Loved your post. All points valid.
Frankly I fail to see Bijoy's contribution in this break up. With all his ranting and raving, Sona chose to remain a doormat to Dixits and it took a huge blow (like slap to her dad, a get out from Dev and his family, an ouster of her family from their home, a prenup and Dev;'s ugly words on her lack of skills wrt earning money, being a good mother,, etc.. ) for her to come out of her fairy land and smell the stink.

Bijoy wanted his daughter's happiness and Ishwari wanted her own happiness even if it is at the cost of her son's happiness. Huge difference.

If anything I am thankful to Cv's that they have given character like bijoy he's good father, son, most imp "GOOD husband.i liked that in Friday's episode he said he loves his wife most .😊 Dev babu toh pyaar kya Hain ye jaante hi nahi .Sona is not lucky like Asha.😕

@bold: True that.. If Dev was asked with Ish around then it sure would be Meri Maa.. If only Sona around(when they were together) then it would be Sonakshi.. If both are there then.. 😆
Sure it's Maa only because Sonakshi will understand.. In case of Baaba if Daadi was there then too it would have been Asha because Daadi would understand.. That's why they are elders.. And we take blessings from them.. If their experience hasn't taught anything to them then they are just growing old in age being a burden to Mother earth without much to take away from them 😆

Very well said I get annoyed too when people compare bijoy with that mental mata ishu.
Please post this to Cvs, they are hell bent on justifying ishu mata ji. Can someone give cvs these comments and say look how u have ur ishu center of attension, but we all hate her so much

Thank you for making this post. There's absolutely no comparison between Bijoy and Ishwari. He is rude, abrupt and eccentric. But he is not a hypocrite who pretend to be goody two shoes in front of his daughter and play dirty games to ruin her marriage behind her back.

He never treated Saurabh and Dev differently. He never Dev feel like an outsider the one time he visited Sona's family for one night. Dev made himself an outsider to please his mother. Otherwise that family embraced him like their own.

Ishwari kept on treating Sonakshi like outsider from day 1. No matter how much she tried, she was treated like a burden they were tolerating for Dev.

She was uncomfortable there every day. Dev didn't notice.

Dev was never uncomfortable at Bose's place because when Bijoy kicked them out, he threw both his daughter and son-in-law out.

At that time, people were claiming how could Bijoy risk their safety despite them having a car and enough money to go in their hotel. There were no uproar from the same people when Dev was celebrating his birthday at midnight with his family while his wife was waiting alone in the hotel without even a transportation in the same city where previously their joint life was at risk.

I will take a concerned, loving and protective father over an uncaring, selfish father who doesn't give a damn about their daughter's pain because they are more concerned with what will society think.

And sorry, if any in-law doesn't want a daughter's father to interfere, they better treat his daughter like she was treated in his home. They get to have their son and HIS daughter taking care of them, what are they doing in return? What gives them the right to treat his daughter like a burden? And why should he tolerate that so that they and their precious son can get to have their cake and eat it too.

Bijoy made mistakes. But every single time when he was called on it, he apologized. And the way he treated his mother and wife? He is also an ideal husband. Even today, he never disrespects his wife when she points out his mistakes. But always respectfully willing to listen.

If I had told you that imagine Bijoy is played by Shaheer, Asha is played by Erica and Sonakshi is Soha, a lot of people will change their mind at Bijoy's suitability as a father. Suddenly he will seem like the ideal father even if he slaps the guy who hurt his daughter, not once but twice and never kept any of his promises.

100% agree.
You are perfect when it comes to explain something.
Thanks
