Looking at all the segments, it appears that everything is centred around Ishwari's reaction and Ishwari being all over Sona 😆 She is excited and even came up with a name. Now am still holding on to hope that they are just shooting other scenes when Shaheer is not available for shoot cos I will be really disappointed if we dont get proper Dev-Sona scenes about this. I know Ishwari is excited to be a grandmother (she already has 3 grandkids if we include Golu) but I still understand cos its her Dev and she missed the whole process with his first born. But please move on 😆 I demand focus on the parents. Show some mercy Mamta 😆

Not a little.. I would say fully.. Suhana would benefit so much from the upbringing that Boses can give her alongside the Dixits.. Her mama, bua etc are all part of her family

Dev & Sona would benefit a lot from spending time in the Bose House. Asha needs to see Dev parenting Suhana and translate it to Sona.. Asha can be a vital link

However, my issue with the Boses has always been that they are so magan in their own world (from S1 E1), that they tend to forget that Sonakshi has wishes of her own (That scene when she walks into Bose house where the 4 of them are discussing baby Bose and she is at the doorstep says it all) . I dont judge families where sons and daughters contribute equally to their household. My problem is Sonakshi has the duties of a son (in a patriarchal family) but the rights of a daughter (e.g. she has to vacate the room for dada's child..). The Boses had no retirement plans.. And I will again say, this is because of Asha.. not because of Bijoy. So its not interference... its the pull they have on Dr Bose that I have a slight issue with

As much as I had been having disagreemets with you over the various analysis threads😆(glad if you don't recall), this was new when coming from you.

Yeah and I would maintain Boses had very little effect on Sonakshi's married life at least in S2.

She shouldn't wean off anymore. A little bit of relation to parents should always be maintained.

She and dev will mentain relation with ma and baba and dada and ronita also but she should free her from business stress . For how much time she will be son of the house who is taking finencial decisions and matters she had done her duty by making them secure . Now dada should take part na.

That woman Iswari Dixit lost her family for seven years. She did blunders and partly bore responsibility for breaking her son's marriage. Her son whom she loved more than her life left her, hated to see her face...even when he came once in a while he is not the Dev,her adorable son who doted on her. She silently swallowed his bitterness, his anger for making him live a meaningless life without his wife.

Iswari Dixit lived the life of a convict. She is a stranger in her own house. She did not step out of her room...Her Bhabhi Radha Rani took the reigns in hand and ruled over her own Iswari Nivas. RR's son and Bahu lived a happy life with the apple of every one's eyes..Golu. Iswari witnessed the spark of happiness in Dev's eyes only when he is with Golu..

For Iswari to see Dev play with his own kid is a dream that can never turn true.

But suddenly Sankar Shiv, her aradhya looked down on her and smiled. Sonakshi returned to Iswari Nivas,to Dev's life and made her life worth to live again. And the real gift she offered her is her Suhana,Soha,Suhana Dixit, her Dev's own blood . Iswari couldn't have wanted or aspired for anything more than this. She is reunited with her son,her daughter in law and her cute grand daughter. What more could she want?

But Shiv, the kind hearted Mahadev showered his grace yet again. Iswari is going to have another grand child...Iswari Dixit certainly could not control herself. She did many offences in her life. But she repented begged pardon.

Krishna says in Gita that repentance is the best way to redeem our sins. It will open the gates for heaven. Iswari lost herself in her joyous world. She smiled, laughed, she cried before her God.

And she wanted a boy now who will make her relive her life in the same way like she lived and nourished her Dev.

Iswari wanted to name the cute little wonder" shubh" means auspicious.

I don't think any other name will suit as best as " Shubh" for my Dev's son. He will be Shubh Dixit. Wonderful.

My daughter is named Sweta by me and my husband. My mother in law named her Gayatri. We fixed her name as Sweta Gayatri.

If Dev and Sonakshi want they can add some other name to Shubh.

For,Shubh will look apt with any other name. I am sure it sounds good.

Welcome Shubh Dixit...to Iswari Nivas.

Hello Friends.

Yesterday, Thursday, 08/10 episode, was nice. Here are my happy, sad, scared and "Kuchh Bhi" moments from yesterday's episode. My Favorite scene/moment: After Suhana cuts the cake with her parents and Dadi - Dave silently thanking his Maa, for catching this almost lost opportunity of a small happy moment of his life, was just more than precious and poignant instant. (Thank you Shaheer and Supriyaji for making it so expressive, touching and effective, at least for me.)

My Happy Moments: 😊

1. Devakshi preparing cake for Suhana in the kitchen The excitement, the joy, the satisfaction and the little kid like curiosity, especially on Dev's face, was just priceless to watch. I wish Suhana could have seen, felt and acknowledged the same.

