@SHAAVI While I do agree that it's difficult for each of them to accept their mistakes which in a way led to Dev's & Soha's sufferings but I do not think Sonakshi can be blamed much for not trusting Dev, the reason I say this is because unfortunately Dev never gave her much of a reason for trusting him as time and again her trust was broken, right during their first break up when Dev in the spur of the moment broke their relation, then hiding the infertility issue even though he did it so that he could keep her away from pain but she deserved to know about it, then when Mamiji accused her parents of being gold diggers yet Dev keeping quiet to Dev unknowingly slapping her father and then asking her to leave the home when she unknowingly fell on Ishwari. In all this unfortunately her trust was broken so it would have been very easy for her to accept that Dev would have signed the eviction & pre nup knowingly, remember the incident when Dev got Ranveer fired as he sent the divorce notice to Neha. All these situations unfortunately added to her distrust . Also it has never been shown till now but it does look like Dev never made any efforts to look for her after that fateful night when they broke up and with a family to look after she really did not have much of a choice but try to forget and move forward in life for her family.

Just my POV, no offence.

SP12, Whatever maami, ishwari and Sonakshi did, they did not do it deliberately. But they did it based on the circumstances and their fear and insecurities. Ishwari did not trust her son or her upbringing and trust Dev. She didn't think that Dev would continue to take care of her and her daughters like before after marrying Sonakshi.

Maami also had similar ideas. She thought that the keys of the house will be passed on from Ishwari to Sonakshi and she will be left hanging. That once Sonakshi was accepted by Ishwari, she would become disposable. All the manipulations she did was to avoid being ousted out of IN.

Sonakshi too is in the same boat. She too felt that Dev might leave her at a moment's notice if his mom said so. And for that she wanted to make her place secure quick and fast. So ended up racing against Ishwari in order to become the best bahu.

Had Dev shown that he would throw any of these ladies out of his life, not really. Yet they gave into their fears and acted the way they did believing Vickky when all three of them had seen his less than stellar behavior. All three of them knew him to be a liar, yet when the time came trusted his word against Dev. They went with the "What if" that Dev is asking today. With bus incident, he asked "what if I was a few minutes late". With the Vickky trying to sell the software to Takkar he is asking "what if I was a few hours late". The thing is all these 3 ladies saw him as their savior. So seeing him as person with his own fears and insecurity is scaring them. They are not able to handle it in the best way possible. They are trying to use what they know of him to keep his image of stability alive so that they can feel secure. He has become their anchor, that pillar of support.

What Vickky has done has shaken them to the core and they are looking for explanation. At this time they want Dev to be that someone on whom they can rely on for everything. And Dev is showing his emotional vulnerability at this time and it is making them to act the way they are doingn now.

I think this is slapgate lite. It allows us (And sona) to see how Dev's implusiveness is not the be all, end all. However, it can undo a lot of his hard work. Dev has anger management issues and I would say it's time they are dealt with.

Haven't watched the episode yet, but by going with the written update, it feels like there is a build up for two things. One is Ayaan track where no one believed Sonakshi when she said that there was something fishy about him. In that too maami says to Ishwari you did check with everyone regarding Ayaan right and tells Sonakshi she is wrong. In that finally with that video proof of Ayaan with Kushi is what convinces everyone. It is at that time that Ishwari threatens that whosoever wants can leave the house if they are not ok with her decision after she throws Dev out of the house.

My guess is they will show the track in similar way where Dev fakes like how Sonakshi did to trap Kushi. And then shows that proof in front of everyone. Or maybe it is Sonakshi again who does that. Which will lead to maami realizing that Vickky never changed and that he can never come back to IN or the realization will be too late and Vickky would have already done the damage. I am now very much looking forward to the episodes towards the end of next week.

The other thing I feel is that white cupboard in Dev's room. It was only opened once in the beginning of the series and maybe one other time by he himself. After seeing Sonakshi bring her memories to IN, I feel that the makers will show Dev opening that cupboard. While Sonakshi's memories are pleasant and colorful and happy, his memories aren't. It will be interesting to see how that will be handled.

Whatever it is I have the feeling that maami's life in IN is coming to a full circle. And that is more exciting for me right now. 😃

The three ladies in Dev's life are trying to ruin him by coaxing him to accept Vikky back. Whether Dev can still stick to his belief or not I have no guess. I wish he should unleash his feelings by bursting out in front of his family. Atleast that may bring the three back to sensibility. Vikky as of now is looking already like a villian in appearance also. It is easy to find out he is fake but all three Iswari,Sona and Soha could not accept the facts.

Lakshmi, and that is what will make the future better for them in a way. They have to do this as they feel that they are better judge of people. And they feel that Dev is naive in this. The way he has been seen from the beginning of the show is that he has low EQ. But that is not the truth. He has high EQ. That is the reason he is a better judge of people. But he never let anyone know that as he wanted them to feel like they are in charge. He saw how happy Ishwari was/is when she feels in charge. It is the same with Sona and Soha. In the episode where Sonakshi is trying to make Dev understand about Nikki and Laksh's relationship, he doesn't say that he has already accepted them. I am referring to his conversation with Nikki in the middle of the road before Sonakshi tries to convince him. He himself tells Nikki that he wants her to tell him why Laksh was the right person for her. Still lets Sonakshi feel that she is the one who convinced him. But at the end of it he turns it into romantic and kind of changes the tone in such a way that she doesn't realize that she didn't pull the strings.

It is the same with Soha. He wants her to feel she is special and important to him. That she has power over him. It is not to say that she doesn't have that power, but even with that he is still the one in charge. For him the happiness of this family comes first and hence doesn't really impose his decisions on them. He goes with what is expected of him as that would make them happy. His main vices are "impulsiveness" and "anger management".

And that is what will lead to him bringing Vickky back home. He knows that just because he is saying in words, none of them are able to see what he is seeing because they haven't really seen Vickky's that side of him that he has seen(Hope I made sense). And my guess is by bringing him home, Dev is being the smart one and although he is late to the game started by Vickky, he is a quick learner. And Vickky thinking that he has outsmarted Dev is going to be his biggest mistake. And he needs to do that for the whole family to see who he really is. And my guess is Dev will unveil Vickky's true face. And after that there will be no place for him to hide. And it is after that, that the three ladies will begin to trust him and his understanding. This will also lead for Dev to trust himself and stop being so dependent on the happiness of others at all times. And the Dixit family will be like how they show in the banner.
