This week I am participating in a ping pong and air hockey contest at work between 12 - 1 p.m. (They offered free pizza lunch. And sorry, this lazybones only works for food). So the updates this week will be like Friday.

Episode:
Episode starts with Sona in bed. She wakes up and sees Soha messaging her feet. She tells Soha that she doesn't need doctor when she has her.
Me: Super cute scene. Soha is devoted to Mummy like Dev. The only difference is that her mother is not the type to take advantage of her devotion against other relationships.
Next morning, Sona wakes up and sees a note where Dev has written for her to take pain killer.
Me: Haila... Bhaiyaji, phir se palti maari? Samajh mein nehin aa raha hain ki arsenic ki goli hoyegi ki actual pain killer hoga. Sorry, main thodi logical hoon naa. To koi gaali de ke taali bajaye, to uspe yakeen itni jaldi hota nehin.
Sona comes out to see Golu on attack mode because in morning activity someone cheated and Bhaiya ji got leg cut in half which is gushing blood. Lol... Just kidding. He got a scratch like I get when I use razor on my legs. But the effect was so huge that he is dying of pain.
Me: Hummm... Doc, I am not a doctor. To mereko jyada pata nehin hain. Waise main aise scratch mein band-aid lagati hoon aur woh thik bhi ho jaata hain. Aap log kya anesthesia ki advice dete ho? I mean itna pain mein log to faint hi ho jaaye by God.
Anyhoo, teacher comes to call Soha to participate in hurdle race. Sona can't because you know, she got sprain. Bhaiya can't either. But he can. Because he is superman - hero chaap.
Bhaiya participates but doesn't win. However, he falls magnificently with sufficient pain for Suhana to call him Papa with the same zeal as in Bajrangi Bhaijaan the mute girl was calling Salman Bhaiya Bhaijaan. But that girl was mute, so that was a big frigging deal. Here, viewers are dumb, so big frigging deal here as well.
Sona ke aankhon mein aansoo ka sailaab. Golu ke muh mein smile. Aur mere muh mein pepsi.
Me: Nope, manma emotion not jaaging. You see, CVs uncle, agar aap thoda sa paisa aur plot pe kharcha karke ek believable injury banate with believable amount of blood to match the unbelievable pain, to shayad mere bhi aankhon mein aansoo aate. Waise main to Beauty & the Beast mein Beast ke marne par bhi royee. Lekin idhar itna jhol tha naa, ki koi logic bhi tairta nazar nehin aaya.
Moving on, Dev and Soha gets trophy of best parent-child combo. Everyone is happy.
Anyways, they are about to leave when Dev requests Sonakshi in a very polite tone to let him spend one more day with Soha and she can also join if she wants. Sona gives permission.
Me: Lagta hain Bhaiya ki dimaag ki ghanti finally jali ki Sona koi game nehin khel rahee thi. Saari kartoot choti Soha ki googly thi. Yeh ladki baja ke phir kharidti hain. Jatin ko bhi bajaya tha. To apne baap ko thodi free entry degi.
Lekin yaad rakhio Bhaiya. Soha ka pyaar uske Mummy ke upar hoke aate hain. Udhar manners intact rakhoge, to idhar phal milega. Udhar koi gadbad ki, to idhar beti ko palti khane mein time nehin lagega. Iss maamle mein, Soha hain aapki ditto copy.
Bijoy is upset that Radha and Vicky tried to hurt his son's alliance and is scolding Asha and Saurabh for taking their side. He said that Sona and Soha have to listen to him. He won't listen to anyone anymore.
Saurabh tries to take Sona's side. But he was silenced by Bijoy.
Me: You know Bijoy, you don't scare anyone. You huff and puff. But your family member do what they want. You think you can dictate Soha and Sona? In your dreams. You have raised independent daughter who raised another independent girl. They have brains and they know how to use them.
Anyways, Soha and Sona is ready and waiting for Dev. He comes with a truck. They were wondering where they are going. Dev brings them to orphanage. He says that since Soha called him Papa, he thought of all those people who don't have them. So he brought toys and pizza.
