EDITED: mods, i wld like this topic to be closed right now and i request anyone not to make any further comments. Untill now,it was all abt one member using cheap remarks for another but now wen u have another girl coming in and asking him"OYE BC BAJA DE IN FEMINAZIS KI", i am done with it..with such kind of support , why wld i blame him.Highly depressing for me to take it .Respect everyone who commented here except the girl who made the above comment .Hereby request people to let this thread die as i doubt mods r around to close it ..thank you :)
Offlate , this forum has been divided into groups ,with many upset about the character assassination of Dev and upset with the way he treats sona and other other group trying to understand Dev better and justifying his actions.In this whole situation, neither group is wrong. As individuals, it is but natural to have different perspectives for the same situations based on our past experiences and envt we were bought up in...some r more tolerant, some arnt. Some are very touchy when it comes to women rights and believe there is no reason for women to compromise under any circumstances and some who believe a little bit of compromise for the ones we love doesnt make one weak or lose our self respect. If we ask who is right or wrong. well no one..and thats the beauty of it. People with different opinions sharing and understanding each others views though at times it gets a bit too serious and noisy.
All that said and done, i just have one question to all the ladies and men out here who stand with sona and have come to dislike dev for his disrespectful treatment towards sona. Why is it that you take such a strong stand for a women or a character which is not even real but is just a work of fiction but turn a blind eye towards the actual disrespect some women in this forum are undergoing just for the reason that they support dev..if you guys can tke a stand against dev , y not against a particular member who has been constantly using derogatory remarks for us..is it jus coz his thoughts resonates urs and as long as it does, u really dont care how he treats the other members in the forum?
And its been happening since some time now .He uses terms like hormonal fangirls and aunties for us. He says things like we get "horny" seeing the male lead ..yes thats d term he used in this open forum ! He called me an old aunty who is suffering from midlife crisis and even bought in my husband into the picture. He said we loose control over our hormones seeing the lead and our only job is to stan these tv actors .Well, i am a 30 yr old lady living a decent respectful life and this guy comes and says such thngs to me and asks me to concentrate on my husband and compares hm to dev. According to him, we support Dev coz we are furstrated with out personal life. My dear members, is it fine if guys use such terms for real women here just coz we hold an opinion just like u do...and in the end he acts victimized when he is the one who comes into the posts of people he knows holds a diff view and argues and uses such terms when he cld jus stay away.
Isnt it the same situation thats happening in our society as well. We ignore women abuse happening in front of our eyes but go on for candle light protests for another women whoz in news n has recd national publicity. There is no way we can put any sense to him coz he stoops to a level where we can never go but i wld request all the girls n men out here who genuinely support women rights to plz tke a stand against such derogatory terms used by this guy and ask him t ob careful with his words in future. If he cannot, the least he can do is to not comment on posts that do not match his line of thnking .
PS: I do not wish to begin an argument here. Its just a request coz i cant stand this hypocrisy anymore.And another point, lemme clear the fact that i am neither for dev or for sona..i tke a stand for both wherever needed .
