Part -2
Forgetting the surrounding, both were busy smiling through their eye contact. Sonakshi was the first to realise and tried to come out of it, much to her disappointment. She couldn't hold herself anymore from watching those eyes carefully and judging to understand the feelings it holds.
Dev was just as busy as sonakshi was. He was cherishing the moment. 'Ms.Bose, your eyes are Beautiful', he recollected saying this abt her eyes, which he used to call Beautiful are still the most beautiful ones, but with lil changed emotions. He knows what would that be, but refused to end this moment with random thoughts. He still misses her. He does it seriously. Her eyes are making him much more vulnerable.

'Just like reading your Transparency through ur own eyes, Mr.Dixit', she smiled thinking to herself. Her smile faded, when she found the redness, pain, guilt, disappointment, much above to all, she found Loneliness in those eyes. What she once used to find was the happiness, eagerness and refreshing feelings in his eyes, but today she found the emptiness in those eyes. Amidst all off these, what she now saw broke her soul yet again.
Without his own knowledge, Dev's eyes started to well up with tears. Her expressions changed seeing this, causing dev to notice her frowned brows. He straightened himself up realising, he was welling up thinking abt his fate.
His first thought was, 'Did she notice?'. He feared she might've. To his own goodness, his PA entered the cabin with the files and stood straight infront of his desk, hiding sonakshi's cabin behind.
'Phew, that was close', he breathed out in relief, thanking his PA quietly for helping him to hide his sad face from her.

'Was he crying?', sona thought to herself. 'But why? What could be the reason?', she couldn't move but to question herself and was looking straight into his cabin, without any hesitation.
Signing those files, he was confused at himself for sharing an eye contact with her, which he wished never to end. His emotions once again started to come out, the lil girl and sona. Both r affecting him now. He signed all the files and sent his PA out.
He wiped off his tears. Closing his eyes, he tried to compose himself. This didn't go unnoticed by sona, who was looking eager to find what's causing him the displeasure. She wanted to get up, move into his cabin and ask him. But she cant do that. Can she? She can't let herself weak infront of him. She waited for dev to come back to his normal state.

After a while,
Dev opened his eyes, only to find sona standing in his cabin and staring at him with a confused look.
'Tum? Yahan? Ms.Bose do u want anything?', Dev asked her calmly! Sona didn't have any reply, after seeing him talk so calmly. She just stood motionless, blinking here and there.
'Ms.Bose? What invites u here?', dev asked her making her snap out into reality.
'haa.. nothing. It's 3.30 Mr.dixit. And I just..I was just passing by!', sona probably gave the boka'ish excuse. She didn't want to question him anything or why he cried, since he seemed okay. 'i ll leave now'., saying so she left to her cabin. Scolding herself for this blunder.
He knows that was an excuse but didn't know why. 'Was she here to bring up an argument?', he questioned himself. 'whatever'.

Evening,
Dev called his PA and cancelled all his meetings for 2 days. He just wanted to be at mental peace, to come out of his dad dreams and his love. He stood up and prepared to go taking his bike's key to anywhere that only god knows. 'ahh' , he winced., When his foot got hit by the edge of his desk. 'Dev, Careful!', He heared her say, while she got up half from her chair across the cabin.
His 'Heart melted' at how she still cares for him and he loved her attention on him. He nodded with a small smile and left the office.

She saw him going. She wanted to run and scold him for being irresponsible to take care of himself. But She stayed quite and continued her work. Only she knows how hard is for her to stay away from her love, when he is in pain and she couldn't console him, to be by his side for whatever the reason he is going through. She was sad that she's repeating the same mistake not being a part in his pain.
One side, she worried abt soha's truth and on the other side, she got lost in his smile, only to realise her 'Heart's Melting' again. No matter what or how bad their situations are, their Hearts still Melts for eachother! :)
