So true!I was so frustrated to see that Sona had to AGAIN prove herself to the same person who lied on her face multiple times throughout their relationship 😭. That's why I did not even want to say anything about Dev yesterday!Dev had the AUDACITY to say to her that she's lying 😡 And after knowing it was Ishwari once again, all he does is think why ME again?!!! Oh...THAT ME!!! Why is (was) it NEVER US? Did he suffer alone? He had a well set business, family to care for him, but Sonakshi & her family were on the streets, bankrupt and on top of all the miseries, she had to bear the baby as well. And YET, she had the presence of mind to think about Dev's right as a father!! How well she understood the love of her life! ⭐️ She knew him inside out. And I would give a big share of the credit for her thought process to her upbringing. Even yesterday - despite the pain of having to prove herself YET AGAIN, she could feel Dev's pain! That's what a true soul mate does. Can we say that about Dev? I wonder if we are EVER going to get to see Dev pondering over what Sona must have gone through without him! Yes, my heart would have ached for hiim if he had taken some efforts to find out about Sonakshi too. Mahashay was busy pampering his hurt feelings thinking it was Sonakshi who betrayed him, left him alone to suffer!!! 🥱I did not expect Dev to yell or manhandle Ishwari when he could not answer her in the office the day she asked him - "to ab kya karega? Chod dega kya mujhe?". I hate it when people embark on your weaknesses and make it their shield. And I don't know when Dev is going to draw the line without using the crutches of booze 😔I felt even more brain dead to read how there were still expectations that Sona should have texted, whatsapped / called Dev 😲 Or how Bijoy was equally responsible for Devakshi separation!! Even though it's a fiction, most of the times, I imagine what I would have done in the same situation. It's mind boggling to see the way society thinks! Can some of these mahaan folks think at least once to imagine themselves in Sona's situation? Does anyone who has a huge list of expectations from Sonakshi think - what did Dev do to find how Sona was in these 7 years? But does the world work that way, even in the 21st century?How beautifully Tagore had penned this hypocrisy almost a century back. The story of Latika - who was a drama / stage artist. A jameendar leaves his wife and sells her ornaments because he wants Latika to be with him. He feels empowered to have possession of what he desires and feels that it is his right to betray his wife and go behind a dancer because he is a man. Months later when he has left home and started living with Latika, Latika can't be happy with him because the artist in her yearns for the creative freedom. She aspires to go back to the same world and when they come back to watch the then current show of Meera (which has earned accolades in all news papers), who do they see on stage in Meera's role? The jameendaar's wife!! The world turns upside down for the jameendaar and he creates a big scene there. He can't accept the fact that his wife has joined the drama company - it was like HOW COULD SHE?What I liked about the story was how even back then Tagore had shown brilliantly that there's nothing wrong in a woman liking what a man likes. Then why is it considered wrong for a woman when she does exactly what a man has done! Salute to the great visionary!As someone has said correctly - perhaps it's wrong on our part - the viewers part to expect sense out of a fictional TV show. The makers sell what gets sold! And if this is what has demand amongst the buyers, then we ought to not be in the 21st century! 😒Phew done with my rant today!!
I'd have agreed with you, had I not seen the IF spoiler video where Dev is talking to Ishwari all smiley and cheerful after Soha leaves. When we are disappointed and tired of people who lied and manipulated us, we can't even look at them, let alone talk and smile with them. The Dev we saw in the initial episodes of season 3 is not the same Dev I saw today.Was he upset with Ishwari? Yes.But he was not enraged like he was when he thought Sonakshi kept Soha away from him.So does it mean he was never enraged with his mother? That's not true either.He was enraged with Ishwari when he found out that Ishwari took his sign on pre-nup by fraud. He was so enraged that he did not even used to come home for seven years. Because then Sonakshi was not around as whipping post to punish for all her imagined sins.Then what happened? Sonakshi came back. Now his favourite whipping post is around, so Mummy can be spared. Now they can be buddies again.So that's why I have hard time believing that he is really tired of Ishwari. In fact I believe that now that he knows that Ishwari is the reason of him being away from Soha and not Sonakshi, the supposed value of missing the initial six years has gone down extensively. It now can be forgiven whereas previously it required open war.

See the CVs are trying hard to justify Sona amidst the common notion that her hiding the baby was wrong.. The CVs didn't have the guts to show that she didn't think it was necessary to inform him. Because they know his anger will be justified and so they needed some justification for Sona as well. Coming up with some lame excuse for her.. They know there are many people out there who can relate to Ishu's and Dev's pain and hurt because they are too weak and everyone can easily go emotional about them.. But for Sona's unless they make her weak too they are not gonna get support for her.. 😆They had to keep the father's name empty so that Dev can still emotionally connect the dots to find out that the baby is his.. Brownie points for his love and how she betrayed him.. 😉And to calm down Dev's anger they had to cook up the flashback story otherwise which they'll not be able be keep Sona right by her side.. Dev can do many wrongdoings but can still get away with it all but Sona had to be right all the time else she'll torn into pieces because that's what the society expects from her.. And Ishu toh is always available to be used for and against Dev to cover him up all the time.. 😆How much I would have loved to see Sona fighting back with Dev telling "Yes, I didn't see any needs to announce to you because you didn't bother about me.. Thought you wouldn't bother about me pregnant or not.. Anyway you said it doesn't matter whether I become a mother or not right?"😉
I somewhat agree. Dev should have tried to find happiness within in instead of depending on someone else to provide his happiness. He gets obsessed with one relationship and then he forgets about other relationships. As I had mentioned before, his problem was always how to balance relationships.However, Sonakshi never made him dance to her tunes. If anything, she kept going through hoops to please his family and him while they kept on making demands on her never once trying to understand her. If anything, Sonakshi was pati ki ghulam (sorry, in Indian language, there is no female equivalent insult like Jodu ka ghulam because it's not an insult when a wife becomes her husband's devoted slave. But there is a praise for that term. It's called Sati).Dev was never Jodu ka Ghulam or for that matter a good husband because he never stood up for Sonakshi.Dev should have some proof of his truth as well. But what is there to prove? Dev accused Sonakshi of lying, Sonakshi needed proof. Dev said he did not get Sonakshi's message. Sonakshi instantly believed him, what does he need proof for?But yes, we have been waiting for Dev to redeem himself for a very long time which has not happened because to redeem himself Dev has to acknowledge his faults first. Well, let's hope Dev at least stands up for Suhaana.
