Whatever time they had they did not find it necessary to show Vikky realise his actual worth. What message they gave by showing Vikky smoothly running his company on his own without facing any kind of disturbances? It proved that Vikky is right after all and Dev underestimated his credentials.

How could Vikky obtain such command over business methodology? As long as he worked with Dev he did not learn anything. He himself admitted before Sona. Then how is he shown as one who could buy a pent house that too in Delhi within a very short period of owning a company... Unbelievable.

None can establish himself without business acumen and basic training. The makers are bent upon showing Vikky the son of RadhaRani fulfill all her dreams. I don't like the way RadhaRani is pampered by Iswari and Sona. They should have told her it is with Dev's money and initiative Vikky could run his so called Big Company...

Looks like makers are so fond of Vikky that they made him a hero out of zero. ...His wife Elena ! So insensitive to ignore it is her husband who made Dev and Sona drift away from each other for seven years. I just can't support her so called pati Bhakti.

Finally I am sad that Dev remains a thief in Bijoy's eyes. No one bothers to reveal Mrs Mandal's theft. Not even Sonakshi.

Any way when the makers are not inclined to clear up the stuff what can viewers do? May be they are contented to show the predictable pregnancy moments. Who won't expect Dev Dixit to do all the things that they are showing with a slow pace? Season 1 or Season2 he is undoubtedly the best husband to me award or no award.

@ J Shukla

Laxmi- i saw your post below and for now I just want to appreciate the good. Vikky, RR, Allena are freeloaders and I think makers would have shown justice being delivered if the serial had run any longer. I am just going to believe that these free loaders do

I agree with you. Still the fact that Vikky is whitewashed and RR allowed to boast about her son's achievement made me upset. I know they have to rush up with time. But surely they need not show Vikky become successful so early. Sitting with a lap top and uttering lines like I am the boss now won't make him The Dev Dixit.

Me too got pissed off with mamiji's red's binness but I think, that's short lived only. CVs 'll make Vicky realise Dev's value thus make mami too aware of all these that bcoz of Dev only, Vicky got wat he have today. Dev is a wonderful husband in season 1 too but was nt able to support Sonakshi @ her crucial times but now Dev is able to do that too , indeed making him a husband goal. Ishwari too is understanding n supportive. Actually there's no point in expressing our displeasure as everything already done n all wrapped up. Let's cherish till it lasts...
Btw, I liked super hero related talks. " Meine aaj tumhara cape washing machine me daal diya hai toh tum mere cape pehen lo". " Kya roz roz tum chaddi pe daal girakar aate ho ? Normal insano ke tarah andar nahi pehen sakte ? "

Dev to Sona ," Aisa kisi books me likha nahi hai ki pregnancy ke time sense of humour gandha ho jaata hai" 😆

Sona to Dev , " Pregnancy ke time har pregnant lady ko pata chalta hai ki uska pati ka dimag kharab ho jaata hai" 😆

Dev Sona scenes...miss those for sure 💔

Watched yesterday, Monday, 08/21, episode and re-watched it this morning. I am so proud of my 3D, my Dear Dev Dixit. It's a treat to watch him changing himself for Sonakshi and their child. It was so cute to see Dev learning to take BP, changing his office schedule to match with Sonakshi's to keep her stress free, convince himself and his Maa that Sonakshi's happiness lies in her work, making their office working mother friendly, making himself available for Sonakshi and so on. Dev being my most favorite character on the show, ALWAYS, I am finally extremely satisfied seeing him happy and content with his life. "Bhagwan Uski Khushi Ko Meri Bhi Nazar Naa Lage... "

It was Love to watch Ishwari and Soha especially, talking about baby with Sonakshi. Also loved Soha-Golu Conversations.

It still annoys me to hear RR talk about how hard her son is working in making his (?) business successful. I so badly want her and the whole world know how Vicky became the businessman that RR so much brags about now. I am doubting more and more on this wish of mine coming true in next four episodes. Let's see...

