I respect Sona as a perfect mom, I guess she decided to take Soha to Dev as he's on a whole a good person who could definitely be a good dad too. The dialogue of fearing about death even when we already know that life is mortal is too good. I always believed that a child should be treated as an individual who has emotions and has his own worldly views, Bose family is putting this forward to us, they're protective as she's still a kid yet respective of her feelings, opinions.
