This was one thoroughly disjointed episode. I am wondering why they could not get the two kids to come in when Shaheer was shooting. At least some scenes that were more realistic could have been shot no?? I hate his body double, it is so very obvious:((, they shld have at least tried to get someone built like him or totally cut 'him' out of scenes. I guess they are hinting at Blue Whale??? This is now a mystery box challenge. We all have to take wild guesses at what the episode was actually all about.

😆 Thanks, JALK2000! You are right about the mystery box challenge... can't wait for more daily exclusive specials!! Actually it's kind of sad to see our fav. Show run this way 🥱 ... I mean the school related problems with phone addictions are realistic but yet I don't feel the connect.. 😕

It is so appalling that this once beautiful show of ours has fallen to such levels of illogicality, I mean which school allows its students let alone 3rd graders to not only bring phones to school but even allow them to play games on it, I accept that it is an international school but this is so absurd, actually what is more illogical is how can parents buy their kids so expensive smartphones, nothing much to say apart from saying that it's plain irresponsible on the part of parents as well as the school.
Then what is this whole business of giving Sonakshi the credit of taking care of the diet of the kids. I mean wasn't it Dev who gave the idea, in fact he gave the idea of making healthy food tasty as well then how is he saying that she deserves all the credit. Absolutely terrific I must say 😆 👏 and for that reason Sonakshi expressing how lucky she is to have Dev, I mean just Wow 👏
Then coming to the Boses, I mean how careless can Ronita be, her daughter was crying from the last night yet all she does is cry instead of calling Asha for advice, normally anyone would first consult the elders but nothing of that sort from Ronita or Saurabh, in fact hearing the child cry the grandparents first rush but again seems like the elder Boses live in some other world that neither the Junior Boses called them nor the Senior Boses could hear the child cry the whole night.
Only Dev-Shubh scenes were enjoyable today.

Apologies for the rant, but had to take it out. My POV, no offence.

PS- Actually I feel the makers and the channel are mocking the fans for asking them to comeback with the show, they are taking the revenge of all the hate they received when the show was pulled off. Even the episodes have been taken of YouTube, need to download the Sony app to watch it.

Durjoy dutta should have been honest enough to admit that nothing more is left to tell in this story. That he has run out of ideas. Seriously is this the track that we wished to see? I don't know about others but I did not wait to see this lacklustre show.
As if that is not enough ,the body doubles ,reminding me that it is not Shaheer but someone else I am watching.

Looks like even the makers are not ready for the extension to happen. End result is horrible.

The makers are trying to bring closure to too many things at the same time. But with the finite series and the availability of actors, the execution is not smooth. Also the makers are trying hard to please both sections of the viewers the ones who watch just for Dev and Sonakshi's love story and the ones who like the story and the message and the analysis of it. They are also keeping the story intact and making sure that it doesn't go astray. Kudos to their efforts.

Having said that I feel that the story is moving in the direction it needs to go for the tracks to reach conclusion. The 2 tracks that were open before the show closed were Sonakshi and Boses realization of their role in the breakup along with them coming out of their belief that they are perfect. The other one is Elena and Vickky and through them the Tripati family realizing that they didn't do any favors on Dixit family. In fact they are living on the generosity of Dev.

Coming to Elena, she grew up in Sonakshi's shadow. She grew up with being compared to her all her life. Even if she didn't openly say it, she did feel a little resentment in her heart. With Sonakshi getting a husband like Dev, she felt even more desire to have what Sonakshi had. She ended up marrying Vickky assuming that Vickky will change and become like Dev. But the last 8 - 9 yrs have taught her that she will not have what Sonakshi has. Till Sonakshi came back to Dev's life with Soha, Elena didn't really think much about Golu or his future. She went with the common understanding that Golu will be Dev's heir. When Suhana came into Dev's life along with being in the same class as Golu, Elena for the first time took time to review what was happening in her family. She started comparing Golu and Soha. Soha is smart, studious who worked hard and got good grades. Golu was a slacker who didn't really pay much attention to studies and his report card with Fs were considered common. Only with Suhana coming to Dev's life did Elena realize that the relationship between Dev and Golu was not completely altruistic. She wanted to think that by letting Golu fill the void, she was doing a favor to Dev and that Dev would return the favor in kind. Instead she realized that Dev was doing it for himself but also was not as attached to Golu as she had believed. Also it was more self serving for Dev than it was focused on Golu's well being alone (hope I am able to convey what I wanted to convey).

