Yesterday's episode gave me lot of positive vibes so i am really happy and satisfied after long time. Even though two out of there main leads are not there in the episode, I still enjoyed every bit of the episode yesterday. Hats off to the entire team, Great TEAM WORK guys. I really don't want to think about the future story since i want to enjoy the episodes the way its served.

Coming to the episode, Its really interesting to see the changing equations in the Bose family since many of you already mentioned about this in elaborated manner, I would like to mention about the other things that caught my attention in the episode.

Its good to see elena and vikky's baby steps towards becoming actual parents for Golu. Even though his bigcha is his world, this kid really misses his parents and their love which he expressed in many occasions before. Finally happy to see at least elena is trying to understand his condition.

Sona-Soha convo gave me lot of good vibes in many ways. I feel her mild breakdown did wonders to her thought process. If not before Dev, she is at least addressing his importance in their lives before Soha without going in to her usual denial mode. Slowly Soha also opening up to Sona regarding her feelings instead of hiding them to keep her mother happy. Such a positive change. Apart from that, I felt their convo is the message for viewers regarding many rumors running around at present.

Finally my favorite part of the episode, Sona addressing Dev's hurt. Such a huge progress in terms of their equation as well as story movement. I am too happy may be because i am too tired of their continuous and stagnant fights. They are struck with their own pain till now, its good to see the first step towards addressing other person hurt. When it comes to relationships, It really doesn't matter who took that first step. Going by the current situation, I dont think Dev can take that step in fact i feel he is in the path of shutting himself slowly. I am seeing lot of parallels as well as similarities between the current track and Dev-Natasha-Sona track. When Sona fell in love with Dev, she started feeling alive. Even though she tried to convey her feelings to him, later she stepped back comparing herself with Natasha. Finally Dev confessed his feelings after his realization. Now with Soha coming in to his life, Dev started feeling alive again. Even though their love never died, with the current events i feel he may step back from their lives thinking Jatin is much better choice than him. Lets wait and see whats there in store since our cv's can turn the story with any kind of surprise at any time.

On seeing Saurav's behaviour yesterday I could not but feel how decent Dev was in the past while making a point about his wife before his mother. When Sona took up to fasting Dev just went and confronted Iswari why she persuaded her to do Vrat. He did not sulk nor did he make it a scene when every one was around. When Iswari clarified she did not instigate Sona he left it there.
In contrast Saurav used the opportunity to expose his long suppressed complex that Sona is getting more importance in his house. If he had a problem he should have asked Asha or not lie when Bijoy questioned them about Ronita. Asha's hurt was clearly seen in her face though she genuinely tried to solve the issue by assuring Ronita that she is like Sona to them. I did not like Mrs Mandal rudely questioning the Boses and I feel Bijoy is going to mend his so called rules for the sake of his DIL. Different rules for SIL I think for Mr Bose.

Coming to Saurav he should have convinced his wife who is willing to understand that very soon his parents will share everything related to Sona with her. Instead he expressed his frustration for the discrimination shown in a disrespectful manner. Sona's pain only is pain not of others...something like that. He said so.

.I would have appreciated him had he said so before his marriage not after Ronita's arrival. Ofcourse he has every right to feel offended for getting sidelined by Bijoy in every matter. I truly sympathise with him. But pointing out Ronita's hurt he did wrong. For ,Ronita's feeling itself is misplaced. How could she expect her in laws to share everything related to Sona so soon! Unlike Iswari who felt Naha issue is personal Asha did not like Ronita to get burdened by long lasting issues. That is why she stopped the conversation.

It is not only women who has to survive and strive hard in a new environment. Men when newly married should know how to deal with parents without hurting them. Saurav threatened to leave the house when theft issue happened. Then he just got engaged. After marriage he went to the extent of blaming his parents in the presence of his wife. Good progress. Bijoy always pointed finger at Iswari's upbringing. I think his upbringing raises questions in his conscience if not today but any time soon. I really hope Bijoy Bose will grow up and identify the real gem he possessed in the form of Dev who never showed disrespect to his mother despite knowing her lapses including pre nup

I liked Soha Sona conversation. It is Dev only but not Jatin who prevailed despite his absence. For Soha Dev is her papa. She may enjoy Jatin's company but she never allows any one but Dev occupy the slot. Sonakshi is opening up gradually and that is a welcome change . I hope she will not hide Khatri issue from Dev. Waiting to see Dev's stance... But no Jatin Sona marriage track please.

Loved it dear👏...i also believe Ronitas issue was exaggerated n there was no need for Saurab to blow things out n that too in a rude impolite manner! ...i feel here the makers intention was to show the stark contrast between Saurab n Dev ,making Bijoy to open his eyes as to what his SIL was all about...He is still also not aware that Dev has taken the theft blame so that loop is still open for Bijoys restropection!

Saurabh is projecting the hurt and differentiation he endured in his family (especially meted out by his Baba), onto matters where Raunitha feels either excluded or hurt. He expects the same treatment that he got for his wife too. But he wants to take a stand for her since for him Sona suffered because of Dev not taking a stand for her in Dixit house. Devakshi and their past is not going to leave any of them in peace be it Dixit house or Bose house. Interesting days are ahead. Ronitha's mom have seen the red 🤣 Will try to be back if I can squeeze some time later.😆

Matching with Geena's thoughts, I have posted a detailed view on why Saurabh behaved so, in the below thread.

