@Shaavi, very well analysed 👏
Sonakshi was always emotionally strong in Devakshi's relationship, which gives her a sense of pride and being the anchor of the ship. She thought that she will solve everything single handedly without Dev's help. N sometimes i felt she didn't tried to understand Dev's POV, like during Neha- ranveer's issue before marriage. Dev was apprehensive about his sister getting married to not- so- same status guy and she can face difficulty. But did she listened to him, no she made him understand that love is enough. Dev was being practical but she discarded his POV and in the end we all saw the result of Neha and Ranveer's marriage.
After breakup Sonakshi never got a chance to heal. She was continuously told that she is strong by her parents and has to move on because she was not at fault. She didn't got time to cry over her failed relationship and she tried to be the perfect daughter of her parents. Even after Devakshi's marriage she didn't let her fears out in front of Dev. If she would have confided then Dev would have tried to assure her, but till the end Dev didn't understood where the problem was and when he realised it was too late then.
During the marriage she always wanted to set everything right without taking any help from Dev, because she didn't trusted Dev. She never told him how she felt and expected Dev to understand, which was not possible. I will share my own example here, I don't like to open up easily and share my problems. I try to solve them myself and most of the times its like discussing my friend's issues rather then mine. And my friends think that i don't have any problems, bcz until i will not open up then how can they assume that i am having any problem. Now i feel frustrated sometimes that why people are not understanding me and its always me who discuss about others problems give them solutions. But am i right. No i am not. No one will help me if i will keep things to myself. And then one day i cannot blame them for not being there for me. If you are strong then handle it and if you need help then ask for it.

Help will be always given at Hogwarts who asks for it.

In the same way Dev would have tackled the situation in some other way if Sona had confided her deep fears to him. Even I was angry when she said all those things to Jatin. Dev would have been her friend, helped her with business, handled Bose family financial crisis with her as a true partner. Bcz marriage is not getting upper hand, but its about companionship with both as equals.

@ Shaavi.. read ur POV on pg no. 42 not sure abt pg no
The words Sona said..
That was that first issue told her that inspite or all such things happened she saved Dev's life... Here issue reference was past of them, that means she pointed out abt Sona, so in the same way she answered her back by pointing herself.. coz that's the language issue understands...
Also it was Dev who called her though unknowingly... So she was the one to go to Dev... So both started from Sona helping..
Meri jagah koi aur hota to bhi ye hai karta..

Then she while leaving suddenly turned to talk to Dev.. here she wanted to clear... Not only to Dev but issue too... That convo with Dev she knew Dev has got her point, that Dev said U r playing like me, n issue intentions were clear to her, as she knows issue a little.. that still issue is not ready to accept her then how can she accept any favour from her...
This may b the reason abt starting the convo meri jagah...

Hope I have made some sense

@Shaavi, I completely agree with you and I feel she never trusted him enough to let him in. She expected him to share everything with her but she failed to do the same, unfortunately he never made this a big issue between them whether it's hiding vikky and Elena affair or her new business venture. Why it's treated as a insult to her capabilities if her husband wants to appreciate and support her and why it's called pillar of strength when her friend does the same. Interesting definition for women empowerment.

Shaavi U have exactly voiced my thoughts...
I had always thought that talking bad abt the Bose family will b like inviting some one to bash me directly..
But I didn't like Bijoy's POV since they revealed their relation in Dixit house...
I still remember when I for the first felt bad inspite of loving Bose family is that, when Sona was trying to learn cooking Bijoy refused her to put efforts n also he repeatedly has said or should I say printed in her mind that if Dixits r trying to teach to doubt ur own self then they r not worth having U..
Was that a good advice from a father.. he has never accepted Dev till date n we all wer n r mad at issue still not able to accept Sona...

Dev has always trusted Sona at once not even any explanation needed for him... Post marriage there were many instances...
Neha, n Riya also, where she was caught making fake profile, where as Deb at once trusted her without giving himself a second thought. Also when Ranvir n his bhabhi came n accused Sona she tried to reason Dev, but Dev jus gave hugs within a sec n showed that he trusted her... But Sona has failed a big tym for sure...

Here in Soha's case too she is repeating the same mistake of not trusting Dev.. n Dev may point the same that U never trusted me n so U din let me know abt my daughter, U don't trust me as a husband, din trust as being a SIL too, nor U trusted me as a father...

@ Shaavi

I 100% agree with you

Its like I said before we could clearly see what Ishwari was doing but Bijoy was subtle in his ways so when one looks at the scene you clearly wow what an amazing father encourages his daughter all the time you are strong but it had a negative impact on her .

