Bijoy does not like Dev since Devakshi's first break up.He knew how much Dev loved sona.He witnessed dev taking stand against Ishwari about the prenup papers , yet he never informed Sona about it during the time of their second separation and afterwards. If he enlightened Sona about it she didn't misunderstand Dev in the prenup matter and maybe their separation could have been stopped.😡 Inspite of being a father of a daughter, he always wanted to keep Dev away from Suhana. He also tried to poison the mind of a 6 year old kid (Suhana) against her own father (Dev) which is almost equal to a crime.😡He always kept humiliating & taunting Dev. Bijoy even mistook Dev's good intentions of helping Sourav and the other Boses genuinely almost every time and questioned his morality.😡
Bijoy always exaggerated about his self-respect but behaved like a disgraceful person most of the time.He states that he loves his daughter the most and always wants best for her but he didn't even have the sense to make out the real feelings about his daughter.
He knew that Dev could never slap him intentionally , yet he tried to poison Sona's mind against Dev after getting the unintentional slap from Dev by saying,"main yeh baat kabhi nahi bhoolunga aur main chahta hoon ki meri beti bhi yeh baat kabhi naa bhoole", though Dev apologised for his deed profusely.😡
He try to exhibit himself as a respectable person but he doesn't even know how to show gratitude to others. He didn't show a tinge of gratitude towards Dev ever for giving Sourav rs. 5 crore money.
Dev also helped Bose family in many oher ways. But Bijoy never acknowledged those things. He even made a cheep meaning out of those righteous deeds of Dev by saing that Dev was doing those things for keeping the Boses in hand.😡
Dev got married to Sonakshi despite of know and suffered alone. But Bijoy never felt even an ounce grateful for that.He stated that act of Dev's as a misdeed. But Asha sai the right thing that there is no one who can be better than Dev as a life partner to Sona.He also didn't aknowledge Dev's true and pure love for Sona ever.
HHe never considered Sourav as a grown-up and always imposed his decisions over Sourav. He tried to do the same with Sona many times regarding Dev's matter .
Sona is partially right. Bijoy definitelly has a big hand in destroying Devakshi marriage. He is almost equally responsible with Ishwari for demolishing Devakshi's relationship. But being the moron Bijoy himself he will never understand it , neither he will try to understand!
He deserved this bashing from her daughter.Hope it would enlighten him in the future!

No offence to anyone! But I couldn't stop myself from making this post.

Other's POVs are always welcome.

I wish he had acted like a strict father rather then supportive one and asked sona to handle herself on own after her so called love of life Mr dev dixit asked her to get out of his life
Also when he lost his hard earned cause coz his daughter was in loveee with her mr dev dixit and his family

Sona would have surely learnt a lesson in that case

Sorry dear but I completely disagree with your post...bijoy was always shown as protective from the start... In fact even every father want his daughter to be in safe hands, that's wat the bijoy character also portrays in this show..
According to my POV, he never disliked Dev...it's just that Dev 's unintentional or intentional acts always hurted sona alot in the past which created a wrong impression on dev... And also Bose family gives importance to their self respect when it comes to money or wealth so it didn't occur to him as a big thing at all.. so to me his character is very natural, there is no wrong in his behavior

Strictly my pov no offense please

Well basically I didn't hate bijoy
But I don't like his character
In initial I like him as supportive father
But during marriage his over protective and egotistic nature irritate me a lot

He himself was never perfect but always wish dev as a perfect person
After leap cvs show him as a total egotistic person

He always blame dev and ishwari for d separation
But never accept his mistake

For him sona is always right and dev is always wrong

And sorry he may be a good father But I can't call him a supportive and understanding

Its ok if you worry about your daughter's life.In bijoy's case i feel,at times he pokes his nose too much ,like our old Eshwari.. He failed to understand sona's pain .He is still latching onto old incidents.Time and again, telling Sona, she is strong he must understand her mind too.How long will he be a support to her.Why did he take promise?Sona is strong ,independent and can face anything,as claimed by him,why the hell did he ask her for promise ?Bijoy is an emotional and controlling father.
