It's no safe to predict and find meaning in between the words yet with next track yet. I really do hope that the prenup is utilized.

Another thing I noticed is the use "socha mein aisa hota, aise hoti" line is that Dev, Sona and now Soha are all using it as means of covering up there true feelings.

Socha wanting to meet her father after figuring out it's been unfair seven years for him wasn't received well with Bijoy where as Sona and Asha were understanding. She is obviously a perfect blend of Sonakshi and Dev, inheriting both of there flaws.

I was thinking bout golu n soha..

Golu hav both parents with him. Then his dada, dadi, badi dadi, bigcha but he gets luv n care from his bigcha only..all others r in some way or the other ignoring him. nobody is finding time for him except dev.

Soha hav her mumma along with dadu n dida , then mama, badi dida but her papa is nt with her. But everyone finds time to make her feel comfortable.

So wat's the diiference with golu n soha wen comparing with their respective fathers ? Vicky never finds time for his son so wats the use of having such a father figure ? V feel pity with soha bcoz dev is her papa..wat if someone like vicky her father , do v feel the same concern ?

idk if this made sense or nt ..

Sona said today that she is scared Dev will take Soha from her. She should Aldine scared of Soha's disappointment when she finds out she was kept away from her father, with whom she has a deep connection, however fictional(soon to be real). That itself might unwillingly push Soha into Dev n Dixit mansion, causing Dev to gain their'Suraj' this is when Sona will begin her introspection, take her first steps to mending her relationship and start to let Dev in like she let in Jatin

Sonakshi's Mr.Perfect vs Bijoy's Mr.Perfect for Sona

In season 1, during Kushal Roy's track Sona reveals that these are some of the things that she is looking for in her life partner. She wants her life partner to --

1) Be handsome
2) who treats her as his equal
3) who doesn't tie her down I.e. Let's her be herself
4) who completes her
5) like Prince Charming
6) Is romantic, adventurous and unpredictable

Bijoy's idea of ideal partner for Sonakshi --

1) Good looking
2) good bank balance
3) matured
4) Bengali
5) some one who is like HIM

Kushal, Ritwick and now Jatin fit Bijoy's list perfectly while Dev doesn't, except maybe has a couple of points. In the episode where whole Bose family goes to meet Ishwari and Bijoy talks to Ishwari, it is shown that he was not happy. He conveys the same to Sonakshi even before Dev breaking up with her and tells her to rethink her choice. He at that time gives the reason that since Ishwari is not happy with this union, she won't be happy. Following that Sonakshi is visibly confused and talks to Dev. She tells him that she trusts her fathers judgment and he is not happy.

Coming to now Bijoy is over the moon with Jatin. According to him, Jatin is the perfect match for Sonakshi. And by the looks of it Jatin too interested in Sonakshi as his life partner.

But Jatin fulfills only some of the points on Sonakshi's Mr.Perfect list. But Dev fits that list perfectly. Sonakshi genuinely sees him as her friend, as someone who is similar to Saurabh. It did not look like she would be interested in accepting his proposal if she is given a choice. I mean to say if she is not told that she should marry him to return the ehsaan of his support and also because Bijoy likes him, chances are she will say no to him.

For me right now Jatin is 50 - 50. I will wait for some more episodes before saying he is a positive or negative character. If he is positive, he is going to take his rejection with grace and will probably say that he will continue to be her friend and support(although I doubt it. It will not be very interesting 😆 )) 😉 )

If Jatin is negative, the first impact of rejection would be his taking away his investment and support. This will be a huge eye opener for Bijoy and in some ways Sonakshi too. He will probably cause trouble and Sonakshi might find herself friend less and also in hot water.

Also with Dev's developing bond with Soha and him coming to know her as his daughter will play a huge role in unraveling Sonakshi's psyche. If he then agrees for marrying the girl suggested by Ishwari, we might get to see Sonakshi's jealousy and her deewangi...

Looking forward to unveiling of Sonakshi...

But, it would be repetitive to see him just walking away if Sonakshi's refuses to consider him more than a friend! Besides, his stake in the business has to be put to good use. Just like Dev is now talking sense to Ishwari, would Sonakshi also be able to make Bijoy see sense? Or would Soha ask Sonakshi to opt for 'Bigcha' (w/out) knowing thats her Dad!!! Imagine Suhana talking about Bigcha so excitedly that Sonakshi wonders,"Who is this man in my daughters life?!" 😳 I am also keen to know the girlfriend in Saurabh's life!

After reading your response I too feel that Jatin is not positive. The dialogue of Dev that Sonakshi failed to read the contract and rules during the breaking of partition wall was said for a reason. Maybe Sonakshi has not really read the clauses of the partnership contract with Jatin and her refusal of his proposal may bring that to light... 😉

My take on yesterday's episode!

For me the Dev-Soha scene stole the show!

It was such an amazingly directed scene.

Simple yet moving.

The way they showed the father -daughter connection without revealing it was just fabulous. Especially that smile they shared and the signature step.

Golu's shock was equally cute. But I hope in future the Golu and SOha become friends and there is no sour note between them when they have to share Dev's attention. Especially Golu.

I'm still confused about Jatin being positive or negative. From his actions he seemed like a genuine friend up until now, but booking the entire restaurant part confused me. Which friend does that? So like Dev's employee found out that he is thinking of marrying again, is he looking at Sona as a prospective partner? It's too soon to say that. It'll unravel as the story proceeds. Honestly, I hated his tickling Sona, constantly touching her. I'm on Dev's side here actually.😆

Bijoy Bose needs to control himself. I don't know what his problem in life is. Sona is a grown woman who knows how to take decisions. Over and above that she is a mother now. So Bijoy needs to stop with his I know what Shona needs. I really hope Asha drills some sense into him because from what we've all seen so far. Sonakshi seems to consider Jatin as her best friend, Period. And nothing else.

And I do not want to comment on Ishwari and her sandook. Her mera bachha and mera bachhey ka bachha was really getting on my nerves, as I mentioned in my post too.

Finally, I don't understand mamaji at all these days. What exactly is his aim? Going by what he is doing his aim looks like keeping Ishwari happy. Doesn't matter what the reason for the happiness is. Whether it is right or wrong. And frankly, that does more damage than good. So he needs to stop this soon.

So that's about it.

Okay so that was my first time sharing my take here.

I hope I could convey something atleast!

@shaavi - once again a good write up. Last post I was telling myself not to think of haloed Jatin as negative but reading all updates now makes me think otherwise. To be fair - I've not seen the episode yet. Also come to think of it, all who cross sonakshi's path are very understanding so will the creatives go the same cliched way again. But then again in this show we have a clearly grey hero 😆 so maybe Jatin will be understanding too ? Don't know with these CVs, they always throw a spanner in the works . I saw the Dev and Soha instant connection and my poor heart melted. It was just mind blowing... felt very bad for Dev and Soha 😕 , that instant connect, that instant bond 😳 ... sigh... I so want Dev to blast Sona for missing out on his daughter for so long, but the way Dev is regarding Sona maybe he'll let her off the hook easily? 😕. I can't ever imagine Dev agreeing to a second marriage but that was Dev 1.0 but Dev 2.0 might - who knows - can't gauge what this unpredicatable loose cannon will do next 😆 . The only thing I can see that is the same is he is not over Sonakshi and anyone coming close to her makes him the hulk! 😆 . Many wild scenarios are running in my mind and I'm scared about some of them. What matters to me now is Dev and Soha's bond. I'm all set to see a doting papa and his little princess 😳 . And me too waiting for Sona's unraveling - but will we get one or will we get something tepid?
