Just my thoughts and not to hurt anyone. No chappals please. 😃

Yes I feel like that too. Don't get me wrong, I really did not like the Bejoy who was shown after Sona told him about Dev. I felt that the initial dislike will be there but then I felt that Bejoy will understand Dev the most. But that never happened. I did not like the way during the fast, marriage, and slap. For me the last was the slap, it was not even intentional and though Dev was not right, I felt he was being earnest in the times he apologized. I mean what did Bejoy want him to do? (I don't mean this in an angry way, I was actually curious.) If Bejoy/Ishwari instigate custody, I am not surprised. But I will be shocked if Dev does.
I did not mean to insult anyone's opinion, this is how I thought.

What a beautiful episode today. I always knew that the day Dev comes to know about Soha, I will not be able to control my tears. There were so many spoilers on how Dev will know about Soha. All spoilers were wrong. I really like the way CV's showed this scene.
Dev may looked stupid for not able to understanding immediately that Soha his daughter after seeing her with Sona and them sharing the last name. He knew that Soha is his daughter, but he wanted to confirm that. I am so glad, CV's did not take the cliched way. How beautiful/heart wrenching it was when Dev went through the memory lane from their marriage to separation, and also the bitter truth about Sona's Infertility, then come most happiest shocking news of his life...seeing Soha's truth. Shaheer's range of expressions were bang on.

I really loved the way Dev expressed his happiness. I really felt bad for Dev, missing the phase when Sona was pregnant.

My favorite scene is when Soha came to room and the way she placed her hand on her mouth seeing her superman friend. Anyone noticed how Soha's face brighten up whenever she sees Dev? I didn't see the same spark in her with anyone. Not even with Sona.

After a long time, I really liked the scene between Dev and Ishwari. This is going to be one of my favorite scene after the leap. Supriyaji is such a powerful actress..The way she said "Suhana"...I can say, Ishwari was genuinely happy. I have lost words to praise Shaheer performance in the last scene. He was so natural, the happiness in his face, really brought tears in my eyes.

Elena was genuinely happy hearing the news.

P.S:: I was again surprised with Bijoy today. Was he expecting Elena to leave Dixits because they insulted them? It is natural for kids to fight for their parents pride. But expecting them to take stand? How his expectation is different from Ishwari's expectaion from Dev? Elena is not my favorite character, but I really don't blame her for sticking with Dixits. She does not know what all Vicky did. If Bijoy can expect Asha to stand by him because they are married. Why can't Elena do that?

I am really curious..what will happen next? I can't even predict anything.

It was not like one of those times when she used to say those lines but did not mean them. She wanted a 'pota'. But today she was really and truly happy in Dev's happiness. 😊 😊

I also liked GKB and Vickky's expressions. Not sure what path they are going to take now in their greed. But hopefully it will be helpful in clearing the misunderstandings and not add more. 😃 😃 I wanted to say 'your time starts now' 😆 😆

Not sure what Ishwari will say or do tomorrow but for today she was not that bad...

Edited:

There is one thing I did not like though. The father's name being empty. No matter what happened between Dev and Sonakshi or the fact that they were separated at that time, still his name should have been on that document. I mean Sonakshi cannot get pregnant and become a mom all by herself. The baby was not born out of wedlock or not with any such bad thing. But Sonakshi not letting his name be on the document was not a right thing.

Just my POV... Not intended to hurt anyone.

@ Shavi ...Same here..I was so disappointed to see father's name as blank on the birth certificate. Dev was so happy seeing Soha's name, the way he said she is the daughter of Dr. Sonakshi Bose. He was so happy, he didn't even see his name was left blank on the certificate.

Dev is a father of Soha. I was so disappointed with Sona when she said I told Soha to meet her dad, but she is not ready so she doesn't want Dev to know. How sad! Looks like they didn't have any intention to tell Dev that he has a daughter. I know a mother keeps a baby in her womb for 9 months and gives birth. Does that mean, a father does not have any rights for his baby? Dev is not a criminal.