With Suhana coming, Elena wanted Golu also be like her so that he didn't have to go through what she and Vickky had gone through. Elena had no one to compare Golu to, but now there was someone who was with him, but better than him. Also with Vickky constantly comparing their unit to Dev's unit, she started to care for Golu's studies more. She wanted Golu to listen to her, but he wouldn't as he had not been used to that since young. When Vickky' villainy was exposed, she still didn't leave hope that Dev would let go of Golu. But she saw how wrong she was when Dev refused to let Vickky back home even at the cost of losing Golu. When she advised reconciliation to Vickky, she thought that Golu will still be the heir as he is a "male. But now she is not so sure. She feels that Dev can change his mind anytime and Golu will be left hanging. Even if Golu gets something, it is the leftovers after Suhana and Shubh have been given the best. She dislikes her current position immensely.

When Dev started the experiment, Golu was the one who bore the teacher's punishment. When the principal threatened to remove both Golu and Suhana, her fear reached its peak. From her pov, Suhana has her father's and mother's money to fall back on, but Golu has nothing. Also she wants Golu to prove that he is no less than Suhana. She wants to kind of beat Sonakshi too. For that she wants Golu to be her son, who listens to her and does what she tells him. She has been trying to get Vickky to influence Golu and bring him closer to them, so that he is not influenced much by Dev. As long as she feels that she can get what she wants without having to work hard, she is fine with Dev's decisions. But the moment there is a possibility of negative consequence, she is immediately questioning Dev and wants Vickky to support her. She is very sceptical regarding the experiment. She doesn't want Golu to be following any such thing. She wants him to excel himself in the traditional way.

In Thursday's episode, even when all the kids answered the questions correctly, she was shown to be still not convinced. I felt her displaying similar emotions in today's episode too. And the precap is what makes me hopeful that my understanding is right. Elena has to rebel against Dev and she should expect Vickky and RR to support her. She has been keeping quite regarding their misdoings in the hope that Golu will have a better future. But now that she feels insecured on that front, she has to fight for his future in her way. And for that she has to question Dev and tell him that if he is taking care of Golu then he has to do it the way she tells him to. Because she is his "mother and she is the one with his best interest at heart. Like she said in last weeks episode that if what Dev is doing hurts Golu's future, she will never "forgive Dev in front of others, she has to tell it in front of him. She has to instigate Vickky enough to make him talk against Dev. Both Vickky and Elena have to accuse Dev is trying to destroy Golu's future. Only when this happens is when the focus will go back to what Vickky did and how everyone just expected him to forgive Vickky and forget everything.

One of the things that the makers have made it clear is that a truth can be hidden, but it will come out one day. Khatri has hid the truth regarding the theft for 20+ yrs, but it still came out. Similarly all of Vickky and maami's truths are waiting to come out. The situations are converging in such a way that they have no were else to go, but face the truth.

In one of the episodes during Sona Ritwick track, there is a scene in which Bijoy tells Asha that in their house(Bose house), even if a small glass breaks, like bangles, all of us come together to ask what happened. But in IN, their child's heart was broken, but no one is hearing it. And questions how could the Dixit family people be so selfish.

Cut to today's episode, Ronita tells that the baby has been crying the whole night. Even though the Boses welcomed Ronita with open arms, she still didn't feel comfortable in reaching out to them. The senior Boses do not live in a different house, they just live on a different floor than Saurabh and Ronita. Yet they didn't hear the cries of their progeny. In her initial marriage phase, Sonakshi had told Dev that she wants Dixit family to be like Bose family. She had said how there was honest and open communication there and how dysfunctional Dixit family was. Now the family dynamics between these 2 have reversed. Boses have become the dysfunctional family unit, while the Dixits have come together. Today we saw Ishwari recording a video of Dev taking care of the baby to Sona. Something that was unimaginable for both the families was shown today.

What they showed with Ronita is important for the story to continue. Ronita should become overwhelmed with taking care of the baby leading to her reaching out to her mom. She should feel discontented with the senior Boses, that they are only focused on Sonakshi. Saurabh who was not given any responsibility, both physical and emotional should feel the pull from all directions demanding his attention. He should also feel overwhelmed with the current demands. And that he should in turn show it on Sonakshi and the senior Boses. This is the way the makers are bringing the focus on Sonakshi and her beliefs and the perfection image she has along with Bijoy.