Coming to Vicky, it is so true that when you are given something without any hard work, you just don't appreciate the value of it and eventually will not enjoy acquiring it. Deep down Vicky, in his own conscience, now realizes that he never deserved things he got from Dev. It was nothing he ever earned; it was charity from Dev and whether he admits it or not, he will never enjoy it. And same for Elena, her moral values will always make her regret due to how she treated Dev for person like Vicky.

As everyone feels, there are so many loose ends in the entire story that are not going to be tied due to rushed closure of the show, however I am still happy with the ultimate outcome of the entire series. Running a show for a year and half which is loved by masses and that too on SONY was an award in itself to this series - it was like making an impossible possible. Besides makers, I give credit to the actors who lived and breathed the characters. Actors were the ultimate face of the show for us - The Viewers. My sincere thank you to all of them.

Yesterday's episode, in many ways, was a trip down memory lane for me... Watching yesterday's episode reminded me of the many reasons why I fell in love...

1. First of all, in my previous post, I was worried about how much of Soha we are going to see... And, Soha's gesture of buying clothes for her unborn brother/sister (I know that she said brother, but she also bought a dress with pink in it and a shirt) was so beautiful and sweet...

You know, Soha might act like Sona but her heart is just like Dev... Also, her scene with Golu in the school was just so adorable...

I wish Dev would also have been present when Soha presented her surprise to Sona... But, still hopeful of seeing some more of Dev-Sona & Soha interactions...

I am sure that Suhana will be a great elder sister... After all, she has both Dev and Sona as role-models on how to be a good brother or sister...

2. Second, Ishwari's scene with Sona (as well as Dev) was so heart-warming... She was concerned but also, accepted that her daughter (in-law) is not someone to sit still...

Loved her loving touch to Sona, when she was departing to office with Dev and then, her pampering Sona after she came back...

Plus, the amusing banter between Sona and Ishwari reminded of how far they have come in their relationship... The friendship that I used to love to watch in the first few episodes is now finally back...

The level of comfort between the two is growing deeper and now, I just cherish their scenes...

(I loved how Ishwari acted like a loving grandmother defending Soha and her expression when she saw the gifts...)

3. One of the things that I absolutely love about this show, is the subject matter/content... While other shows are busy showing kidnappings and murder plots, this show had the courage to tackle subjects (even though, the writers knew that in Devakshi, they can get away with showing crappy stuff, by showing more Devakshi romance).

I admire the writers and the makers to show tracks like senior citizens (especially, women) embracing and re-discovering their own identities... As well tracks like live-in relationships...

4. But, through Sonakshi, I loved how they tried to show that how a career-oriented woman can still achieve success, not only in her professional life but also her personal life and fulfill roles of a mother, wife, daughter, etc...

No doubt, many women adore her character... I still love the fact, that the ambitious woman that I saw in the first episodes, is still present during the last few episodes...

5. And, now coming to the 'most supportive husband award winner', our very own Mr. Dev Dixit...

This man still continues to baffle me and gives me more and more reasons to love him, with each passing episode... In him, writers have truly found a gem of a character...

I have definitely seen a lot of husbands (in the world of TV), who take immense care of their wives, but he is the first one who realized and connected with feelings of others and does actions like the we saw yesterday, when he tried to make his office, a better workplace for pregnant or expectant mothers...

Many people share their sadness with the world but very few share their joys and happiness with others.. And, Dev is definitely the latter...

And, again, this trait is something that is indeed been a part of his character since the beginning...

He was an individual who changed the healthcare plans of his employees (where he focused on the nutrition part) after he saw the positive effect the presence Sonakshi had on Ishwari's health...

In the second season, one prominent incident that comes to my mind is when Soha called him 'Papa' for the first time, he celebrated that occasion by taking Sona, Soha and Golu to an orphanage and spreading the joy with those young souls...

Yesterday, his gesture can again be cited as a prime example of this trait...