I really don't understand Bose family pride and self respect. Leaving dad's name of Soha's birth certificate on purpose is unkind to the daughter who was born when her parents were married.

Based on SBS spoiler, Sona came with a baby to meet Dev. I am really curious what happened that day. But still question is, if she came to meet Dev and inform about a baby, why did she didn't put Dev's name in the birth certificate?

Ok now I am out of magic blindness called "Dev-the papa" after today's episode, read through the thread and as usual got wowed😆

Jiyaa, beautiful post❤️ I guess since we have seen much flawed men characters in our real life, we can relate to Dev and sympathize that he is not a bad person by heart because we know his intention is not bad but its the situation which made him look bad. This may not be the case with everyone and hence we can't blame them for asking perfection in a guy😊

Latha, you nailed Devakshi's entire flaw in the single sentence as usual 👏 Can't agree more !
"She failed in trusting their love and he failed in respecting their love."

Shaavi, again beautiful point of views👏 and please don't apologize everytime you try to reason Dev because this thread is neither one's shrine nor one's princess castle to scare to talk about a particular character without inhibition. It totally defies the purpose of this thread if you can't express your views freely and am sure every people who visits this thread for peaceful discussion will agree with me 😊 (Sam and DQ sorry for stating this because I felt bad seeing her putting disclaimer everytime just because she has different POV to state)

Geena, my pumpkin 🤗 I think we both got it right when it came to Boses reaction of "dikhava".. See all that glittered yesterday was not gold at all😛 Loved your quote on HP 👍🏼

Sam I really want to examine your brain some day 🤓 how the hell you figure stuffs like that girl?!! hats off to you on that "Sona letting the door open theory" 👏 I don't know if thats what makers intended us to think but it just fitted the open space aptly and sealed the deal for me "Aapki dimag ki nazar na lage "😆

Ruchi and Rekha, pretty interesting discussion on Elena and Payal your comment on her had me in splits😆 I am neither mad nor happy about her because she chose a life and living as per as wish giving a damn about anyone, why should I?😆 Let her be happy in her world because she is nonexistent in Devakshi world. Rekha loved your hidden sarcasm😆

Everyone, chalo ek group hug banta hai for making this place more awesome 🤗

Now coming to today's episode

Since I have made separate post on Dev and bawled my eyes out already, let me focus on other scenes.

* I am glad Bijoy behaved normally and little amazed to see Sona quick to take Baba's side and Asha tricking the new people before they talk about "Both girl's kids" . Boses have grown leaps and bounds in 7 years👏..but too bad they didn't know Dev Dixit is the master in this game and banda already kept the ladder to climb Sona's room😆(remember her room was in first floor)

* Did anyone felt odd with Ronita's approach towards Saurabh? I felt weird in her body language and the way she had stalked him before. Didn't get the cute vibe which I got in yesterday's ep . Would look to read more on this !

* Jatin babua missing... was he playing hide and seek with suhana and got locked in some cupboard?😆

* Mamiji and Vicky's face in the end is the best part after Dev today 🤣

* Ishwari felt genuine today and her happiness too and after a long time loved the mother-son embrace😊

Bloopers impossibe:

* Behenas child marriage at play 😆 see the marriage date, birth date, present date...no wonder Ishwari treated Dev as 8 yr old 🤣

* Sona remodeled their old house to hogwarts where windows , doors, staircases magically rearrange as per convenience 😛

More emotional dramas on the way but for today "Dev-the papa" took the cake for me😳

Till next time...ummahs to all 🤗

@deepsel : Summed up well.
@samanalyse : A different take but written well. Made me ponder.
@All : Very good posts, though can't comment on all.

@shaavi : Your viewpoint is different from others, esp. Sonakshi but very well put.

