Yes. They both go so well with each other..together they can be called a unit.
I think Sonakshi is the most fortunate female lead who got this advantage of utilising " benefit of doubt " whenever she faltered or became the object of criticism,this great armour called benefit of doubt saved her like a devastating weapon or an armour that can not be pierced.
My colleague who is an obsessive Sonakshi loyalist entered the staff room much to my discomfort. Already I am in a very bad mood seeing the previous episode that left no hopes for me or crushed all my hopes of Sonakshi informing Dev about Vicky's misdeed seven years ago.
As such I don't want to interact with her and spoil my already spoilt mood." I have a class right after the break..I said indirectly hinting her that I am done with Sonakshi and any argument reg.last night's episode. She may say Dev is short tempered and throw Vicky out. So to maintain peace in family she held back. But my friend made me dumbfounded with her defence." Don't you see how busy he is? I lost my patience." I did not sense any intention to tell him the truth. But Sonakshi is against keeping secrets among family members. Don't you remember Mrs.Mandal issue? Now she is doing what Dev did then. Why?"
My question met with a look of pity directed straight towards me. She tried to explain." You know Boses are sorted out people. They can handle any mess and swallow any truth. But Dixits? They are weak,vulnerable,unorganised...
I felt desparate. By now I know by heart all the adjectives that she use for Dev and his family.
I drank cool water from my bottle to calm myself. I said in a composed tone." What she did yesterday I can never digest. Even Elena looked distressed and swayed by emotions. But Sonakshi? Not a glimpse of repentance on her face. She is so cool and doing her work as if nothing had happened. Isn't it her duty to say sorry Dev? When will your Sonakshi Bose feel guilty and regret for her misconceptions? I doubt the serial will end but I won't hear the golden letters sorry from her mouth. "
I stood and walked to my book shelf to take the book,trying to control myself.
My friend placed her hand on my shoulder and said with a smile." Relax dear. Sonakshi knows everything. She just gave the last chance to Vicky. She warned him. Isn't it enough?
I threw the duster on my table with force." Warning? To Vicky? Will it work? She owes Dev an apology. She should have done that by this time. He is innocent in eviction issue.I argued.
My friend still is undeterred. She said." Sonakshi will set right everything. Give her benefit of doubt."
I nodded my head in desperation and walked towards my class. Benefit of Doubt. Again saved Sonakshi.
God save Dev Dixit...and the saga continues..