So, I am absolutely loving that the core characteristics of our beloved characters are still present... Probably, this is why, we still are able to connect with them so strongly..

6. Many people are slightly miffed about the lack of physically intimate scenes between Dev & Sona (And, they are demanding scenes like the one we saw between Vicky and Elena.. Ahem..)

But, in my opinion, by not showing such scenes, we are able to focus on their relationship and the progress that they have made... During the first marriage phase, many people believed that only physical attraction or lust was the primary reason for both of them getting married...

But, now, after their reunion, it is obviously clear that what we are witnessing now as well earlier was love... It was their love for each other that allowed their brief marriage stint to go as long as it did... But, love also needs other factors like trust, faith and respect to blossom..

Unfortunately, both of them were unable to properly prioritize each other and their marriage and hence, resulted in a bitter separation... But, now, we can definitely see that despite the hurdles, we no longer feel like we are watching two people who are on the brink, but still see them as a pretty stable unit...

On the other hand, Vicky-Elena's relationship might have begun as a whirlwind romantic adventure but with time, their marriage has become stagnant and it feels like we are slowing seeing their marriage turn out to be more like Mamaji-Mamiji...

Now, only their attraction for each other or Golu (if they say so), have become the reason for them remaining together...

So, even without showing physical intimacy, Dev and Sonakshi now has an aura which you usually expect around married couples (at least, stable ones)... And, considering Sona's pregnancy, we can definitely conclude that they do share a healthy sex life...

But, we also know that there are other more important things (apart from Soha), that binds them together...

On the other hand, Vicky-Elena's relationship has suffered enough blows... That, any other massive blow might become the knockout blow for them... And, unlike Dev-Sona whose love for each other still remained intact, despite the long separation, their relationship will not be able to survive such an event...

Wow... Quite a long analysis... But, frankly, I don't know how much longer will I be able to write such posts with the increasing shortening and rushing...

-Suyash.

P.S: This post has been written to express my opinion for the episode aired on 21st August (Monday)...

Due to work, I am posting this post after watching today's episode (Tuesday 22nd August)... And, this was the first episode since the news came out, when I really felt the rush... And, it is pretty obvious that too many things will be happening in the next two days...

At least, in that way, we will be able to enjoy the last episode at a pace that we have come to expect from KRPKAB...

And, a personal request to all the writers.. At least, try to be as active as much as possible..

This is our last thread... Even, we are slightly disappointed with the way that our beloved show is bidding us farewell.. And, many of us are slowly detaching from the show to shield ourselves from the incoming pain...

The silence on this thread, especially this week, is making me feel like the show has already ended... At least, let us just enjoy the moments that we all experienced due to this thread and remember the fond memories that we have spent chatting for hours...

On YouTube, there was an interview of Shaheer which was uploaded today. According to that Shaheer is coming back on Sony TV with a new show. Here is the link for the interview --

He says it towards the end of the interview. Also there was another one in which it said it is going to be the same cast as KRPKAB with Shaheer, Erica and Roop Dugral(the one who played Natasha) in a love triangle. It also said Supriyaji will be once again playing the role of mother, but this time of Erica.

It will be very nice it something like this really happens. The same cast coming together to give us something similar to KRPKAB. Keeping my fingers crossed. 😊

Thank you, @sjain about informing me regarding the first 2 minutes... I usually switch around 9:30.. The only reason that I didn't miss half of an episode is because my mother came to know about the change...

Initially, I thought we might get to see a good 20-22 minutes... But, then, when the show ended at 9:40.. I was just so angry.. And, now, I come to know that they also cut an additional 2 minutes...

The episode was sweet and happy but Sony's treatment of our show has just left very sour taste in my mouth...I will probably pen down my opinions either tomorrow or on Thursday, with my views on tomorrow's episode...

I know that doing an analysis is sort of... pointless.. But, I just want to talk with you guys, little bit more...

Please write something.. I am really starting to feel like I am the last one...
