I am having mixed feelings regarding this season after today's episode. The current episodes are a mirror reflection of the initial marriage episodes. There too Dev who was super smart and savvy businessman was shown to be as someone who was not able to handle both his wife and mother. And his wife and mother didn't give him any opportunity to speak his mind or do what he thought. Neither one was ready to listen to him. Both his wife and mom wanted him to do as they told him and assumed that if he followed their script, then everything would be ok. And in this tug of war, with him trying to follow what both of them were asking him to do, he kind of lost his confidence and lost miserably. But both these ladies didn't find anything wrong in what they did.

I actually was lost watching the episode today, I really could not understand what was going on
I am pretty sure the CVs suffer from selective amnesia. The very first scene where the nanny tells Dev to hold the neck of Shubh was so illogical, if my memory serves correctly then post leap in one of the scenes when Dev brings new born Golu home he himself told Elena to hold the neck properly as it is a weak spot then how come for his own kid he forgets that, just to show his struggles managing the kids why are they showing illogical stuff.
Then coming to Sonakshi on one hand she tells Ishwari to trust Dev but the very next moment she runs to the hospital when she herself does not trust Dev why preach others, I know many will say that it is natural reaction of any mother but then she has not left the kids with any stranger, they are with there father for god's sake. And no father will want his kids to suffer, so please Sonakshi show some trust.
Coming to Ishwari I could understand her reaction though I felt it was bit of an overreaction to call Sonakshi.
I seriously do not understand what purpose do Mama and Mami serve apart from sitting on the Dining table for food and lecturing Ishwari, but surprising thing today was even Mami was advising Ishwari to trust Dev.
I was not surprised with the way Saurabh reacted I mean here was a person who is always berated by his father and had to piggy bank on his sister in business and he is suddenly entrusted to handle the client, it will definitely be overwhelming and the same happened with him and therefore his subsequent reaction was understandable.
The look which Sonakshi gave to Dev in the last scene just conveyed how much she trusts Dev with the kid which is unfortunately none.

Apologies for the long rant, but I was really disappointed with today's episode. My POV, no offence.

Shaavi, I am really disappointed with the episode as well and will probably skip the next few ..

I think the nanny could have been reprimanded for using her phone..instead of firing her! She was doing good job taking care of Shubh and training Dev for most part! I thought Dev was doing a good job managing home and finding out about Soha's problem as well. Ishwari's anxieties have shifted from Dev to grandkids! Given her history of insecurities/ manipulations, I still find her reactions OTT. I think Dev needs some more trust and positive positive support! Sonakshi will probably start doing it when others do it (she is still in pendulum mode)...Poor guy..: he gives importance and encouragement to one and all but doesn't get any back.

@SHAAVI I completely agree, it is so disappointing that the makers are showing how a man struggles to take care of the kids and acts so dumb which at least in today's world is far from reality. Just like I had mentioned how the role reversal in a way demeans the working couples especially in a nuclear setup, for me what they showed today is mocking & demeaning all those single fathers who raise their kids and may I say very successfully. In fact in my previous organisation I had a senior who lost his wife to leukaemia when their daughter was six year old, yet today when I meet I see how beautifully he is raising his kid, yes he has the support of both his family & in laws but he is filling the place of both parents for his daughter.
Today at least for me the CVs has taken it to a new low in the name of showing something different. I really pity Dev, who is trying his level best yet both his mother & wife leave no chance to make him feel that he is wrong

SP12, I am with you. Today's episode was very confusing and irritating too. 😊 . On one side, I feel that what they are showing is deliberate and there is a reason for it. On the other hand, I am wondering if it is necessary for them to show this way. One of the thing about Dev is the influence Sonakshi and Ishwari have on him. Outside of their influence, he is smart and savvy. But with them, he loses his confidence to the extent that he becomes like a puppet. He has thoughts and plans a\nd tries to put them into action. But like anything, even the most brilliant plan can have a failure point. For ex, microsoft releases software which they know has defects. Same with Apple and iPhone. None of these products are "perfect" or "bug free". They will have some sort of deficiency in them. I feel it is the same with us too. We can plan and schedule everything. but expecting it to be perfect and not have any failures is unrealistic. Things happen. One needs to learn from it and grow.

Why can't they fire that nanny? I did not find her show any commitment towards her job. She forgot why she came to Iswari Nivas and continued herchit chatting on phone. And she is giving good instructions? First thing she should learn to follow instructions properly. She disregarded Dev's word,did not call up Sonakshi and Iswari. On top of it when Subh is crying she is again on phone and the excuse she gave ..baby is with Dev Sir? What is her duty? To be with the baby no? And the way she talked to Iswari I think I would have said get out then itself. What kind of nanny she is? And she is threatening she will black list Dixit family?

I was rewatching the episode and I just got a wild idea. What if Sonakshi forgets to go to office as she promised to Saurabh. And Saurabh keeps waiting there with the clients. 😆 😆

Any predictions on how Dev will gain trust of all the great Dixit and Bose moms and take care of kids (as shown in promos)?

After watching today's episode i felt this house husband arrangement is not temporary (not until Sona's project completes) but its going to be till Shubh starts going to school .Does anyone feel this way ?

Indirectly they showed all Nannies are useless so only parents can take care of their children .So either Sona or Dev has to stay at home to look after the kid .So its Dev who is gonna stay back and raise Shubh .

Nitu, I am still on the fence on this one. There is a probability that the makers show the story as you said and will not go back to his business for another 2 - 3 years. But what I am more curious is about is Sonakshi. Is she ready to give up her place as the "best mom, or "perfect mom. In our society, a women's life is considered as complete when she gives birth to a child and becomes a mother. Because Dev was not there when she was a child, Soha told him that he was just her father and not her "papa.. And went on to say that a papa is one who is like Bijoy. Now if Sonakshi is ku nd of absent from their lives for 2 - 3 years, and Soha compares Sonakshi with Asha or Ronita and says a "mom should be like them. And so Sonakshi is just her mother and not her "mom, is Sonakshi prepared for that situation.

As to that nanny, the makers kind of made a mockery out of it. 😆