Bijoy when Sonakshi got married he was angry that her customs were not been recognized in the Dixit house he wanted Dev to fully follow her traditions because he felt his daughter is educated , independent and very strong .

Bijoy is the one that told Sona make Dev sort or pack his clothing cupboard
Sona obeyed because in her eyes too her father is not wrong

Sona and Dev its true he made her his best friend even before they started dating but she never shared anything about her family not even when they were dating or married .

Sona having a strong personality and firm emotional base wanted Dev to do things her way while Dev allowed Sona freedom to her own decisions
Sona wanted to be part of business decisions only because her father had sown the seed that she holds the reins of the marriage and she needs to carve Dev out a certain way

Sona wanted to be the perfect daughter for her father great pressure already and she needed to follow his every word not realizing its pulling her away from her marriage

Bijoy never wanted Dev to know if they were going through financial difficulties and that's because Dev was treated much as an outsider
if Ishwari treated Sona as an outsider then Bijoy too played his part well

today Bijoy praises Jatin because he gave financial help to Sona's company which clearly confirms he couldn't accept his SIL or anything from him as it would be an insult to his ego

Ishwari stood with chains around Dev and Sona but Bijoy had invisable ropes both were pulling their own child away from the other while Dev and Sona never realized the play of their parents

@Shaavi, beautifully analysed. I was just thinking out loud. Didn't actually mean to put it here. 😆 But I was thinking and when I answered another post I just wrote the same here on an impulse. I agree with you and I was thinking along these lines and was surprised on why she could open up with this guy. But I got the answer from the same thread from randomramblings. This guy accepted her as she was. Didn't expect her to be anything where as everyone else expected her to be the strong one including Dev. 😆

Thanks Geena. 😊 Dev did not really expect her to be the strong one. It was she who was never comfortable being anythign other than being the strong one in front of him. He wanted her to open up to him the way he opened up. He never felt ashamed to show his vulnerabilities to her, but Sona did not want to do that. She wanted Dev to think of her as perfect.

@Sam the other day mentioned about the car driving lesson where Sona stalled Dev with her words so that she did not have to show that she was not comfortable learning driving. She did not want to fail. But Dev was just the opposite. He did not mind that he failed in front of her or to admit that he was wrong or not really smart. But Sonakshi showed only that side of her which she wanted him to see. She never let Dev see the real her.

I remember this proverb that I read long ago. it goes like this -- A doctors mistakes gets buried(patient dies). An Engineers mistakes stands tall(buildings). But a teachers mistake goes on(cause it passes on from one person to another, one generation to another).

Here the mistakes of Bijoy cause Sonakshi to fail big time in her marriage. Now the same mistake is causing Soha to not have anyone in her life. In today's episode when they showed Golu and Soha, Golu was surrounded by friends, but Soha had none. Golu might not be the smartest of the lot when it comes to education, but he has friends to share. Soha might be the smartest and get good grades, but she doesn't have anyone. Also when she will need a friend, she will find nobody is really ready to help her as she made them not feel friendly(kind of the that feeling of acceptance).

Sona needs to realize that she needs to be honest too with her feelings, her true feelings and accept that being imperfect is ok. That just like Dev needed her to complete him, she needs him to complete her. Yin and Yang working together in harmony. It is a balance needed from both sides. Teamwork is how marriages work. 😊

@ Jiyaa Thank you...😊

@CSCS Thank you... 😊 your words "Bcz marriage is not getting upper hand, but its about companionship with both as equals. " is what marriage is about. I feel this is what the makers are trying to show. 😃

@Chandniyati Thank you.. 😊

@LiveLife321 Thank you...😊 I completely agree with you. Sonakshi should have been honest the way Dev was...😃

@Sona_Naksh Thank you...😊

@Jade0001 Thank you...😊 "Sona having a strong personality and firm emotional base -- Sonakshi did not really have a strong emotional base. It looked like she did because the toxicity was well hidden. She is emotionally weak than Dev. Dev might have been blindly dependent on his mom, but Sonakshi did it with her eyes open. She never really realized the effect Bijoys demand of perfection had on her. She did not just want her life to be perfect, but wanted her life with Dev to be perfect too. She failed to realize her human side. Hiding the kind of emotional side as Sona does always has bigger consequences than being honest about it.

If Sonakshi had been honest from the get go of their relationship, then Vickky would never have the opportunity to create misunderstanding. Also she did not trust Dev when he trusted her implicitly. Sonakshi thought Dev might also be like her who hid things from her which was not the case... And in a way what Dev said today that she wants to be like him is true...😃
