let me make it clear..this post wasnt to create any argument or even escalate the issue..if there was an option to disable comments , i wld have definately done that ...my only wish was to raise the issue ...to let people know the kind of terms used by one member and tke a stand if u genuinely understand..am not holding a debate session here callin in people to speak for and agaisnt to topic..i am still surprised that people to expect sona to react and fight agfainst illtreament r absolutlly fine with someone doing it here..

anyways i request people not to comment anymore coz i myseflf don want to drag the issue..this post was to raise awareness againsnt the derogatory remarks and thats it :) appreciate the people who felt it was wrong and kudos to the people who felt its ok to use that terms coz their friends were mocked,..atleast got an idea abt how our strong women rights supporters thnk wen it comes to a real life situation..TY ..

Mam I was around during the original post where this Deepak was alone and many others were mocking him. He's not crazy to start bashing out of nowhere. He commented something someone else replied and that how it escalated. Which was my point that when u don't agree with someone why keeps replying and make derogatory marks. Does those people know about his life, job, educational qualification, English speaking ability or age? Then why bring them? Cz he dint agree with them? Or cz he is a male among other females and it's easy to tag him.as MCP?

I understand your reason to aware others but mam Even u should realize your role into it. Let's not play blame game here.

Lol who cares if u lost respect for me? And I don't represent all Sona lovers. Just like I m no fool to think all dev lovers r speaks illogical shits. Just cz we r women we need to support each other regardless of truth why?

Sorry you have had a bad experience.

Piqued by your title I stepped in and I want to say I am totally for respect irrespective of man or woman. Bad language towards any member is unacceptable. Full stop.

If I have been unable to help you, it is because I wasn't there to know what was happening; I wasn't made to feel welcome in most threads where my views did not absolutely align with people.

I hope the moderators are able to help you.

Going forward, perhaps this is a lesson for all of us that if we never let anyone challenge our views then we don't quite learn the fine line between right and wrong; other people's tolerance and the how to sustain a supportive society.

I believe we are all here dissecting the story because it touches us emotionally and in one way or the other makes sense to our real life too.
We are all different with different experiences, irrespective of man or woman, reel or real, social media or live in your community our words matter, our etiquette matters, we matter.

@bold.. completely agree. I have seen lot of name calling, mocking, making fun of other's opinions. And it happens from BOTH the sides. It doesn't matter who does it first. I have seen sarcastic threads mocking people who criticize Dev Dixit. And the very "feminists" who are being questioned here have also been mocked and made fun of in the forum before.. and now are expected to do the right thing and take care of other forum member 😆

And this thread itself is breaking 2 major rules from IF COC..

For your kin information mam, .he posted a comment first asking suriv not to use PS and it wasnt even a request..it was a provocative comment as bhuvan has pasted here.. pls read it..and people reciprocated to that comment from him..and again coming to english, if u read the post..he was the first to make fun of survis english asking her to learn the language as he cannot understnd wat she writes...so u really thnk, wen he comes n starts arguing without any reason, we shld b quite? then u shldnt evn expect sona to tke a stand..jus let dev do the talkin and she shd jus zip it right? i am not tkin any sides..and just stating what happened ..last time and even today..we wld b wrong if he first provoke him and then run cryin victim..wheras here its him who comes to certain posts n makes comments and wen people tke a stand,he begins abusing...so plz before u tke sides..atleast know wat exactly happened.
