Dev can not live without Sonakshi. He will become lifeless,without her in his presence. That is why we could see Dev come back to life with the entrance of Sonakshi in season 2,

Sonakshi can live without Dev. But she also could not bear to be away from him. We could see her realisation of her love for him more in season2 than in season 1.

Yesterday's, 07/18, episode for me cleared one of my confusion from the previous episode. In 07/17 episode I was unable to understand Sonakshi and Gunday sequence but 07/18 episode gave me idea on why the sequence was added, however still failed to make me understand the way it was portrayed. Now I am in agreement that this sequence was needed to link Dev's over protectiveness due to fear of losing Sonakshi again coming up in the upcoming track, however I still feel disconnect due to the way it was handled. I firmly believe that it could have been handled differently. During the whole Sonakshi-Gunday sequence, Sonakshi's behavior was very inconsistent. She was shown scared at one moment and normal at another. After the whole incident, she was shown totally normal which was very abnormal for the situation she had just gone through. Anyone, whether it's male or female, in this situation will be disturbed and will stay upset for at least a little while. Here Sonakshi was shown scared just before Dev appears, so much normal when Dev arrives that she was trying to calm Dev while he was fighting with goons, again scared expression on her face while hugging Dev and then absolutely normal in the car while they were driving back home. On top of that she even asked Dev to stop at the coffee shop. Her behavior did not support the scary incident she underwent. In my opinion, because the sequence was created to support future over protective side of Dev due to his fear of losing Sonakshi, should have been shown as a dream sequence just for Dev. This would have supported both Dev and Sonakshi's reactions - Dev being in fear and Sonakshi still with normal behavior. People can argue here that Sonakshi has always been shown a strong person, but her calling Dev herself for help showed that she was frightened in the situation she was in but somehow failed to give me that feeling the way it was portrayed.

Rest of the episode for me was as usual, normal episode. I am very much trying to get connected to Dev's character with the new hair style but having the hardest time to do so. Shaheer looks like a little, innocent boy with this new hairdo which is failing me to connect with his excellent acting skills as Dev Dixit, The Man. I had predicted and hoped for another hair cut for him in very near future in one of my posts and am definitely praying and waiting for it unless the future story supports Dev's character with the new hairdo. I really want to take pleasure and satisfaction of his awesome and superb acting skills during this new "Pyar Ka Rang" segment/track and hope I am not disappointed, so Shaheer and makers please...please... do needful!!!!

Hi every one, after reading so many beautiful posts and analysis I am putting my thoughts regarding to the current track and the discussion regarding Vickki. Now First of all my post is the combination of various thoughts which come in my mind after reading various posts First of all about the current track where sona get attack by some drunken men. To be very honest it is difficult to decide the that it was an attack or not. Because it could be be attack which can done major damage or it could be nothing. Now before I discuss various other aspects We have to understand that both dev and sona are the two different persons who madly in love with each other what to be with each other now can't live without each other but they are the different persons. They are having their own strength and weakness. And now what they are and how they react last 7 years had a very important role. If you ask me I don't find sona foolish or stupid. Because some her techniques like going to the bus stop and stand near the leady had been done myself but but after that I let go that incident and started my normal life again .so I am able to connect it with this fact that she feels safe as she is standing with the lady and when she see the same two persons again she take the decision to take the bus but at the same point she inform dev about it so she was correct from that point she given the details which are available to her and about going to the meeting I am ok with it yes she try to avoid it try to ask that can dada manage the meeting but when she understand that there is no other way she decide to go but this detail bring the another question in my mind that why every thing is still depend on sona. Why I am not able to saurabh in the office and meeting the client. He must be managing certain things but the most of the decisions are still done by sona so up to what extend she is going to do this. Suppose tomorrow she and dev decide that they will have the another child or she want to help the dev in business and vickki is not in the picture so in that case what will happen. Another important aspect is this going to create a problem as this can make the ronita's mom insecure in future. Now I totally understand dev and his fear and I am sure sona also understood it but she is still to understand the depth of this .At this point he is trying to protect the sona from any danger at where he feels her name and his appearance in any form will able to provide the safe zone to her he is ready to use it. From her point of view this behavior is the reaction of the last night incident but it is much more and she will understand this when dev will open up with her and share his fears when he will share it which will happened and they will communicate and come on the certain common grounds where she will find the way by which she can give him he assurance that she is with him and safe and he also need to understand his over protectiveness due to the fear is affecting it I am sure that they will have an heart to heart communication which is required. And at the same point some of you have the feel how she can be so normal so to answer for it that is she the strong person when it comes to the acceptance. Means I will give my own example it is personal but I will share it. My father's death was very sudden it was like before 5 min. he was with us and after that he was no more and some how now he is not with me this I have accepted very quickly mean I was like telling his sole that don't warry about my mother I will take care of every thing. I practically accepted that he is not us and now we have to proceed so from my point of view it is happened and now we have to accept it doesn't mean that I don't love him or it is not going to affect me. It affected me but as I am the practical person my brain help me accept this fact which come as a biggest shock for me and my family. So sona has become the practical person now it could be the affect of last 7 years. and it is possible that as @sam mention in her post that is to come to the normal form is the sona's way deal with the situation.She loves dev but to represent that love her ways are different. It is the another aspect that when dev will be in such danger then also her first reaction will be how I will save him after that I am not sure but I think we will also able to see the protective side of her but her implementation will be different.

Now coming to our Vickki babu he is going to make the blunder and Elena is going to leave him. I am having an another question that is Elena loved vickki means the original Vicki or the person who is in front of him. What will be her reaction when she will know about the vickki's deeds in the past or what his planning and going to fail. At this moment she is hurt but what about her love for the vickki is it going to be intact like dev and sona. They were away from each other but they still love each other their love was safe in the heart. Lets see what happened.