I felt Ronita was honest. The reason for rejecting 4 proposals before Saurabh, was probably because she had a crush on him! Big Bose was right in his own way but very rude. The rudeness triggered as he read Dev's message. I wasn't surprised.

Dev telling his mother - could it be the beginning for the relatuonship again. Would Ishwari change to accomodate her changed son? The body language of Vicky-XGKB said it all. They were more shocked than Ishwari. It showed that they never loved Dev and Ishwari. It was only greed that made them stick around.

Tonight's episode would throw more light on what Dev is planning to do. It's quite weird that Sonakshi feels that her 6 year old daughter is capable of deciding whether she wants to meet her dad or not! That's a joke on the sensibilities of a 6 year old child. And I thought Sonakshi was the sensible one. The pre-cap was clear that Suhana knows the name of her father and that he is a good man. But, imagine Suhana talking to a stranger who is her classmates BigCha and even tells her mother that she saw him in his room twice! Sonakshi brushed it aside. Viewers know it's Dev, but Sonakshi only showed her keenness to meet BigCha. Children should avoid talking to strangers at this age. It's dangerous. With molestation and rape/kidnapping charges being filed daily, Sonakshi actually thought her child was playing a game! Not acceptable, Sonakshi. I hope she takes initiatives to go to school and find out who is BigCha. Top priority.

How would Ishwari and Bijoy react when Suhana's dads identity is out in the open! I wasn't surprised that Sonakshi left the fathers name blank. Suits her personality and the pre-nup clauses are not yet out. Besides, are they divorced is a question that should be cleared soon.

Interesting week ahead.

@Deepa...You caught me right 😆 I can totally understand Dev and relate to that.

Nobody is perfect, If I can make a lot of mistakes, how can we expect perfection in a guy? 😆
I believe in making mistakes and learning from that 😆😆😆

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Am the one who is missing to see the softer side of Sona? I really want to see the same Sona when she was in love with Dev ( before marriage phase)

I was thinking Kuch Rang is the only serial where we hardly see any romance between main leads, still it holding so much interest.

Loved the precap. Shaheer was so good, his voice modulation while he was talking to Soha. Can't wait for tomorrow's episode.

Thanks Deepa. 😃 for your kind words. It is just that when I went back and watched the old episodes of Dev Sonakshi married time, I saw the scene where Sonakshi takes it as a challenge to be the best bahu. I felt that is when she put her blinders on, the glasses of pride and that pursuit of perfection. In her quest to create her utopia she failed to realize the cost that Dev started to pay.

If Dev's flaw was to try to keep everyone happy all the time and find his happiness in that, Sonakshi's fault is her pride and ego. There is no such thing as "selfless act" in pride. Whatever she did, she did it only taking her vision into account. The best example here is trying to fix Neha Ranveer's marriage. Why did she want to fix their marriage. Was it for Dev?. He knew his sister and what she wanted in life. He did tell her about it. But Sonakshi did not really pay much attention or try to understand what he was saying. Was Sonakshi trying to fix their marriage for their own sake. If that was the case, she should have talked to the concerned parties and understand their views, what was the difference between them, why the separation happened. But Sonakshi did not really do anything of that sort. Was she doing this to impress Ishwari. Well when Ishwari clearly told her not to interfere, including herself was not something that would impress her. But why then did she try to do that.

On the face of it, it looks like a selfless act. But when one thinks about it, it does not look that way. Whatever she did was for herself, to become one of the decision maker, to earn brownie points. So how was this a selfless act. It wasn't. But here Sonakshi did not realize the path she had chosen or how it affected her relationship with Dev. She failed in being a team player every time she did what she wanted to do without considering all the information. Only on occasion when she involved Dev, communicated with him, worked with him as a team and removed those blinders were they really happy.

After the slap gate, Sonakshi has donned this blinders along with the mask all the time. Only when Dev was in trouble with the goons, her mask and blinders came off. But the moment Ishwari thanked her, they were back on. She is following Bijoy blindly in his hate of Dixits without realizing the implications or the effect it will have on Soha.

