I guess as Tia rightly pointed out Dev was too relieved from within knowing that Sona wasn't getting into marriage that he let his mother just be.
Golu and Soha are definitely giving mini Ishwari & Sona feels but the biggest difference is their innocence and pure heart. I won't even elaborate on how unrealistic & thoughtless the teachers are shown to be.I can never imagine a teacher being so careless with her comments and ignoring the family problems that both the children seem to have. Ye writers kisi profession ko nahi chodenge, be it doctor or teacher. 🤔