2. It was delight to watch Ishwari converse with Suhana about her Papa-Momma's efforts and the love they had poured in to the cake they baked for her and how much they love her. I actually loved watching Devakshi more while they were witnessing this conversation and expressions on their faces were definitely worth watching.

3. It was heart touching for me when finally Suhana apologized for her mistake and 3 of them had their little private "1st Suhana Birth Day Celebration" with Ishwari included. Seeing Dave silently thanking his Maa, for catching this almost lost opportunity of a small happy moment of his life, was just more than precious and poignant instant for me.

4. Scene where Dev was blowing balloons (loved his expressions with innocence and mischief) and Sonakshi joins him, gave me nice happy and some comic feelings. Also, the scene in Kitchen area the day of party where they are discussing last minute arrangements and Ishwari watching them. Definitely happy to see Devakshi work as a team on Suhana's birthday celebration mission.

5. Seeing excited, happy and curious faces of Dixit Trio - Ishwari, Dev, Suhana - as they entered the park for Suhans's Birthday Celebration was the most rewarding feeling I felt for Devakshi.

My Sad Moments: 😭

1. Suhana getting first B'day cake cutting with Vicky not her Papa-Momma.

2. It just broke my heart to see Devakshi getting sad with Suhan's fuss over chocolate cake vs. vanilla cake.

3. Suhana Calling Vicky to give him her birthday party location in Chhattarpur. The poor girl does not know she is making the saying right - "Ghar Kaa Bhedi Lanka Dhaaye.

4. RR's unpleasant, unnecessary dialogues making Ishwari and Devakshi sad for few moments.

5. What is wrong with people? Sonakshi again left without any communication of her where about with Dev or Ishwari. I just can't discount anyone with poor or lack of communication in this day and age.

My Scared Moments: 🤢

I have this unwanted feeling that RR's "Good Boy" Vicky is up to something dangerous. Just don't know what and it absolutely makes me very, very scared:

1. Vicky thinking something evil with scary looks and the scary BGM in Suhana's room after their cake cutting.

2. Vicky thinking something evil with scary looks and the scary BGM after Suhana calls him and gives him her birthday party location in Chhattarpur.

My "Kuchh Bhi moments:😕😲

1. Vicky "Pair Pado" to RR in IN while leaving from Suhana's B'Day wish session - seriously?

("Sau Chuhe Khake Billi Haj Ko Chali.")

2. Ronita to Saurabh in half sleep at night "Saurabh Kitna Kaam Karoge Tum? Kal Kar Lena. Chalo Na Sote Hai. - Seriously?

Me to Ronita "Jhuth Bole Kaua Kaate, Ronita. Tell me Kab Jara Saa Bhi Kaam Kiya Hai Aapke Saurabh Ne? Aaj to Suraj Paschim Se Nikla Hai. Please don't jinx it."

Me to Saurabh "Lage Raho Saurabh Bhai (Dada). Finally Aapne Sahi Pakde Hai so don't get distracted."

3. Elena to Vicky "Lekin Tumhari Koi Insult Kare Who Mujhse Bardasht Nahi Hoga." - Seriously?

Me to Elena "Waise To Kahane Ka Koi Matlab Nahi Par Elena Madam Ye Adat To Daal Hi Do Kyun Ke Who Din Ab Jyada Dur Nahi Jab Aap Khud Yeh Honors Apane Haathon Se Karogi."

4. RR to Ishwari "Mere Red Ne Itni Insult Ke Baad Bhi Itna Badappan Dikhaya. Dev Ko Know Hona Chahiye Ke Ek Sirf Who Hi Nahi Jo Good Boy Hai." - Seriously?

RR really made me speechless here with these statements of hers!!! NO COMMENTS PLEASE.

5. Bijoy to Sonakshi "Sona Tu Abhi Ke Abhi Ghar Aaja. "Jo Hua Hai Use Hum Aur Delay Nahi Kar Sakte. "Saurabh Ko Creditors Aur Vendors Se Legal Notice Aaya Hai." "Baki Kaam Hote Rahenge" - Seriously?

Has Saurav ever tried to text message Sonakshi? Has he ever tried to call Dev or Ishwari asking them to have Sonakshi contact him? Did he ever visit her house to meet with her? (Don't they live close to each other?) When you get legal notice, you are given enough time to respond to it. If it came before, wasn't Sonakshi at Bose House recently meeting with all members of Bose house hold? Couldn't Saurav talk to her then? (Or Saurav just walk up from "Pregnancy Sleep" and must finish his work now so he can go back to sleep.) If the notice just came, then what is the rush? What makes it more important than Suhana's Birth Day Celebration for Sonakshi that Bijoy has to tell her "Baki Kaam Hote Rahenge?" - SERIOUSLY? I can go on and on and on...with questions. This is really my most favorite "Kuchh Bhi" moment of the day.