But then again "pride goes a long way before the fall". As much as Dev and Ishwari need to change and realize their contributions in everything that happened, Bijoy and Sonakshi need to do the same. It should not be only Dev who "wants" Sonakshi in his life, but it should also be Sonakshi "wanting" Dev in her life. It is not enough that Sonakshi has kept the door open for Dev to come in, she needs to bring him inside the door. The reconciliation should be mutual and not one sided as before. Sonakshi should acknowledge and accept her true feelings openly. More than anything she needs to remove her blinders and be the person she is -- Sonakshi. 😃 😃

I have a feeling that although right now Jatin wants to marry her and be Soha's dad, later on he will reject her even if she says yes to marriage and even proposes to him... 😆 😆 😉

Shaavi,

I don't think Sonakshi's interference in Neha's marriage stemmed from pride or for earning brownie points. It was lack of empathy, an inability to understand that another person's thought process and needs in life could be diametrically opposite of hers.

Today without Dev, Sona is not happy nor she has what in her definition would be a fulfilling life. I don't think a single day passed in 7 years when she didn't remember him or feel his absence. She had assumed that Neha would also face the same fate when she separated from Ranveer.

But Neha is a lot like Elena and her first love was she herself. Anything or anyone who hurt her happiness or convenience was unneeded, unwanted. It can be easily explained with the example of a student who saw a blind woman standing on the side of a road. He thought he should help her cross the road and inspite of her protests (he assumed that she didn't realise that he was trying to help her) he forcefully made her cross the road. But after the act was over and he expected a thanks, the blind woman thumped him and told him that she had just been standing there and did not want to cross the road at all.

Same was the case of Sonakshi and Neha. Sonakshi wanted to do help without realising that it wasn't a help in the eyes of the so called receipient. She only ended up making a life long enemy in the form of Neha and convinced Ishwari that she is trying to snatch her place.

Now regarding what Deeps said, even I have observed that disclaimer of yours. You and a few other members also, not only in this thread but wherever you post in the forum.

What I fail to understand is why should you or as a matter of fact anyone feel sorry for stating their POV wherever they want? Sam's thread is a safe place but on the other threads on the forum also, one has the right to say what one wants. In my living memory you have never insulted, disparaged or demeaned anyone, then why?

I just now stated something diametrically opposite to what you said and I am not apologetic about it . Why should I be sorry for being me? Why should I apologise for having a different opinion from someone else as long as I am not hurting anyone's feelings?

@deepa, thanks dear for your love. Good night.🤗
@shaavi, 👏👏
Thanks for not keeping any disclaimer this time. That really pricks yaar especially in this thread.

To all the other wonderful writers in this thread, it's a pleasure reading such thought provoking discussions. 👏

Coming to the show, even though I am eagerly looking for some meaningful conversation between Dev and Sona regarding Soha, I feel it takes time going by the clues they have dropped in the yesterday's episode, Sona didn't saw Golu's pick and don't know that golu is elina's son, the way Sona said looks like this bigcha doesn't want to meet me. I feel we may get Sona-ishwari confrontation before Dev and Sona's. Just my thoughts going by the yesterday's episode.

You all already explained wonderfully about all the good and bad things of yesterday's episode so I don't have anything more to say but I won't get tired of saying that Shaheer really breaths life in to Dev and makes it impossible for us to hate Dev even in his lowest of low because of the innocence he brings in to Dev. Take a bow man. 👏

Well this is not related to yesterday's episode but was watching post leap episodes one thing is quite understood that Dev still claims his right on Sonakshi he can't see her name attached to anyone else not even her father, nor does he like any other man touching her or claiming her rights on her.I think somewhere he too wants Sona to claim his Haq on her and that's he troubles her to get that reaction from her.So now will Dev claim his right on his daughter and wife too. Will Sona ever claim her haq on him.
