@asha, please don't feel bad. It's just that different people will have different opinions based on their life experiences. Let's respect that and agree to disagree.
I can never see Dev and Sona as equals in their relationship because Dev accepted Sona the way she is and always appreciated her efforts and concentrated on her strengths, where as Sona was never able to accept Dev the way he is and always pointed his mistakes and concentrated on his flaws.

Thank you!!Yes all of us have different ways to look at a situation - that doesnt necessarily mean that one is right and the other is wrong. If Dev had actually worked on one of his major flaws - he wouldnt be still looking for a short term solution by lying about forgetting to pick up his kids or lying to the principal for getting late.Anyways... to each ones own!!š

Shaavi, are you Telugu by any chance??
'I remember this dialogue from a movie and it kind of stuck with me. It goes like this the relationship between a husband and wife wife should be like fish and water, not like fish and fisherman. Fish and water are 2 different things.'From Nayak??

Hahaha...I feel flaw is a flaw, there is nothing called major and minor flaws. Coming to his lies, once upon a time Sona was principal of this school where now Dev is studying. So I can't see her lies as cute and sweet, his lies as mistakes and flaws since I am not the close cousin of Raja Harishchandra. So I see both of them as bokas.š
Well to me preferring to forego his core identity, his passion that is his business matters more than his routine lies. I consider his profession as his passion, his enjoyment, hiss stress buster, his fulfillment, his means to offer so much to people around him in need . I never think he became a slave of his mother and toiled hard to meet her or his sister's needs. When Sonakshi is working hard to uplift her brother it becomes a nice or good trait that she possessed. But Dev can take rest at home. He did enough for his people. Infact he repaid Iswari. I heard many say this. I wonder how could a mother's help be counted in rupees or dollars.Originally posted by: LiveLife321

Yes of course you are right. I love Dev fiercely. He deserves such undaunted single minded love. He is one in millions brought to life by my dearest Shaheer.Originally posted by: RUQAIYA10
Dear Lakshmi,
Putting aside the Dev-Sona debate , can I just say I really admire your fierce love and loyalty towards Devš Being a hardcore Dev Dixit fan myself, I can absolutely relate to your sentiments. We humans being are such strange creatures as in we care more about fictional characters than our own livesšš