They go in and Golu and Soha play with the kids while Sona looks impressed at Dev.
Me: Ooi maa, akal ki andhi. Okay Sonakshi. This is an intervention. Let's talk.
You used to be impressed by Dev's generosity with his employees (you too, when you were his employee) - But he is no longer your employer.
You were impressed by his caring nature to his family as in his mother and sister. But he made it clear that in their house, a wife is not a family.
You are now impressed by Dev's loving side to Soha. But you are not going to call him daddy.
Do you get where I am going with this?
The only thing you were not impressed with is how he was keeping commitment to a girlfriend/wife. Which is why, you should keep your idiot romantic self in check and just be happy for Soha. Don't let your moronic side get you into another mistake with the same man.

The kids leave. Golu eggs Soha. Soha asks Dev for a gift. Dev is eager to fulfil her every wish. Soha asks to stay with both parents.
Sona reminds her what they had talked about.
Dev also tells her that he can be a good father to her, he can be a good son to his mother, he can be a good uncle to Golu. But he can't be a good husband to her mother.
Me: Bhaiya, charan. Kahan hain? Itna sach, ek ghoot mein. Aaj toh aapne dil garden garden kar diya... CVs aapko sahi disha mein le hi aaye. Ab bas aage badiye. Hum behen squad aapke saath hain. Aap wapas palti maarna bhi chahe, to maarne nehin denge.
Sona also attempts to make her understand how she likes chocolate ice cream and kesar kulfi too. But she won't like them together. That's how they are different.
Me: Bang on analysis. Kisike paas chocolate hain kya? I am a compulsive eater. Khane ka naam sunte hi mujhe bhookh lagti hain.
Anyways, Soha asks how do they know that they are different?
Dev says that they tried and failed miserably (Me: Nodding head). He asks if she wants to see her mother unhappy. Will she like to see her parents fighting?
Me (chokes on Pepsi): Ooi Maa, logic pe logic. Aur woh bhi Bhaiya se? Bhaiya, aap to aaj cha gaye. Agar mere ko pehle pata hota ki sirf Suhana ke Papa bulane se aap mein maturity aa jayegi, to hum to CVs ko yeh Mr. Dixit wala track chalane hi nehin dete.
Anyways, Suhana is adament. She is refusing to listen.
She said that if they aren't going to listen to her. Then she is not going to listen to them either. She won't live with anyone if she can't live with both.
Me: Dadi ki hawa lag gayee re. As much as I'd enjoy Bijoy giving Bhaiya a taste of what Sona faced at his home, I don't like manipulation from anyone to anyone.
I don't like to see kids giving parents ultimatum. Sona should point out that those kids who were playing with her just now, the ones that made Soha realise how lucky she is would give their eye and teeth to be where she is.
She has two parents who may not be together but loves her a lot. Even Golu would swap places with her in a heartbeat. So behaving like a brat would not earn her anything instead of getting grounded.
I mean since when minor kids get the option to choose not to live with any parents?
Precap: Dev tells Ishwari that Soha wants her parents together.
Maiya's face looks like she went to adopt a puppy which turned out to be rottweiler...
Me: Haan, I can understand. Maataji kharidne gayee thi toy apne bachhe ke liye. Aur toy apne dukandaar ko nahin chodna chahti hain. Ulta unka bachha ko bhi dukaan mein lock kar diya. Unke to do chaar baal aur safed ho gaye honge.
Sona is explaining the camp situation to Asha and says that Soha is now calling Dev papa and starting to love him. Asha asks, And you?
Translate: Did you again lock up your past memories and brain or is it still functioning?
Me: Haan Asha aunty, haan. Fandom wants to know. Kya Sona phir se murga banegi? Kya uska dimaag phir se Corporation ka reject tubelight ban jayega? Kya Sona phir se ghissi hui peetal ki katori ban jayegi. Dekhne ke liye tune on, Kuch Rang Morons ke Aise Bhi...
