Liked quite a few things in the episode...

1. Sona's strong stand against re-marriage and asking for their support... But not sure how long she will have this stand... Because if she's not honest about her own feelings and get provoked by Dev again, she may do stupid things again... 😆 Just don't want her to play with her friend's feelings this time... Jatin appears to be a good guy and why is it every guy coming for Sona are very good... 😳 But yeah, Sona being Sona has her own love story and doesn't want to rewrite it unless drama says otherwise... 😆

I know, right? Sonakshi always had eligible bachelors queueing up for her. So far I don't see Jatin as a negative character yet.

2. Vicky & Radharani - These two, ignoring the fact that they are cunning and evils, never fail to trigger a laughter dose every time they appear onscreen together...😆 Vicky being the red-black one and Radharani all obsessed with gold... 🤣

They are the only steady character in the show. They remained constant in their aim since day 1. 😆

3. Golu... oh chubby sweetiepie... 🤗 He has a way to win hearts.. Be it with Dev or any other character in the show... He brings the charm very beautifully filling the screen with all his innocence and cuteness... Looking forward to his presence with the Bose family... Especially him and Daada... Competition for who's more chubby and cutie... 😳🥳

Golu is the chubby stick adorableness. I know, right? Now our mini Sona has a mini Dada. 😆

4. Jatin 😊- Let him just be the good friend that he is... It's nice to see some form of real men being reflected onscreen... Not always glorifying the darker shade of grey ones... Jatin could have his own human flaws but he sure can be on the lighter side..

Yes. So far all I see is a man who lost his love but is trying to move on with a loving friend and her adorable daughter. If he is interested in Soha because of friendship with Sona or interested in Sona because of his bond with Soha or wants both equally for their own sake, I haven't been able to decide yet.

5. The trio - Sona-Soha-Jatin... Soha having the super comfort with Jatin and happily chirping in her own form as a happy family... What Golu said was right... They looked one nice happy family together... If only the CVs intend to show them for themselves and not for Dev to become jealous... 😆

I have a problem here with one thing here that how close minded Dev is towards adoption that such an obvious, most likely possibility never crossed his mind. Not today and not 7 years ago.

First he tells Golu that Sonakshi can't be Soha's mother because she can't be mother. Later says, if Sonakshi and him were together, they could have had a daughter like Soha. How? By getting another woman to have his baby? Then he could have done it any time. Why did he need Sonakshi then?

When his mother was putting pressure on Sonakshi to get pregnant, why didn't he then tell her that if she wants grandkids, he and Sonakshi can adopt since she can get biological grandchildren also from her daughters? Not once he said that then when his mother was breaking down Sonakshi and his relationship for her need of "waaris". Instead he was jumping through hoops to fulfill every demand of his mother without once thinking how degrading, humiliating and insulting it must have felt for Sonakshi.

Now he is behaving as if everything would have been hunky dory only if Sonakshi hadn't left him.

Even if Soha finds out and introduces herself as daughter to Dev, Dev will still be saying "No my dear friend... You are not my daughter because your mother can't become a mother" 😆

What if Sona had adopted the kid and hasn't revealed the kid the truth that she's been adopted... 😉

Dev anyway has married Sonakshi out of love irrelevant of whether she could become a mother or not... And it doesn't matter to him that she can't be a mother... So it shouldn't matter to him if she has become a mother now... Is my logic sounding like a complicated mathematics? 😆

The best points of the episode for me have been:

1. Dev's emotional unraveling and his denial in believing that Suhana can be Sonakshi's own daughter. I do think proper execution with monologues can be better in helping us understand Dev's predicament. Over all, I am loving the realization dawning over Dev slowly.

2. Sona's lack of need for validation. I think it was one of your posts where I mentioned that Sona's bitterness has changed her relationship dynamic with her father. Today we saw an outburst of that. The old Sona couldn't have borne the fact that her Dad isn't happy with her decision.

Yes. I agree. Sonakshi no longer looks outside for validation. She accepts herself as she is and validates herself.

3. Soha and Jatin relationship compared with Dev and Soha's relationship. The bonding between the Jatin and Soha shows that Soha never lacked the need for a father figure in her life but it's also evident that Soha was reminded that Jatin isn't her father. he is only mama's friend. A sensitive child like Soha would pick up on that aspect especially witnessing her grandfather doting on her mom every now and then. Dev and Soha's relationship is now just beginning. Soha doesn't lack a proper ideal figure but she lacks a listener. Two parents provide a balance of one down the talking and another listening. That dynamic shifting as per parents chose to parent there kid. Soha had a father and mother in Sonakshi and with Sona being a working mother, Soha lacks the parent who would be there to just coddle her. The child has everything. But she lacks this one thing which also has it's importance and that cannot be denied just because others have it worst.

I agree. I have said it in my response to Sabita's comment is that Soha doesn't need a father. She wants a father, but because she doesn't have an urgent need for one, she is not showing visible signs to indicate to her family. She is curious about him and wants to may be know how he is like, but since he is a stranger, the feelings are still under the surface. Once she finds out that Dev is her father, because the bond she has already formed with Dev, she will be eager to reveal who she is. One thing to keep in mind though is if she finds out that Dev is going to re-marry before she can tell Dev who she is (assuming Soha finds out first since she can add up clues), being her father's daughter, she might not reveal her identity and keep it a secret.

4. Golu's pointing at Dev at his attention to the new girl. Golu will force Dev to not just realize but finally FIX his ways in balancing relationships. Dev inability to balance relationships comes from the fact he never had a relationship at a time with more then one person. Before it was him and his mother. and now it's him and Golu. Relationships aren't a list of priority. It's a shelf of books. Each one holding an important place and each one brining something new to the table. Golu and Suhana's places in Dev's life will finally push Dev to create a balance in his lifestyle that will lead for Sonakshi to come back into his life eventually.

Golu is a more normal, much cuter but a catalyst like Ishwari. Dev and Sona had met because of Ishwari. Until then Ishwari had Dev's exclusive devotion. Sona's entry in Dev's life made her insecured because despite having daughters, she had no one (her own fault, but still).

Dev and Soha met because of Golu. Until now Golu had Dev's exclusive devotion. Soha's entry in Dev's life is making him insecured because despite having parents, Golu had no one.

Then Dev had told Sonakshi that she has to be understanding because his mother and him had a long lonely past together. Will he say the same thing to Suhana for Golu or make sure that Golu makes space for Suhana? Because as of yet he has not learned how to balance nor he has acknowledged his part in their break up.

Overall, I loved the episode. and obviously love your commentary!

Dev knows that Ishu doesn't like Sonakshi and has complaints against her... And may be he doesn't think that Ishu has played a major role in their separation but at least he must be knowing that she wasn't happy with Sonakshi being in his life and now gone from his life midway...

And he opening up to his mother emotionally makes no sense to me... Is he still looking for his mother's support in his decisions and will be running back to his mother asking her to look for a beautiful and understanding bride for himself, when Sona hurts him more and more with her taunts... 😆

That's why he is still sharing his feelings with his mother and trying to get back with her somehow with some excuse.
