That is how man should be. Men won't be emotional fools when they stand up for right things. That is called manly. I hope atleast now onwards dev will man up and stop crying buckets. It's so irritating to see crying as if mother died.

Thank you for writing this post.

I had been trying to point out the difference between a Mamma's boy and a man who loves his mother since the first break up happened.

But I wasn't being able to provide visual comparison.

This movie is one of the best example of the same.

Loving one's mother doesn't mean that even when she is wrong, you support her in her wrong deeds. When a child does something wrong, a good mother is someone who goes against him and scolds him. Not the one who supports him in his wrong deeds.

Then how can a good son be someone who supports his mother's wrong deeds?

Amarendra Bahubali is a devoted son. I'd say that he is an ideal son. He didn't want a woman's dishonour even if that was his mother doing it. Even if he was not in love with that woman, I have no doubt that he would have still stood up for her.

Not because he didn't love his mother, but because due to the excellent upbringing he was provided by her that he can't let any woman get disrespect and let his mother do anything wrong.

That's a man who loves his mother and respects her. He is a shining example of an outstanding man. A man worthy of being a woman's life partner.

A Mamma's boy can't be anything but a weak willed puppet of his mother because he can't exercise his own brain and follows his mother's command blindly.

Thanks Rajamouli for making this excellent piece of work and showing women what kind of men make the best kind of life partner.

yeah i really wish and hope the cv.s tke some cue from the movie with regard to this..as far as mummas boy and a man who loves his mother is concerned..i thnk the cv.s intentionally wanted to show us a story of a mammas boy falling in love and the issues thereafter...but wat irks me is that even after knowing abt the lies and manipulations of his mom,,the character of dev isnt made to show any change in attitude towards his mom which is nothing but blind devotion...and i wld completely blame the makers for not having the guts to show what they shld actually show..but the positve in me still hopes for some miracle..😆
ps: yeah i loved the movie too..and more so for the reasons i made this post ! hats of to the director !

I appreciate ur observation.

But u know, u can write it without revealing the story as well. I know its just 5mins u r trying to mention, but that just reveals lot more story than that, which is actually the crux of the movie. U mentioned not to read further, but its like dangling the carrot. Hope u update it without revealing all that.

About Dev, what to say. He acts blind in most situations, without considering whats right n wrong when it comes to his mom.

and i appreciate your appreciation of my observation skills ..😳 but regarding revealing the story part, what abt all the news portals n people who review the movie? R they supposed to wait till the whole country watches to movie to finally write down their opinion? Which is why there is a warning "spoilers ahead" . and thats exactly what i did here in big bold red letters..i myself stayed away from all news articles regarding d movie coz i din want anyone to break the suspense..but i cannot blame the people who write articles..can i ? there is somethin called self control in case u prefer to stay away from something..if you are someone like me , you wld go back after readin my warning..and if you r a person who is ok with reading the spoilers before watching the movie, they can go ahead..and the concept of dangling carrot is funny n weird in this context..i am not giving them spoilers to arouse their interest and then preventing them from watching the movie😆..am i ?? i believe everyone here is literate enough to read the warning n then proceed..if you have any issues..kindly report my post.. i am ok with it..i had a thought which i shared..and there is no way i cld share my thought without revealing a bit of the movie ..to show from where i am drawin my comparison.. :)..and thanks for making the first post in this forum ! welcome :)

Amarendra bahubali is best example of perfect momas boy. A mamas boy who follows his moms teachings all the time. He shows perfectly that there is nothing wrong in being a momas boy as he respects and stands by all his other relationships equal dignity and respect it deserves and stands up for what he believes is right all the time.😊.
Amarendra bahubali ki jai ho.
