Am sorry but the show makes zilch sense right now. The characters behave like they please with no consistency depending on what drama the writers wish to create.
1. Dev went from taunting his mom and asking her if she expected Sona to give up her life for this relationship (and the numerous other things he told her in the FB) to defending her in yesterday's episode. About how she tried her best to save the relationship. Are you kidding me? If the thought process behind this is the attitude that 'I can say anything to my mom but not the rest', atleast show it. But here it looks like he wholeheartedly believes whatever shit he spoke and he had some kind of personality transplant. Such pathetic and lazy writing on part of the CVs.
2. Sona had that conversation about the theft with Dev and Asha and just forgot everything? Why did Sonakshi and Dev not even bother to have a proper conversation post that? They just randomly jumped to fighting over other things?
3. Why is Sona still so polite to Ishwari? No, I dont expect her to insult her or get abusive but there was just no need to act so sweet and polite after all the stunts Ishwari tried to pull. Sona is mean and bitter when she is with Dev but doesn't show even half the bitterness when with Ishwari. And you dont have to be disrespectful to elders but when you know an elder has destroyed your life and still openly threatens you about snatching your kid, being nice to that person is nothing but foolishness (or rather ideal sanskari Indian heroine mode 😆).
4. Why did Jatin go from 'Dev is awesome and has heart of gold and you love him' to 'ignore the guy, he is only trying to get a reaction' mode?
5. Why cant Dev and Sona just talk? Instead of screaming and creating a ruckus? Is it that difficult? I really want to know. Why cant Dev say' am sorry I let you down. I understand what went wrong. I was just too upset you left me' and Sona can then explain why she felt let down and why she was forced to leave. They can clear whatever misunderstandings they had and atleast start being cordial for Soha. Is it so difficult for characters on this show to talk?
6. I cant even imagine the kind of drama the writers will show in Dev's house. I mean there is Asha to shut them up here. But that house is full of lunatics with only one pseudo-sane person (Mamaji) who has no control over anyone anyway 😆
7. Shaheer's choti was easily the most hilarious part of the episode 🤣 Why dont they just end this show instead of destroying it more with every passing episode? 😆

What was asha supposed to do? Let these four so called adults shout, blame, yell in house where little daughter lives.they were yelling on top of their voice which was totally wrong. It's not about being morally right or wrong but about how to handle situation where all four were failing without considering about anyone else. So she was right in sending everyone in their rooms and asking them to introspect. And only because she did not contribute in money to buy this house does not mean she doesn't have any right. In family everyone hs right in house and everyone takes control according to situation. Sometimes sona took, sowm times bijoy and this time Asha took it as she can be peacefully and respectfully put some sense in everyone's mind without being disrespectful. I don't feel asha favors Dev only because he is male, she is just trying to understand everyone's point of view which is the best quality anyone can have. She is more perceiving than judging. Being loyal to your family doesn't mean not trying to understand opposite views.

And about soha, why so critical about child? She is just 6 years old and want to stay with both of her prents. He is aware that they can't be good friends and she doesn't want to force she just wants them to be amicable to each other which is very normal and two adults do rhai but she doesn't know her parents are children in adult body.

Dev is so bipolar . I fails to understand him at all. He is mess. Dint he blame ishwari too and stopped worshipping her long back? Then suddenly this? Writers are suffering from temptorty amnesia .

I agree with some of the things you mentioned.

Regarding Soha, I agree. At the end if the day, she is a six yr old. If she is somewhere going wrong, it is bcz Sona has been entertaining all her whims and Dev is overcompensating for all the lost years. The child can't be blamed for that.

Regarding Asha, I don't have an issue with she asking all of them yesterday to calm down. I just have an issue with her approach in general. The beautiful advises she has been giving over the past week sounds great in theory but I feel they don't fit into the show right now. This is strictly my pov. I understand that she is trying to be the peacemaker here but they are not kids anymore. You can't ask them to shake hands and say sorry.

I get it that she is trying to understand Dev's pov but hasn't she seen Sona suffering first hand over the past seven years??!! By giving Dev's opinions and decisions more importance than Sona's, she is trivializing all of that. My problem with her is that she is behaving more like a counselor and less like a mother.

I am not sure if I am actually able to explain what I mean.

Because they want to show that sona did huge mistake of leaving DIXIT family. She should have stayed in marriage bearing insults and manipulation of family members . This whole season 2 is all about cliche ,overtop drama with no sense of logic.

just like badri's bhabhi was subjected to insults and partrichial mindset injustice ,asked to not to do job after marriage etc waise hi dev's definition of "good bahu" is liked that only. At least in the end badri realised how vaidehi will not be happy in that house ,decided to leave her for her own happiness .Here what we are getting is implication ke no matter what you have to keep "rista" .I can't believe he called her "bad wife" .such MCP. 🤢

You have penned my exact thoughts which even I was not able to express. Thanks!👏
@Bold- eggjactly. The loyalty she should have to her family is missing and that makes it look all the more weird.

Posting from what I wrote in another thread

Dev is flawed. Sona is flawed. I guess we all are flawed. No one is perfect. That is such a generic statement.

Sona thinks she is perfect. She is not. She has her own misgivings. She accepted infront of Jatin that she also must have made mistakes. True.
Broken relationships and humiliation made her strong enough to fight for her family's survival. She poses immense strength and will power but that does not make her perfect. No one is.

My admiration for her comes from the fact that she choses a life or makes a decision, she usually sticks to it. In S1, she understood Ish and her insecurities better than Dev himself. I never saw her asking him to chose btwn mother and wife, I applaud her for that. Also, it takes immense strength not to let any taunts affect you except for the one who loves you. It shows the level of acceptance she had for Dev's family. Nothing could hurt her except Dev. She had the strength steming out of her love for him.
Was it too much to ask that her family should be respected as well? I find it difficult to forget or forgive Dev's actions here...his treatment for the Boses on that fateful night was uncalled for.

There is a thin line between pride and arrogance. Sona is proud. She has her reasons to be so. Dev is arrogant. Reason - how many times Dev says he is the Dev Dixit and how many times Sonakshi refers herself to be The Sonakshi Bose? The former is more frequent.

I love Sonakshi's flaws. She learns, accepts and tries to move on in her life. She evolved in 7 yrs. Good or bad is individual perspective but I can see her growth and maturity. If only her emotions and thinking were shown more frequently, we would have better insight to her feelings.
