Very much rational post! Completely agree with you. Even I used to like Bijoy at first! But since Devakshi's marriage his deeds always irritate me. Nowadays his silly antics become just unbearable!

You can't call it double standards.You are not in a battleground,to always fight.It is about Sona's life,her mind and as Asha said there is soha.From the beginning sona was particular about Dev in soha's life.If Bijoy was a caring father ,he would have pondered as what his daughter wanted.He never did that.His only aim was to drag her way and hide soha from Dev. He kept boosting her morale by calling her strong,independent woman. post leap i hate his character.The title suits him,a moron.

For me neither Ish is a perfect mother nor Bijoy is a perfect father, bcz "perfect" itself is a delusion and an abstract concept.

Both have given support to their respective children, but in case of their love stories, they have interfered and couldn't understand their bacha party emotions.

As far as separation is concerned, i feel Devakshi responsible for it, bcz they let others, which also include their parents interfere in their lives or rather control their lives. They could not draw that boundary line for their relationship from their respective families and specially these two.

As Ish suffered from mera beta loha hai syndrome pre leap, its Bijoy's turn now. I absolutely have no problem with him hating Dev, bcz that is completely justified and correct form his POV. That guy has hurt his daughter and he want him out from Sona's life, fair enough. But the way he is ignoring Sona's pain is very insensitive. N even after repeated reminders and Sona's outburst, he wanted Sona to go for Dev's engagement shopping. It was when he thought Dev is responsible for Sona's outburst, but the scene where he was actually laughing and calling Sona irresponsible bcz she didn't go for shopping with Dev was insensitive. I didn't liked it at all.

See his choice jatin..you can dominate him .thats why he was hell bent on sona getting married to him.what a man,a control freak😡

Completely agree with you. And, post leap Bijoy has done PhD on manipulation also! 😡
