CHAPTER 1
It was Saturday and Sonakshi had come early from the hospital. After she was inside her room she went to the bathroom to have a shower as she really needed to relax after such a hectic day. She really had to work a lot today as many doctor took leave because of the weekend and she had to manage their patients as well as hers. Soon she was relaxing under the hot streaming water of the shower.
The whole Bose family assembled on the dining table and the room was filled with some uncomfortable silence as there is going to be decided a serious topic here,so as to break the silence Saurabh spoke up " Arey Sona tera aaj ka din kaisa raha?" to which Sona replied " Arey kya batau dada aapko aaj ka din bohot hi hectic raha aaj bahot lohone chhuttiyan le rakkhi thi toh unka kaam bhi mujhe hi karna pada" making a uff' sound she completed her day's description. This time Asha started the conversation "Sona mujhe tujhse kuch jaruri baat karni hai." sensing the tension in her voice Sona said " Haan Haan bolo na maa, kuch gadbad hai kya?" "Arey nahi nahi kuch gadbad nahi hai. Mein toh bas tujhse ye poonchna chahati thi ki abhi teri shadi ki umar ho gayi hai par agar tu chahe toh hum mangni kar kuch mahino Baad shadi ka soch sakte hai. Bol tere dil mein koi ladka hai ya phir mai dekhu" sonakshi got the point so she said " Nahi maa mere dil mein koi ladka nahi hai aur Jahan tak ladka dekhne ki baat hai mujhe aap sab par pura bharosa hai ki aap jo bhi sochenge mere achhe keliye hi sochenge" " Toh teri haan hai?" Asked Asha excited to know to answer "Haan". Now the atmosphere changed and everyone was gossiping with each other with joy.
After the dinner everyone departed to their rooms. Sona and Elena were talking to each other and Elena was teasing Sona that why did she get ready all of a sudden when she had denied to marry last week when her mother asked her about it, to which Sona replied "Toh mein kya Karti, maa ki meri chinta sataye ja Rahi hai aur mujhe bhi lagata hai ki abhi mujhe shaadi kar leni chahiye par agar mein iss ghar se Chali gayi toh maa-Baba ka khayal kon rakhega?". "Aww Sona tu dusron ke baare me kitna Sochti hai aur teri Khushi, teri shaadi mein bhi dusron ke baare me soch Rahi hai." "Arey mere Maa-Baba hai toh mein hi khayal rakhungi na." All this was heard by Asha, who was watching the scene through teared eyes. Coming in the room she said "Sona", first Sona got startled hearing that but she composed herself and said "Arey maa aap yaha itni raat ko, kuch kaam hai kya?" Asha came towards the bed where Sona was standing and made Sona sit with her on the bed. "Sona, tujhe yeh shaadi karni haina, mera matlab tu khush toh hai, tune yeh faisla jaldbaazi ya phir meri wajah se toh nahi liya?"Sona understood Asha's concern so she reassured her that she was happy "Haan maa mein iss shaadi se khush hu ki agar aap khush ho to mein bhi khush hu aur yeh faisla maine bohot soch samajh kar liya hai" "Par tujhe ek baar us ladke se mil lena chahiye mera matlab aise bina ladke Ko dekhe Tum shaadi kaise kar Sakti ho" "Aapne ladka dekh rakhha hai!" Sona asked surprised "Haan beta, aaj hi Purohit hi ka phone aaya tha dopahar ko, unhone kaha ki unke paas ek acha rishta hai toh maine unhe ghar bulaliya aur unhone photo bhi dikha di par mai woh photo lena bhool gayi toh mujhe lagata hai ki hum us ladke ke gharwaalon ko ghar bulale kal Shaam ko?" Sona hesitated a bit but said " Maa kal shaam kuch jaldi nahi ho jayega?" "Nahi beta, kyunki Purohit ji ne kaha hai ki ladke ki maa uska rishta jald se jald karana chahati hai aur unhone tumhari photo bhi dekh li hai as bas Milne ka intezaar kar rahi hai." Sona felt awkward in giving the answer as she has to make a decision for her entire lifetime, after thinking for a while she answered "Theek hai maa" listening to the answer Asha's happiness knew no bounds "Accha beta toh phir kal shaam 7 baje se pehle ghar pahunch Jana theek hai?" "Haan maa" " Beta tujhe pata nahi ki aaj mein kitni khush hu" saying so Asha hugged Sona with all her might. All this was witnessed by Elena and now she also joined the hug saying "Mujhe bhi toh apne grp hug mein Shamil karo"
And then Asha bid them goodnight and left both the sisters to rest.
