hot. Have you seen his eyes?

Me- Not really 😆

RC- Oh common. Wait lemme show you his pictures (and she flips her phone which is full of his wallpapers 🤪)

Me- He is OK 😆

RC- You are crazy. Did you know he is a Muslim? And his name is Shaheer 🤣

Me- (maintains impassive expression) Oh okay

RC- Also you know he had an Indonesian girlfriend but they broke up. And thank god tbh. They just don't look nice 😆

Me- (at this point I was really cracking up but I just maintained this neutral expression and nodded my head 😆)

RC-Hey forget MB. You should watch his next show KRP. He looked even better as Dev

Me- Okay will try checking it out if I have time

RC-And you know the female lead. Her name is Erica. They look perfect together and I wish they hook up in real life 🤣

Me- At this point I really couldn't stop laughing 😆

RC- I know you are judging me for this because am shipping two random celebrities but I just wanted to gush and I know you won't mind.

Me- Not at all. Pls don't explain 🤣

P.S. Poor girl had no idea that she was only on the brink of the obsession and I have crossed all stages of shipping and finally had to get rid of it for my own sanity 🤣
