But the one thing I never wanna see is Sona's Ish Jaap.

I was happy finally to see that Sona friendzoned Dev. I thought this was a good way to indicate that things are not the same between them.
But her monologue 'please say you need me' made me think different.
Looks like Sona will realize that she needs Dev and will confess the same to him later. But what happens to Dev's redemption? It will be very sad if they do not show character growth in Dev . This was/should have been the main plot

Guys, I was watching the old episodes of the show, just finished watching with the infertility track episodes and I was in tears for Sonakshi, Nobody in the family to really understand her feelings and what she is going through, her fear of uncertainty. Dev busy with setting things right for his mom at the cost of Sonakshi's feelings. So much insensitivity of Dev and Ishwari towards Sonakshi, it's unpardonable. I don't know if Dev ever understood her true feelings and what she was going through except that he lied about the whole fiasco for a happy family. All these things doesn't matter now but felt like venting my feelings. Sorry for taking you guys back to the insanity of Dixits.

All atyachar over the female lead is over ...so what else can be shown... pour out ideas...

S1 episodes are a delight to watch despite the one sided scenes and emotions ...

Now see here ... the one who threw the hero out like a cockroach is treating him with a lullaby and rhymes for crying !!!

Every time I felt even inch of sympathy for dev babu , I remember these episodes I was like nah nah dude.you f**ked up really bad .No woman deserve to be treated like her husband and saas treated sona .This is reason why I never wanted them to bring child angle in season 2🤢 Husband can't honor her wife's respect untill she gave birth to child is so much f**ked up and regressive.upar se I can't even enjoy whole family moments because because in the past for sona whole giving child =earn respect , dev babu=mission baby making no matter how just fulfill his mom wish.ishwari = wanted waaris no matter what . All are equally responsible for giving message to those women who are infertile that see this how you get respect ,just pop babies and do pooja of your saas and husband . I don't know why this show has problem with showing woman strength above any relations.

Its way reality is. There will be huge queue in front of fertiliity clincs. Its so costly and has only 30% success rate and painful too. Still people want that only. Nobody is ready to adopt. It would be a win win for all. Once i told my friend who is going through this routine to adopt. She gave me such a dirty look by saying blood should be same. I guess blood is thicker than water. So when reality is like this, would show be different.

Stick with one thing .the way they are showing these reality without any instropection ,validating all act, there should one character who can point out and raise voice about where they are going wrong ,show them mirror . But they normalize these like it's no big deal. Thats why I will not call this show as "progressive " .real yes but not progressive or any different .

It might be reality 90 % of ppl behave such in infertility time when daughter in law are blamed but they don't realize they are humans and god creation
My case was the same in infertility I and my hubby too suffered the most because both were infertile and suffered in the hands of ppl and mother in law but my hubby and parents stood by me and my hubby let me breathe to that phase easily
We didn't go for adoption because neither we liked the idea nor my mother in law allowed us .
We help a kid in education and we do charity instead of adopting we are doing the same
So few men are supportive unlike dev but seen ppl like dev too but ppl like dev do exist either they throw there wives or get married the second time for kids
Infertility is getting more these days blame the society we live in stress level to the life style women live in like diet to be in zero size etc
When will ppl get education that to get a kid both male and female are equally responsible and the gender kid is second problem they want male kid but don't realize to get male kid they need to stop blaming the daughter in law because female is just the carrier but main product is from male
😡

@maharathikarna, fandw, Tinker, Shailu, You know what is the funny thing about this? If the infertility is revealed to be of the husband's, even the most conservative and regressive family turns uber liberal. Suddenly then waris is not as mandatory as it would be if the infertility belongs to a man. No one will then pressurize the woman to get pregnant. In fact, even if the woman is the only daughter of her parents and always wanted to be a mother, still if her husband is infertile, she is expected to be sensitive about his condition. And all this stems from the fact that a son's children is considered to be a waris, not a daughter's children unless there is no son.

Ishwari gave the excuse of her daughter to get equal share in Dev's property when she made him sign pre-nup. When her daughter-in-law is found to be infertile, why didn't she thought that she will make her daughter's children as waris? If Dev was infertile, would she have put pressure on Sonakshi to be pregnant? Hell no.

But she could do that because Dev cooperated with her. If he had stood by his decision and hadn't suddenly turned into an example of regressive man by overturning his own progressive decision, then I won't have been so pissed at him.

But why just blame Dev and Ishwari, when Sona herself allowed herself to be treated as broodmare who has to get pregnant at the crack of a whip and let her self-respect to be dragged into the ground, she is equally to blame. She behaved as a guilty person who as if has done a crime and that's why she was treated that way. Had she kept her head high and asked Dev what happened to his promises and lofty dialogues from the night before? What about her being enough? And that she refuses to be treated like a baby popping machine because he lied to everyone and now his mother is throwing a tantrum. Then Dev would have either had to stand by his words or let her go. Either way, she won't have been in an uncertain limbo where she had to verify her worth based on her body functioning on demand or not in the most degrading way possible where an entire resort knew her very private and personal medical condition.