2. Jatin and Sona working together as a team where Sonakshi's concerns and worries were given more importance than Jatin's was similar to Dev-Sonakshi working together to find Ishwari after the disclosure of infertility secret where Dev's concerns and worries were given more importance as compared to Sonakshi's. In both the scenes, the missing person was deeply hurt due to misconception created by the incidences they observed and ran away from the house whereas the people finding them held finding the missing person as their top priority.

Deductions:
  • Like I mentioned Asha and Bijoy did not intend to make Ronita feel like an outsider but their actions were misinterpreted which led to Ronita's disappointment. Unlike Sonakshi, Ronita did not voice out her concerns but Bijoy comprehended that something was disturbing her and asked her. When she says that she is missing her parents, Bijoy wanted to abate this emotional stress by calling her parents. In contrast to this, Ishwari did not even make an attempt to address Sonakshi's concerns which were conspicuous although she kinda knew how she felt. Instead of helping her out, she sends her to her parents house not because she was worried for her but wanted to stop her meddling and validate her outsider theory.

Never thought about these scenes in this way.

Regarding, the Vicky-Elena-Golu scene, I think it was just an effort by the makers to create an awareness in such parents who don't find time for their kids. Or is it that, instead of showing us Dev's redemption, they have decided to show us Vicky's redemption...😆

Such great writers here.. awesome reading thorough all the posts..
I loved yesterday's episode. I think it was a very significant episode and even better because it explored all those small thoughts that play on our minds and are not addressed.

Vicky-Elena

This was my favourite part of the whole episode. I remembered Dev's dialogue while watching them.. Soha hi bachpan ek expiry date ke saath aati hai. This was the date that Elena and Vicky have missed with Golu. I see this happening around me where children don't bond with their parents and bond with someone else in the family. The parents usually don't pay any attention since they know that their child is being looked after. It is only after years (sometimes the caretaker is no more involved or suddenly has other priorities, here Dev) that they realise that the bond is just not there and they have to now start from scratch. That is exactly what is happening to Elena. I think Vicky is channelling that into jealousy, he now has more reason to hate Dev.. Dev seems to have the money, the power, the brains and now his childs heart and nothing good is going to come out of this jealousy. On the other hand, I think Elena might turn around. Here, Sona I believe is also indirectly showing Elena on how to parent as a hands on mother. Elena may have done better all these years with Sona around. I am very excited to see where this will lead them. Either they come together and parent or Vicky may lose Elena also in the whole process of hating Dev and all that he has.

Saurabh- Boses

I will not go into the details of all that happened in the episode. One thing really stood out to me. All these days when Dev did not take a stand for Sona, everyone was up in arms against him. Yesterday when Saurabh took a stand for his wife, it just seemed like the wrong thing done at the wrong time. It just shows that there is such a delicate balance to be maintained by the man of the house/husband. We as a society put a lot of pressure on new wives to balance and learn to accept the family but I got reminded of Sona's dialogue during the break up when she blamed Dev saying he did not know how to balance. The question is does anyone know how to balance this. Men are generally not taught to learn to balance relationships. They are told that the wives will adjust, balance, learn to accept a new family. I am so proud of watching a show where there is some onus put on the man saying that he needs to also learn the intricacies of relationships to know when to interfere, what to talk and how to make sure that his house is a happy home. Saurabh went the other extreme here and although I understand that it was some amount of past frustrations that were coming to the fore, his impulsive actions (like that of Bijoy) may have some unfavourable consequences.

I am not writing about Sona-Dev-Jatin since I think the story there is just yet to start (like Sona's dialogue)😛

The kids were so adorable yesterday and I am always in awe of Golu's acting. This is one serial where they get the kids to act like kids. The kids are acting as catalysts in the story while providing us with the most adorable scenes. Its Dev-Golu's scenes that I keep rewatching like we used to watch Dev-Sona scenes in S1.

From personal experience not by a spouse, the one line that touched me majorly is what Dev became, and it showed me a mirror of what I am. From a young age I built and built up the coping of crying alone and not sharing my emotions with anyone that I honestly stopped feeling the pain I used to just like Dev said. The thing that hurts the most is the fact that people you love don't respect your decisions and doubt you. And essentially that pain numbs everything. Due to this I became introverted and stoic to anyone's emotions.

Edited: I am sorry for typing something depressing and broadcasting something that is me. I don't mean to hurt anyone, this is strictly my character and I am not negating anyone else's character.

Aishu...if my memory is correct, you were the one who wrote why Dev never gave it back to RR, as he never saw her as apna, w.r.to your experience. It's ok to sometimes pour out your heart, if you can be at peace after that...😊

Now looking at scenes in Bose house it is clear that Bose house door will not be very open for Sona. So Sona is going to have a major crash with both houses not welcoming her truly.

This is where Jatin Sona can come together as Jatin might have some feelings for her but will not force himself on her.Bijoy will support her fully in this and maybe she accepts this now.
It has become more of a suspense story now

Bolded - daraane ka iraada he kya...Don't want to watch any misunderstanding or fight anymore. If not reunion, want to have atleast a ceasefire between them. Sona already is on that mode. Better Dev also be so.
