Meher i had same doubts as urs and they still not not fully solved. What i have understood is that Sonakshi's fears and inhibitions are still not gone. Hope i will be able to convey, what i meant. Three things which have hit her chord
1) Dev's going away, this time she was actually seeing him getting engaged to someone else. She never thought he would get engaged to someone else. He never remarried in last 7 years even without knowing about Soha and the present situation is completely different. When it actually happened, she broke down. It actually shook her to the core. Bijoy's words didn't soothed her n her pain kept on increasing.2) Ishwari's opening of her heart. It was one of her biggest fears even after she forgave everything. But now when Ishwari opens like anything, one of her major issues decreased. N most importantly she was straight forward. She accepted her mistakes openly n all those which bothered Sonakshi.3) Bijoy released her from promise. When she promised bijoy, both ishwari and dev's cases were not there. There was no plans for dev's re marriage or ishwari's opinion was changed. She was in a comfortable zone with Dev as friends or co parents. She was seeing no future for them at that point of time. Even while changing tyre, she got hurt and affected but covered up as situations were same. But when it actually happens in reality, it hit her hard; dev moving away and ishwari's coming close. These two opposite forces shook her to the core n she felt the difference between saying and doing. By freeing her from promise, Bijoy gave her autonomy to choose herself. More than Bijoy, she was binding herself with that promise. So in a sense Bijoy gave her freedom to free herself.I don't think she is over her past yet. As off now she can't see Dev going away, but she is still scared and unsure. It was not only Nisha's feelings but her own fear that was stopping her to stop the engagement. It would have been lovely if her monologue was shown, but lets wait for the confession, may be she pours it out then.

Link to my today's thread:
Everything in yesterday's episode was fine except for Elena's that one dialogue,"Itni bhi kya saha he Sona ne iss ghar mein?". Can anyone tell me why was this needed to be said by Elena. Though many of us agree that Sona also had a part in the separation, I don't think we will disagree on the part that Sona suffered a lot in Ishwari Niwas. And Elena is a direct witness to the main two incidents - what all Ishwari told Sona after her return from the temple and also to the slapgate drama. But through this one dialogue, Elena is being shown as insensitive or dumb. Why?😕

Ladies, I have a doubt.
Where is Jatin? His best friend is going to start a new chapter of happiness. Would he not be there to share that happiness? Isn't it strange that he appears whenever Dev disappears and vice versa?
Elena surprised me too as she acted as if she 's quite unaware of wat all tortures sona underwent in that dixit mansion . I think it was jst to show how much ishwari had been changed or the genuine +ve changes in ishwari. Ishwari considered elena as an ideal bahu so far . After the Vaishno devi darshan too, v saw how ishwari was in all praises for elena . But yesterday wen elena blamed sonakshi, ishwari supported sonakshi. Ishwari admitted that bcoz of her , sona had to leave IN. Wen elena said those things , ishwari told her that her MIL was nt Ishwari. So it was all bout ishwari's acceptance n admittance of her misdeeds towards sona @ the expense of elena.
Grace and Aarcha, Elena was neither insensitive nor dumb. The reason she said the things she said from her perspective, based on what she has seen. She was not there from the beginning of Sonakshi's marriage phase. When she came, she saw Ishwari being nice to her in her way. The way she saw was Ishwari was considerate and loved Sonakshi. Elena has seen what Dev and Ishwari have gone through in the last 7 years. She also knows that Sona has family support something that Dev didn't have. Now she has seen both Dev and Ishwari apologizing, kind of bending over backwards and requesting her. Just like when she said in that episode, that Sonakshi was the author and not the victim of circumstances and that she should stop overthinking what Ishwari, Bijoy or Dev wanted her to do. Didn't that day Elena asked if she was doing the right thing. From that perspective what Elena said today was not incorrect. She said things from the way she saw.And that is one of the things about humans. We tend to become biased based on how we feel, what we think. In KRPKAB, till now things have been so seen from Sonakshi's perspective, that it seems that Sonakshi has suffered a lot. I am not saying that she didn't suffer, what I am saying is it is not more than what Dev, Ishwari or Neha suffered. Their pain should have been highlighted too. But that has not happened. If we talk about equality, their emotions are equally important and not just Sonakshi's. The story needs to be seen from each characters perspective to have a bird's eye view.