With all that, even though yesterday was a very good episode, it was short of being power packed for me like last few Thursday episodes I am sure it's me expecting too much. I will expect less today and just simple nice decent episode will do the charm for me.

Sorry for the long post. I see 3 pages increased while I was writing my post so will be busy catching up.

Sincerely,

Ji 😃 😃 😃

GKaPyar, nice summation of yesterday's episode. 👏 . Just wanted to say one thing regarding the 4th point in kuch bhi moments. I am not saying that what RR said is true. What I am saying is that is what RR wants to believe. When maamaji neglected her and praised Ishwari and Dev constantly, she compared her and her son with Ishwari and Dev her whole life. And all she ever wants is to believe that she and Ishwari are no different from each other. That they both have given an amazing upbringing for their sons and there is no difference between Dev and Vickky. That is what she is emphasizing from past few days. Ever since the truth of Vickky's manipulations came out. She has been trying to tell everyone that Dev and Vickky are the same. If Dev can be forgiven for his acts, her son deserves it too. She is telling the same to Ishwari. That there is no difference between your upbringing and mine. Only you haven't given your son the values, the "sanskaar", I have given it too. Your son is not the only one who is noble, great, magnanimous with a big heart, my son is too. Only that your son is acknowledged, my son isn't. Now it is my son's turn. You guys should open your eyes and see that my son is no less that Dev and give him his due. The respect and accolades he deserves.

And that is why for me that dialogue that Dev had told Ishwari way before anything in season 1 comes to mind. When he says to Ishwari that she is "alag" from maami. Till now Ishwari is considering her and RR the same, that they are no different. For maami to leave IN, it has to come from Ishwari. Since she is the head of the family. All of Vickky's acts and maami's words are leading towards Ishwari making that distinction. Of how she and maami are different. Not a "family" as she thought them to be. The time of maami's life in IN is numbered.

On another note, I realized another thing. Dev's life was shown as being colorless from the beginning. When Sonakshi brought the jhoola and decorated his room with colorful dupattas, she did bring color to his life. But it was concentrated in only one place. When Ishwari relocated it to the garden because Dev was getting hurt, his life once again became colorless. With Suhana, again color has come back to his life. But it is not concentrated in one corner anymore, but spread across the room. Like the balloons. His whole life is now colorful. And I really liked the way they stopped at 2 balloons near the door where one was orange, the other blue, but were together. The colors didn't mix and was not in one balloon, they were 2 different ones, but together they created something even more beautiful than what they were before.

Again DQ, On principles, I have an issue.

Why should Sonakshi stay in touch only if Soha benefits from the upbringing? What if Boses were a bunch of silly , uncouth, roudy, uneducated lot with nothing to offer. should a woman have no pull from her maternal family...

I don't know. probably I am not getting you here. 😕Perhaps you mean something more deep and me, well I am kinda superficial in serial terms.

If Ishwari was in trouble or if Nikky, Neha, Riya had a crisis, Dev would run to solve it with full entitlement. Why not Sona?

On vacating the room part.. hmmm... Maybe I get you but then Sona already has a place to store stuff. I don't think they'd ask her to vacate room if Bose house had plenty other rooms?

I have many peeves with Sona and Asha in the way they behave with their perfectly capable and intelligent husbands.

Yeah, Boses had no financial planning... it is bad retirement decision. But they aren't so good handling finances since forever.😆

Yeah... I am not explaining myself. I didn't mean to say maternal home should only be used for childcare purposes. It was an example. I did qualify my posts with examples of where the boses' approach to sonakshi makes it a problem for her. I'll reiterate for completeness sake

1. Saurabh Bose borrowed from dev dixit. Why was sonakshi dragged into it/why did she drag herself into it?
2. Bijoy and Asha Bose had no plans for retirement. They totally relied on their son and daughter. When their son was not earning (post devakshi wedding)... as much as the boses didn't want her to pay, what option did she have

Numerous such examples. My point is, boses represent that part of our society which is breaking the patriarchal system but still haven't quite figured it. As a result, sonakshi struggles when she gets pulled in two directions. What is more important? Your brother is getting legal notice or your daughter's birthday? You ask me, there is no right answer. And sona and boses are just working all of this out. That's all

So the show ending is true. Just now saw it on twitter. Wow. So sad and am still in that sense of denial. Not sure what to feel about it as I feel there is a lot of story to tell and there is so many loops that needs to close. Feeling very sad and disheartened. 😭 😕 😲 😭
