All of a sudden a 5 crore invested business becomes non existent and 4.5 crore disappear from bank accounts. Agar koi chq leke jaata hai to I think I am safe to assume the money was in a bank accnt pertaining to one of the boses. So now tell me from where and how on earth they became penniless overnight

As I said in one of my earlier posts, we are so used to play the a la based card for any woman who is subjected to mistreatment by her in-laws that we get blinded .

That's why I said we need to overcome our prejudices to call a spade a spade.

Having ranted so much I am neither giving a clean chit to ishwari nor dev but haan think again before using woman In Distress Walla card for sona at financially

I didn't say that she is penniless ,I said she is jobless. Her family got 4.5 crore , but that was the price of their home and I guess she invested that on business.

jab kudh ki 5 crore is business hain to woh jobless kaise bani? is taking care of one's own business not considered as a job? what exactly according to you qualifies as "having a job". Well before u take it personal let me clarify in my very first post I already said the discussions that will happen in this post will more or less reflect the way our society functions .

We already have a framework for the image of a damsel In distress and anything that comes within the borderline to it we tend to push into this framework.

Bura mat manna I see ur points to fit into what I classify as society in general

Brilliant!! Exactly my point. That is why in numerous posts I've refused to blame Ishwari for her children's faults and why I think Dev has a motehr who will move the mountains for his happiness.

Ishwari was never rude to others. She loves her son. He is her life support system but she was never shown to hurt her other children. Given the life she had, she made the choices with the best of intentions. When push comes to shove we all have to make the tough choices and she did too.

If only Dev had trusted his mother and kept his promise and told her about his love for Sona, before Ishwari found out, this story would be so different. Ishwari wasn't inherently insecure, she was pushed to insecurity because of Dev's one lie :-(

In a world where woman are still fighting for their rights, Ishwari has done incredibly well to be able to bring up a family, buy a house and live right in front of her abuser (Khatri).

Here is to all woman who can fight through tough times and all men who care to worry for a woman!

P.S: I am not a blindly supporting woman sort of feminist. My favourite character is Bijoy Bose but I have a huge soft spot for Ishwari. Maybe because, I see my grandad in Bijoy and my mum in Ishwari :-)

If the business was profitable in the initial months ,she would have use the money in paying the amount Dev invested instead of selling her home.. When she decided to give back the money to Dev it was pretty clear that the only option they had was to pledging the house .
And no I don't have the habit of considering every criticism as personal bashing . You want to put me in the general category ,I don't have any complaints 😆
I was just stating that even though Sonakshi is educated the challenges she faced as a pregnant woman and single parent was not drastically different from Ishwari but she ended up as a successful woman rather than sulking around and frequently reminding others including her kid that she sacrificed a lot now you sacrifice your happiness.

Both Ishwari and Sona had a tough struggle managing baby and money matters. The difference is Ishwari made sure her kids know of the struggle and doesn't let them forget the miseries by going into flashback mode every now and then. She never let Dev forget the past and in almost her alternate sentences she used to recall the past incidents. I don't know whether it was to make Dev always grateful to her and under her obligation or she herself doesn't want to live in the present.
Sona has hardly engaged Soha in any such communication about their struggle. She is not trying to garner any kind of sympathy from her daughter and trying to give her as normal a life as possible.

thanks for responding kamala, after having replied to your post , i went back and seen the story so far. sona did go back to her old job post marriage, so there is no way she would have been jobless right, ( the massage wala scene where she comes back from office, or the ayaan and kushi scene in the coffee shop where she goes to meet her client)

so Dev might have taken away the shelter from their heads, but did not take away their means of livelihood . this brings in another interesting question if sona was employed already, had a 5 crore business on hand, with 4.5 crores of cash stacking up in a bank account, where from Jatin helping the boses financially come into the picture 😉😉. woh bahut kuch wala dialogue abhi bhi hazam nahi horaha hai 😛

by saying general category, i did not mean it as an offense, rather it was a reference to most of the posts i see here on IF in favour of sona.

of the posts i read most of them use the adjectives like, sona was left jobless, penniless, homeless in the middle of the night with her family thrown into streets, followed by expletives used by dev after she rejected his request to reconcile.
i am not belittling the efforts of a single mother, heck you dont have to be divorced , even those wonderful families where woman have to stay away from their spouses for whatever reasons( job, education, or any even a business visit) the struggles that a woman with kids faces will always remain the same.

you were right when you said, we do a lot for a kid but then we don't expect them the kids to be on sacrificial mode .

i hope with our discussions, atleast a few of them can start to see things in a different perspective . i would consider myself successful in posting on forum if atleast one of the readers can start to believe that alternate views do exist and they are as real as you and me.

before i sign off , a sincere thanks for engaging me, a dialogue would not have been possible without a willing participant.😃

we generally talk abt ishwari in negative. she has been a villian always.
all the posts we do in this forum are based on an episode.
but this post has a speciality,
wherefrom ishwari got so many praises. she was not shown to be vgud in any of the recent episodes atleast.

but still now praises are being showered on her.

according to me it is the power of motherhood, the struggle of a single woman which will surface out like any other truth, nomatter it is in tv or real life.

hatsoff to all mothers👏

Thanks a lot... as you came with different layer of ishwari's character.
I used to think about ishwari as Inscure mother who do not want share her son. But today I realized, ishwari treated as God by Dev not just because she is mother but because of strong women he saw in her who raised all her kids with good education and values(except some flaws, but it is acceptable coz nobody is perfect), who fought all evils for her kids..
May be ishwari has some flaws but she is strong women, I will definitely give her respect for that.👏

Thank u one and all for taking time and reading my post. Thanks for sharing your views.
To those who still have doubts and complaints about Ishwari and Sona's struggle as a single mom .. i just wanted to say this, my pov is based on ishwari before Sona and Sona after Ishwari Or Neha before her marriage.
We should not forget the core fact that whatever mistakes they all have done in their life's knowingly or unknowingly, their struggle is not fake.
Talking about Neha, I was talking about her as a Daugther. Yes she was a fussy girl but according to her, she has her own reasons and I won't go to that level of details. As no body is perfect including me ... we all (most) of us Also grew up complaining about different things like food , clothes, sibling fights etc but again every one situation is different though.
After achieving success, status and money, ishwari's children could have turned out as a spoiled brats as we see currently in Rich societies. We are witnessing everyday, how the boys n girls misuse the parents money and get involved in booze n drugs, considering that to hi-Fi status. We have to applaud Ishwaris upbringing of her children, who have good value systems and well grounded on these issues. I'm sure it was a tough life for a mother of 4 children to go thru that process.
The reason I made this post because we all talk about women rights, women empowerment, positivity etc etc etc
But, just because we hate any character(person) we should not chose to be blind or deaf or mute ourself in expressing the positive side of any women whether it is Ishwari or Sona or Asha or Neha or Rita or Nikki or Ronita or Ronitas mom or even Gkb.
Thanks to Dev,Sona and DevAkashi fans for coming forward and appreciating the struggle of a single mom especially with out much supportive system even if she's portraying a negative character currently!