I have just come here to commend @Shaavi for putting the effort that she does in her analyses...
I might not agree with the majority of the people who are active on this thread but I do read all of your posts, simply because all (or most) of you were once part of the Analysis Thread...

The only reason why I feel that your analyses no longer are able to convince me is simply because you are still stuck on Sona's BD and SD way of dissecting her... This was something that I felt was pretty important till the reunion... After that, I feel that this way of analysing her character has become nearly obsolete (and, especially now...)

I also feel that by terming both Sona and Bijoy's thinking process as one and the same thing, you are no longer able to see Sona's character separately... While I do agree with you, that Bijoy's image of perfection has not been broken but Sona is no longer travelling on the same boat as him...

And, Sona concept of 'perfection' has changed dramatically since her reunion with Dev and also, her goals and ideals in life... She is finally living the life that she wished for, but never had... Her separation with Dev has definitely taught her the value of the life that she has now with him... She is content with her life and has no intention or desire of changing it...

My only complaint with her character when the previous season ended, was that she was not very expressive.. We have to really dig deep to understand what's going on inside her but thankfully, this is no longer the case...

All said and done, I am still glad this show is at least focusing on issues like tech addiction, outdated teaching methods and trying to give a message abt sharing household responsibilities than showing us utterly idiotic saas- bahu atrocities, black magic type lunacy, general meaningless passive aggression et all! I do really appreciate the makers for doing this despite my many, many cribs with the current tracks. So basically, TV-dom does have the team, the resources, the ability to write and execute common sense shows. I hope more makers are inspired by these ppl. When movie makers are learning that audiences are changing, it is high time TV producers and writers did too and KRPK is definitely a step in the right direction from that perspective.
That said, I think makers should NEVER be restricted or forced by either the channel or the audience to ditch or continue a show. Every story has a natural progression and it is only fair to the writer, the cast, the crew and the audience to let it come to its natural conclusion. It's like telling an author, after he has nicely wrapped up his book with the 'happily ever after', to suddenly add 5 more chapters or chuck the last 5.😕 Obviously, there is going to be some mess somewhere.

I agree partially with you on touching issues that were left unexplored. But my complaint with the writer remains intact as he fails to study the issue properly before penning it and letting it telecast . There are contented viewers who would just feel satisfied by the issue shown without bothering about the way it was shown in the show. An international school as they pronounce it to be never function the way it was shown. Leave alone international school no school in general allows kids to bring phones sorry smart phones inside. Here the kids are shown playing games freely sitting phones in hand. Absurdity at peaks. Being in teaching field I know how serious an issue it is to allow the phone..immediately the parents of the ward will be informed and summoned..

Sorry to say things won't happen that way. If they want to tackle an issue as important as school education in India they should do proper research before jumping into the task. Not having sufficient time? Extention happened suddenly? Leave it and do it in another show.

I am sorry I am not in a mood to praise the makers for their halfhearted attempt.

Lakshmi, I do agree with you that starting out things and then leaving them halfway is frustrating at best and annoying at the very least. And yes, particularly, serious issues like school methods changing or phone addiction should be given adequate thought and enuff research before being incorporated into storylines. Otherwise the very purpose of showing these is largely lost.
I am defntly of the view that this extension was unnecessary, actually since they clearly do not have a cohesive storyline planned out. In fact, given that, they shld have at least just stuck to romance parts that would not have had tracks starting and then dying off abruptly. Some cutesy moments that wud have satisfied most viewers and left me with less frustration:)) wud have probably worked well. Why get into the 'samaj ko sandesh do'mode at all?

Still, after catching sight of some utterly unbelievable scenes last evening on youtube (some show with a Brahmarakshas, of all things in the universe) I suddenly realized how much better this show still is, when compared with stuff like this.

I don't want show makers to get entirely disheartened from trying things like KRPK just bcos of my dissing the show. I still think this is far better than most but, writers, please note, that does not mean I am actually saying that this track is not half baked. It is and doing this with a school track is esp a big blooper bcos this is one area where your biggest audience segment is going to know a LOT!

I do want showmakers to stop insulting the intelligence of audience members and expecting that we will swallow anything that appears on TV.
